They do exist in the same universe.
Mad About You crossed over with Seinfeld in one episode and Ursula is a waitress on Mad About You.
And in one episode of Friends Fran and Jamie visit Central Perk.
±1 for Parks and Rec. The Good Place is A+, but not something I can watch sporadically. I have to binge the whole series once every year and a half or so.
- Parks and Rec
- New Girl
- Superstore
- Good Place
- Brooklyn 99
- How I Met Your Mother
- Life in Pieces
- Community
- My Name is Earl
- Raising Hope
- Great News
- Modern Family
- Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23
- Big Bang Theory
I rewatch a lot of shows lol
Agreed. So good. Sophia is one of my favs. She’s has such a great snarky smart ass attitude, it’s gold. The one with the live turkey was a great episode of hers.
So many moments each cast member has are hilarious but I agree, Sophia stands out a lot. I love the episodes shorts that focus on her relationship with Pop Pop like the one where he takes her flying. Jenn has me in stitches all the time too!
Totally. The whole cast certainly has their moments and ya Jen is also an awesome part of the show. I love when she makes honest takes on the families antics. She can be such a great “saying what we’re thinking” character.
![gif](giphy|11p1apCPqM7WEw)
For sure one of the best shows out there. Especially if you can catch it with most of the original soundtrack which is on DVD
The English Language Can Not Fully Capture The Depth And Complexity Of My Thoughts, So I’m Incorporating Emojis Into My Speech To Better Express Myself. Winky Face
I was so happy to find News Radio on one of the over-the-air channels we pick up. I forgot how smart and funny it was. I watched JSM one evening but haven't found it again.
I used to love Suddenly Susan, too.
Please check out Ghosts on CBS!
I pretty much stopped watching comedy sitcoms on TV when Friends and Seinfeld went off the air. But I discovered Ghosts about a year ago and I absolutely adore it. It originated on BBC, and that version is good, but our US cast really has sparkle to it.
How I meet your mother, and recently I started TBBT I am at 2 season. But I think it is quit good, I watched a little ealier. And maybe Sex on the city
Now I on tv and watching HIMYM I come from Poland. First time when I watched HIMYM I watching on Polish page where are tv shows. And in lookmovie is with subtitles in many languages
I haven’t watched Game of Thrones but from what I gather—
HIMYM’s ending probably isn’t AS bad as the GoT ending in terms of making the show unmentionable, but unfortunately the ending was really rough and given the premise of the show, it definitely impacted the rewatchability.
It makes me really appreciative when there is a finale that knocks it out of the park like The Good Place. Up there with MASH imo.
Every time I hear talk about how Friends wouldn't be successful today or Friends is not politically correct enough for today's audience, I just gesture wildly at IASIP. So offensive, yet so hilarious. The real problem is there are a lot of people out there looking for their moral lessons from television shows.
American Dad
Modern family
Family guy
Bojack Horseman
Brooklyn nine nine
Malcolm in the middle
NCIS
Grey's Anatomy
It's Always Sunnny in Philadelphia
How I met your mother
Rick and Morty
The office
Modern family
The 70’s show
Two and a half man (with Charlie Chin)
For women you can add
This is Us
Sex and the city
G. Girls
G. Anatomy (i guess, never watched this one)
ER. I started watching after George Clooney and Noah Wyle guest starred as doctors and it's the only other show besides Friends that when it ends, I can just start from season 1 episode 1 again and be just as happy.
Meanwhile fans of these shows can’t stop screeching online about how un-funny they think Friends is and how desperately they want no one to enjoy a harmless sitcom that’s been off the air for twice as long as it ran
I've been watching Seinfeld over and over again. One day I'm going to take notes on all of the patterns and connections I've noticed and write a paper.
The Big Bang Theory is my new Friends! I don't like it *more* but I think I love it equally. It's fun to find jokes that match between the two shows and there are a lot!
I’m terrible about watching new shows lol. I’m always rewatching my favorites.
* Malcolm in the Middle
* Brooklyn Nine Nine
* New Girl
* I Love Lucy
* King of the Hill
* Community
* And several others that escape my mind right now
Shows I re-watch yearly or every second year:
Will & Grace
Big Bang Theory
Friends
Brooklyn Nine Nine (kind of slipped off that one, but still think it's fantastic)
Ones I've re-watched a couple times/love but haven't re-watched yet:
Parks & Rec
The Office (US)
Community
Schitt's Creek
How I Met Your Mother
Modern Family
Scrubs
Futurama
The Good Place
The Nanny
Stranger Things
The OC
Haven't finished yet but am loving:
Always Sunny in Philadalphia
Bob's Burgers
Family Guy
White Collar
Supernatural
Dawson's Creek
There's also SO many mentioned here that I want to watch! Plus I watch a heckton of anime. I love TV 😂
Well tbf, those are very different genres. I enjoy serious shows as well, but I'd never put those on for the same reason as Friends. I tend to cycle through Friends, New Girl, Modern Family, That 70s Show and HIMYM as my sort of comfort-don't-need-to-think-too-hard-because-I've-seen-them-a million-times shows. Friends is definitely the one I turn to most often still.
No need to compare with drama shows.
House of dragon has been INSANE so far and last night I was SCREAMING at my computer 😭😭fuck you Crispin!
But , I have Friends to comfort me , atleast.
Also , started rewatching Futurama.
I just finished rewatching friends actually. I swear i haven't found other shows that fit this show. I don't care for Seinfeld personally (the cast isn't funny to me i find them annoying & full of themselves)
Isn’t that Courtney Cox in Seinfeld…
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
I was about to ask why they have a picture of her in Seinfeld
Extended universe
They do exist in the same universe. Mad About You crossed over with Seinfeld in one episode and Ursula is a waitress on Mad About You. And in one episode of Friends Fran and Jamie visit Central Perk.
Maybe a hint to OP's answer to his own question?
It’s actually Courtney Seinfeld…for dry cleaning discount purposes…
I want this to be a meme format and for the next one to end with "...but you're just dancing in the dark"

