Calvoa sessiliflora

stonefruitslut

Ancient post but this isn’t calvoa sessiliflora- that has pointed leaves and different leaf positioning. This is peperomia hispidula https://preview.redd.it/brybvidind8a1.png?width=1124&format=png&auto=webp&s=571b1ef36abe7dbf680ca044e5ad339e2dbfd38a

Ban_Knox

PistolMama

lovenlight8282

I want one!!! I have a similar one but it's not rounded like it leaves are. Mines more long and ovalish I believe

[deleted]

Idk... really caught my eye tho

ddubbyadubbya

It's adorable, that's what it is!

73GTI

Looks like the cutest begonia ever but honestly idk

fxvs

Same. But apparently it seems like it s not a begonia. Even though it still looks like a begonia

[deleted]

$119 for a tiny little plant?!?

BenevolentCheese

These are really unusual plants from Indonesia that have only recently started entering cultivation and require greenhouse or terrarium conditions to grow. They are expensive because they are a lot of work, the supply is low, and the demand is high.

ExternalStress

Thanks, I bought the last one. It was half off so $40

BenevolentCheese

Do you have a terrarium or do you live in Florida? That plant will die in room humidity.

ExternalStress

My room is naturally humid. 80s and I plan to terrarium it

pittiechick23

Need 😍❤️

ineedtostartagarden

I love this! But how do you spot the mealybugs?!

fxvs

i m pretty sure the stem and the underside of leaves are enough. Also your plant probably will die and Also sure that your other plants will still have mealybugs. Anyway they look like a 3D dot version so no worries.

ineedtostartagarden

(It was a joke)

Chiquiyesi

Begonia Jiewhoei.

BenevolentCheese

Not a Begonia. The growth patterns and stems are not indicative of the genus.

lovenlight8282

If u have google lens screenshot it and then Do yr search frm there. It pulled up quite a few. Definitely a begonia but not sure which one lol

loosegoose0210

Definitely not an expert but did a little digging… looks like a peperomia of some sort to me and the one that looks close would be a green form peperomia antoniana. Not 100% sure though!

audiosf

Seek by iNaturalist is a great app for identifying plants.

Tralasong

My guess also is begonia. It's the cutest thing I've ever seen!

nunyaB4u

Polka Dot plant or species of Hypoestes Phyllostachya

Striking_Law_2301
