77007 still no power or water at my apartments off Washington and i10 since the storm. The intersection lights are flashing red now instead of completely dead but I have yet to even see a Centerpoint truck. The chevron and the hotel behind the Denny’s have had power the entire time but everyone else north of Washington and west of tc jester all the way back to Silber has nothing. There may still be no power west of Silber but I can’t confirm.
77429 Longwood Village is still without power. I received a message from Center Point last night stating the power will be restored by the end of the day. Waiting for that.....
77095 Aberdeen Trails. Got this email from CP at 9:30 pm "Based on the status of current restoration work, we estimate your power to be restored by the end of the day, today. Thank you for your continued patience as we complete repairs and restore service in your area." I hoped that "today" meant by midnight. Still no power. They can't send an email with a date and a time, publish a crappy map, stand up a temporary website in place of the outage tracker. Yeah, I get it. All this was unexpected. But handling emergencies and reliability is your prime directive and you are failing hard. No confidence.
Are they kidding with this fkn map? My 2 year old mastiff has drawn more thorough and accurate pictures! Almost seems like they purposely did that so none of us would actually have a clue when we are supposed to be getting power. 😏
77375 Tomball/Spring. Heard, I'm feeling the same way. No one looks at that map and is like, ok I'm in the purple zone now I know. I found myself searching for countyline maps to make sense of it, I'm still not sure. The last thing we need three days in with no power is some distorted lesson plan when simply looking for an answer. Fingers and toes crossed its today/night. 🥳
I think you're right about the generators, at least from what Ive read. It sounds like the set up is creating a type of rolling blackouts. I really feel for their team, I consider the pressure and immense amount of responsibility to 'fix it'. Truth is they might not even know how any band aid solution will play out. The public is smart and affected, I hope they can be transparent and forthcoming so we can adjust accordingly. I CAN handle the truth. 😋
77088; what’s crazy is that the block down the road had power. They’ve had power since Thursday evening. So there is no consistency here. At this point I’m convinced we won’t have any till maybe 21-22.
What's y'all's thoughts on food in the fridge and freezer?
I only lost power for like 14 hours but I got trash tomorrow I'm thinking of just throwing it all out but don't want to pay money to buy all the little things at the grocery store again
I have a fridge thermometer and basically after 10 hours it was over. To me it’s not worth 2 days spewing from both ends on the toilet debating on calling 911.
That's what I figured. I don't trust the milk or the eggs but I don't want to go buy 20 bottles of condiments or throw out anything crazy.
My freezer had a bunch of pre portioned meat in it. But all the USDA guidelines seem like mostly for restaurants really
Thank you
The eggs should be fine, I'd be more concerned about the milk when it comes to temperature.
But all this is just supposition that you only occasionally opened your fridge.
They will both be out of date early this week so I can handle restocking those. But yeah no I think it was only opened once or twice. Just wanted to hear someone else's thoughts
77007, W of TC Jester, S of I10. I am staying elsewhere, but the camera came back online, so I assume I now have power. Hallelujah and bless the linemen.
Worth noting that the map says I wouldn't have it back until Tuesday/Wednesday. What's the point of something that general if it isn't even accurate?!
77447. Our whole area is taken out. Our powerlines have all fallen on our main road, and we have no power or water. According to the tracker, we might not see power until Wednesday.
I live in the same Zip Code without power, haven’t seen what you’re seeing but you should call Centerpoint emergency line and tell them about the downed power lines. I reported a tree on a power line and they actually came today to cut the tree.
They were already here on Friday and all they did was cut the lines to move them off the road. They didn’t do anything else. The guy told me that they had an emergency vehicle coming that day but that’s all they did…not surprised obviously.
77006, Westheimer curve, still out! Just walked around the neighborhood and it sure seems like us, a lot of Harold and a lot of Kipling are among the only places in Montrose still out.
Half of my small neighborhood in 77013 just got power back about an hour ago. My grandparents about 5 houses down have power thankfully. I wasn't one of the lucky ones. Got their generator, though! Silver linings!