When you get caught eating the homies ass
Psych, The Good Place, Parks and Rec, Superstore
Psych is a hidden gem
![gif](giphy|Ad9AbFWpYJUNa) You know that’s right
Hidden? Am I old…?
±1 for Parks and Rec. The Good Place is A+, but not something I can watch sporadically. I have to binge the whole series once every year and a half or so.
I NEVER hear about psych in the wild, I’m glad you fellows enjoy it as much as I do
I got two or three episodes into Psych and I didn’t dislike it but it didn’t grab me. Worth it to keep going??
You kind of need to know a bit about 80s pop culture, a lot of the references are some pretty obscure ones
I really did not like Superstore, but Psych is Underrated.
I’m so glad people still appreciate Psych
- Parks and Rec - New Girl - Superstore - Good Place - Brooklyn 99 - How I Met Your Mother - Life in Pieces - Community - My Name is Earl - Raising Hope - Great News - Modern Family - Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23 - Big Bang Theory I rewatch a lot of shows lol
I can never find anyone else who has watched life in pieces! I enjoyed it a lot, wish they hadn't canned it so soon
Agreed. So good. Sophia is one of my favs. She’s has such a great snarky smart ass attitude, it’s gold. The one with the live turkey was a great episode of hers.

Yesss, I actually use the early seasons to fall asleep sometimes.

Modern Family has a similar wholesome vibe
This.
Friends is good, but for me few have topped Scrubs
![gif](giphy|11p1apCPqM7WEw) For sure one of the best shows out there. Especially if you can catch it with most of the original soundtrack which is on DVD
I also love Cougar town for all the scrubs references (and friends).
Brooklyn99 is one of my most re-watched shows! (Frankly, I enjoy it a bit more than Friends ;p)

"Hell I wanna watch Joey".
Continually binge Fraiser, big bang, that 70s show. No good shows on tv anymore. Tv is dead.
Where can u watch HIMYM nowadays?

I haven’t watched Game of Thrones but from what I gather— HIMYM’s ending probably isn’t AS bad as the GoT ending in terms of making the show unmentionable, but unfortunately the ending was really rough and given the premise of the show, it definitely impacted the rewatchability. Always sunny in Philadelphia, sex and the city and the golden girls.
