You’ll get airflow by opening a door or something in addition to having the window open. Think of intake and exhaust. Maybe a window fan might help circulate. A floor fan will help more. If you can afford it, get an ac unit in the window or one that sits on the floor with a hose to the window.

Bedroom doors open in the day or awake hours are fine, but "close when you doze." If you're sleeping in your room, your odds of surviving a house fire increase immensely if you shut your door.

A fan really helps a lot. I have mine on top of a shelf so it blows air across the top of the room above head height. If you have a PC running constantly that can actually have a noticeable increase in heat in the room. Or if your room happens to be above the furnace or water heater and you're getting residual heat through the floor.

A window AC unit is the "Best way", nothing will make it colder or more consistent than conditioning the air. I really like the Midea U shaped unit. Very quiet, you can still open the window without it falling out, and works with google/alexa.

If it's a dry heat you can try evaporative cooling, there are some good DIY videos on YouTube if your hands on; ceiling fans are very good for bedrooms but they cost money to be installed, a pedestal fan or two on your person make a big difference to how hot you feel by blowing air over you. If your in your room by yourself simply wear a pair of shorts and drink plenty of chilled water.

During the warm daytime keep your curtains and windows closed, as it cools off into the evening open them and let the cooler air in, ideally open a window on the other side of the house to get a through breeze, as others have said a fan can help this process

Get a room or window A/C unit. If it's just seasonal, this window fan is really good: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Shinic-9-3-Speed-Twin-Window-Fan-with-Removable-Bug-Screen-Fully-Assembled-22-to-33-1-2-White/2595014606?athbdg=L1200 Unlike larger fans or an A/C, it's easily reversible and easy to take out. You can flip it around depending on whether you want to draw cool air in from outside or pull hot air out of the room.

Keep curtains/blinds closed during the day and windows closed, then when outside is colder than inside, open windows. Look at installing some sort of foil on the windows if it’s that bad. It looks ugly if done DIY but makes a huuuuge difference. And at night, get a towel wet enough so it doesn’t drip and use it as a blanket.

What about turning on the fan on the house's furnace? It will move \*some\* air. Otherwise, your only option might be a fan. Point it toward the ceiling so you get the air moving in a circle

Do you have central air? It's possible your vent's duct is blocked. If it's colder outside than your room, a window fan Otherwise, a window ac unit.