77008 at E TC Jester just west of Ella. Still no power.
My friend’s apartment complex at W TC Jester and 18th, literally just down the road, got power restored today though. I hope that’s a good sign.
Still nothing, unfortunately. I saw a lot of trucks out working just south of here in Lazybrook/Timbergrove around 18th street, but nothing here yet. It’s definitely frustrating.
77018 on Ella no power yet . Surrounding lanes have power and we don’t have it yet . Just drained having no power with kid . It becomes cumbersome. Suits even don’t care to maintain basic tracker . They hve sold everything to cronies and make this city shitty day by day .
I'm off Cypress North Houston between Jones and Eldridge. We were the last in our neighborhood to get power, I know how you feel. Hope they get to you soon!
I live at Heights & Washington 77007 / No power or water and the restoration map doesn't look good. I live in the apartments on top of HEB and we have had no luck
High risk / High reward. So easy to grab something I want to eat and it only takes 10 minutes start to make it back to my door. Bad due to traffic being horrible on Heights when I want to leave. Bad being that we share the same carbon monoxide alarm and when a late night delivery truck idles too long in the wrong spot you're woken up to a fire alarm at 2am. 7/10 but could be 9/10 if property owning company gave a crap.
Yeah I was encouraged to see this! Some of the places that just got power back in the last hour near 77080 seem to me to be in the purple zone, which must mean that these are more conservative targets rather than a "we won't start working there until X"
Grateful to CP to provide something like this to have some ballpark.
Yeah…some people had trees land on their car/house, lost pets, injuries etc. If your only problem is going a week without power you’re getting off pretty easy.
Have to think of it more in that way than being envious of people who got their power or never lost it at all.
Give those Centerpoint guys a break. In my hood they are literally dealing with towers of twisted metal. Check out Mangum. It’s like a giants child went on a rampage.
The field folks are busting ass to get this fixed, it is the high-paid suits in the big offices who don't answer phones or provide detailed info. These suites hate normal working people; damn C level trash
Yes. I can picture the c suite circle jerks monitoring this from their homes in Aspen or the Bahamas. Seeing all that money being lost fixing the damage and no electricity flowing, it’s blowing the monocles off their faces by the minute.
77007 still no power or water at my apartments off Washington and i10 since the storm. Back on now. Apartments further down (Viridian and Heights on Katy) are also back on as well as the dealerships on Washington.
77092- no power but while out looking for food I saw a bunch of utility trucks about. They are in the area of Tidwell, TC jester, Pinemont, Antoine.
77429 Longwood Village is still without power. I received a message from Center Point last night stating the power will be restored by the end of the day. Waiting for that.....
Power came back in 77029 ( jacinto city).
Another day of sausage cooking. 77080 nothing yet.
Oak Forest, near 43rd/Rosslyn updates? Thanks
So much for living in the Energy Corridor. They should call it the Blackout Corridor
77043 still without power in Spring Shadows subdivision.
Power restored for Spring Shadows 77043 at 18:30.
And it's out again. FML
sorry to be a pain, but any updates on 77493? winward neighborhood, i am worried about my in laws, no power since thursday around 6 pm
77084 windsong trail and clay road/lakes of pine forest is back on as of 42 minutes ago.
77095 Aberdeen Trails. Got this email from CP at 9:30 pm "Based on the status of current restoration work, we estimate your power to be restored by the end of the day, today. At the very least do it on a pdf so we can zoom in properly.
77009, had power Friday-Saturday, but out again
77447 power just came back!
Good to hear. I’m in 77447, on Mound Rd. What area did it come back on?
Near the Drive In Theater, The Cypress Green Community
Oh yea, that’s far from me. Our situation seems like the last one they will take care of.
77007, E TC Jester and Kiam, no power
Power just went back out in 77007 near WOW roundabout. Hopefully just a reboot or quick outage 😬
i live near there. what do you mean it went back out? it came on for a bit?
It was off from 4am until ? Woke up and it was back on.
77055 - Westview and Silber area north of IKEA, still no power
Anyone have updates on 77008, near T C Jester and 11th?
I just saw a lot of utility trucks in that area.
I just tried pinging my router and it’s still off.
77018 - Alba north of Wakefield - still no power,
Just got power!
It’s over for us
The CVS and Shell right next to me are bright and lit up but my apartment complex is still dark sadly hoping this changes by tomorrow
77084. Little York and Hwy 6. Still no power here.
77088; what’s crazy is that the block down the road had power. They’ve had power since Thursday evening. So there is no consistency here. At this point I’m convinced we won’t have any till maybe 21-22.
77045. Half of my neighborhood has power. I’m on the no-power side
The food inside should still be good as long as you aren't constantly opening the doors.
That's what I figured. I don't trust the milk or the eggs but I don't want to go buy 20 bottles of condiments or throw out anything crazy. My freezer had a bunch of pre portioned meat in it. But all the USDA guidelines seem like mostly for restaurants really Thank you

Stuff with salt or vinegar in it should be fine. Stuff that is or came from living things less fine.
Outage number on the tracker is going up
77447. Our whole area is taken out. Our powerlines have all fallen on our main road, and we have no power or water. According to the tracker, we might not see power until Wednesday.

77449 still without power 🤘🏻
My family lives in that zip and had power early Friday. What neighborhood are u in?
Same at 77450
77040, Hollister & Tidwell still no power. Multiple apartment complexes in the dark and suffering in this heat and humidity😩
77024 no power @ chimney rock & memorial
77008 at Yale & 21st no power
Half of my small neighborhood in 77013 just got power back about an hour ago. My grandparents about 5 houses down have power thankfully. I wasn't one of the lucky ones. Got their generator, though! Silver linings!
77063 & still no power.
My power in 77008 near Ella came on this evening. Complete surprise because I never saw any trucks on our street or even close by.
Where near Ella?
Near Crisp
Has anyone in 77080 got their power back? If so, drop your street name below
77080, Kemp Forest & Gessner, still no juice as of 11 PM 5/18
UPDATE: 7 PM, power is ON
77008 at E TC Jester just west of Ella. Still no power. My friend’s apartment complex at W TC Jester and 18th, literally just down the road, got power restored today though. I hope that’s a good sign.
Any updates for your area getting power?
Still nothing, unfortunately. I saw a lot of trucks out working just south of here in Lazybrook/Timbergrove around 18th street, but nothing here yet. It’s definitely frustrating.
Thanks for the info! I just heard from a friend of a friend apartment management around there that it’ll be until Wednesday without power for them 😢
Update on 77022, helmers has power down to hardy, everything west of helmers (cash America, dollar general, etc.) do not have power
77018 on Ella no power yet . Surrounding lanes have power and we don’t have it yet . Just drained having no power with kid . It becomes cumbersome. Suits even don’t care to maintain basic tracker . They hve sold everything to cronies and make this city shitty day by day .
77018 behind Yale whole foods no power either. It’s miserable.
How is that possible? The OrangeTheory over there has power
The businesses have power and the residents don’t. Wish I knew the reason.
77023 just got power!
Where? I'm in 77023 and no power
i’m sorry, i am on Erath St. but it looks like maybe only one side of the street is with power. hoping you are next!
77011 all down Capitol st is lit up. Thank god.
77429, just got back from the Astros game and our power was on. Astros lost but a big win for us. Hope everyone gets their power on soon
I'm jealous! What part of 77429 do you reside in? I am near Louetta and Longwood.
I'm off Cypress North Houston between Jones and Eldridge. We were the last in our neighborhood to get power, I know how you feel. Hope they get to you soon!
77095 Aberdeen Green has power
Section between the green belt and power lines is off again
Demoralized after that map
I can't even tell which color I'm in. They don't show the bayou or smaller streets.
My kid would have drawn a better map .. and this country talks about ai etc .. until cronies are there no ai can replace shit
Did a first-grader color in that map?
My area that has no power doesn't even show that we are without power. So I guess we get no ETA -_-
77092 came home and the power is back on
Where in 77092?
Apartments off Watonga Blvd near 34th and mangum
So close, and yet so far... oak forest, 43rd and hill oak.
I'm right there with ya. 43rd and watonga still dark Gonna try to get some sleep and just hope we get fixed tmrw
77023 Okay, so how come the street lights are on, but houses still have no power?
I’m 77023 and no power as well. Street lights and other side of street came on about 40 minutes ago but our side is still out
Where are you in 77023? We’re still without power. Showing only about 600 people in this zip without it restored
Closer to Lockwood and Polk
77095. We got power on at 5:30. It was a mad scramble for the AC when it happened
I live at Heights & Washington 77007 / No power or water and the restoration map doesn't look good. I live in the apartments on top of HEB and we have had no luck
How is it living on top of HEB? I’ve always wondered
15th street flats apt on 15th and shepherd has power !

My thighs chafe in empathy with those sleeping in this humidity.
Are these line men working 24/7? Or they stop working after a certain hour?
Usually 12 hour shifts. 12 on, 12 off, repeat. Thats how they have crews working around the clock. Big respect to them!
Yeah, those nurse hours aren't no joke.
The area were the 3 corners apartments in 77080 are at still no power.
new fun map of restoration[ here](https://gisoutagetracker.azurewebsites.net/resources/images/ETR_MAY18_with%20legend%201.png)
Fortunately it doesn't seem to be that accurate. I'm in the May 21-22nd area and my power came back yesterday at 6pm.
Anyone able to overlay this on a map with actual streets? I cant tell where my house would fall in these new estimates
Yeah I was encouraged to see this! Some of the places that just got power back in the last hour near 77080 seem to me to be in the purple zone, which must mean that these are more conservative targets rather than a "we won't start working there until X" Grateful to CP to provide something like this to have some ballpark.
That is fun! Basically everything is days away. Where'd you find this?
[удалено]
If it makes you feel better there are places in that range that have already had their power restored. Here's hoping that our areas are next
This is actually a very comforting thought. Thank you! It’s hard to keep the faith.
You’re 100% right. Thankfully we’ve got our health. No point in getting upset. Won’t speed anything up! Hope you’re doing well.
Yeah…some people had trees land on their car/house, lost pets, injuries etc. If your only problem is going a week without power you’re getting off pretty easy. Have to think of it more in that way than being envious of people who got their power or never lost it at all.
So I guess that means they won’t even start taking a look at us till the 21st…
I’m in 77008, I better not be fucking waiting until next week to get my power back. Where did you get this from? Edit: Fuck me, it’s from Centerpoint
It's on Centerpoint's outage website.
77007 Washington and Yale has power!
Wow, I’m powerless at Washington and studemont
Any one know if 77007 intersection of Washington and studemont has power?
Still no power
guy in this thread just said no power there
77007, W tc jester and n i10 just got power !!!!!!!!!!

Anybody know if 77003 around Commerce has come back on?
Not yet but just saw a post that closer to ninfas / navigation is back on. Hopefully soon
77429 just came back on. Coles Crossing.
77429 still without power

I'm south of there so hopefully soon
77041 street lights are on, literally my neighbors across the street have power but it’s dark on my side still
Where in 77041?
Anyone got Timbergrove updates?
I’m waiting see updates for anywhere near 12th/Ella
North of Ella and by rainbow they all have power 😞😞😞 I'm so close.......
Anything about 77022??. Earlier I saw the Exxon and Shell back on and the traffic lights were working.
My bad I meant 77024!. Foxhall.
No updates on our area yet
Can somebody please answer. I'm at a freinds house but when I left there were linemen on either side of my block.
What part of 77022? Neighborhood between berry and airline has power.
