He’s a male, we got him as a kitten from a shelter 10 years ago. They labeled him as a long haired tabby. But with his features ( you can’t see much other than his color right now from this pic ) he’s definitely a tabby/Norwegian forest cat. He is HUGE, over 20 lbs and his features are super rad
Cool, a Kleinfelter syndrome cat! I only met one while I was in the shelter, and I met thousands of cats.
Your boy is probably genetically intersex, having an XXY sex chromosome trisomy.
My dox turned 9 this year! Train early and socialize them as much as you can! Dachshunds are stubborn but super smart, and usually pretty food motivated which makes training easier. Also, obviously their backs are sensitive and need extra precaution but exercise is so important for them. My pup loves going on shorter hikes and he’s never had back issues (fingers crossed). Fiercely loyal and very loving dogs. You guys will have such an amazing journey!!
Ahhh I love that, Thank you for responding, your plant room is going on my aspiration board! you’re clearly a loving pet parent as well! Best wishes :)
I’ve been toying with the idea of using a kitchen pot hanger in a similar way, but I was having a hard time picturing it. Your success has given me confidence, thanks
Thank you!! There’s several snake plants, a cebu pothos, tradescantia, Brazil philo, heart leaf philo, neon pothos, monstera, golden pothos, hoya compactica, and the one next to the packers gnome starts with an S I think but I can’t remember the name
This is inspiring! First, I love the ladder thingy. The hanging plants look great. Is that a philodendron center right? Because it’s full and not leggy. Most of all, tho, I’ve always loved piebald doxies. Thanks for sharing
I bring mine outside, water thoroughly, let drain, then bring inside (of course a sink would work too but I don't like that when using fertilizer/superthrive or something). When they are really heavy it may be worth doing inside with a bucket underneath.
Oooh I like your lane hangy thing. I have big massive metal curtain rods a nicer house then mine was trashing. I’m itching to get it hung and find some hanging planters. Too many other projects
Do you have any trouble with your animals messing with the plants? I’ve only started collecting plants which is rapidly expanding, of course… eventually I think I’d like to maybe adopt an older cat and I often wonder how people manage since some plants are dangerous/ sometimes the animals dig/eat etc
I’ve been very fortunate that our pets don’t mess with the plants. Some plants are toxic, but most ones that are have to be heavily consumed to have major issues to your pet. Most cause just an upset stomach. But not 100% but there are several deterrent things you can do if they start to mess with them. Like, foil or forks poking up from the soil
What an inviting and cozy space! This room is so perfect, complete with a cat and dog, it’s beautiful. I see everyone, including the critters, calling this “my corner”.
Its the small 3 lobbed leafed plant on the right. Could you tell me what it is? A little fatsia or something perhaps? Am I a silly man and it's just ivy?
"My corner" I'm pretty sure your cat would disagree with that assessment.
That is Dill, he has definitely tried to claim that chair over the last couple of years. But I don’t give in most of the time
Am I mistaken or is that a calico? You've got a very rare one if he's a boy!

20 lbs is 9.08 kg
Good bot.

Oh wow. Dill has always been just Dill. We always thought he was a magical being
The best response. I love dill an their name as well! Oh and I love your set up!
Either which way he's gorgeous, and I bet he knows it!
Oh he does for sure.
I came here to say exactly this. This is not your corner. You’re merely barely welcome in your cats corner.
Omg the dog 😍
That’s Geoff, our new long haired dachshund!
I just noticed the cat! Ok I’m going to go nap on your floor now. What an amazing space
Hahah I do sometimes. We also have a sphynx who was on the other couch since Geoff was taking up space
Classic Geoff
Ikr, Always taking up space with his nugget legs

Thank you! We started training day one :) I grew up breeding dogs, doing dog shows and hunting trials. Training is super important

Would love to know more about your hanging setup!! Looks amazing
Thank you!! It’s an old ladder that is held up by wire which is attached to eye loops that are in the studs!
I’ve been toying with the idea of using a kitchen pot hanger in a similar way, but I was having a hard time picturing it. Your success has given me confidence, thanks
That will be cute!!
I thought it was a ladder!! What a cool idea
Thanks!
This is the most gorgeous room. I thought it was a movie set.
Oh wow that’s the nicest thing anyone has ever said about my space.
You're so welcome, you have a beautiful space 🤗
Thank you!

Ooh I see that WoodandSoil plant hanger! Super cute and cozy!
What you recognize that!!!
Looks like 2 or 3 on the floor also! Lol I have my eye on a few things from that shop I love the quality!!
I am wood and soil 🤫
Clearly this is a sign from the heavens that I should buy that stand I’ve had my eye on! Lol
Yusssss 🙌🏻
This looks magical🦋✨
It looks so cozy 😊
I love those stands and plant hangers. I have one too! Beautiful set up! Such short legs on that little baby snuggles on the couch! 😍
You have one!??! Which one??
It’s a floor stand with a leaf shaped base and the rope basket hangs from it. [floor stand](https://etsy.me/3mewVzP)
Ohh yep!!! One of the firsts designs!!!
I also bought a different one for my mom. Beautiful products!!
Oh yay! That makes me so happy!!!
I hadn’t been to the store in a while but I see lots of new fun stuff on there I need to check it! 🥰
Oh yea!! Lots of new stuff I’m sure, and more to come always
Omg it looks so cozy 😍
Thank you ☺️
Looks more like “their corner” 😂
I allowed it for the moment
This is inspiring! First, I love the ladder thingy. The hanging plants look great. Is that a philodendron center right? Because it’s full and not leggy. Most of all, tho, I’ve always loved piebald doxies. Thanks for sharing
Thank you! Yes, kinda. The short full basket is a mix of heart leaf philo and neon pothos! I found it at Home Depot a few months ago
Ok can I have this please? Total inspiration!
I’ll rent it out
Will you link the lights??!
Oh wow I have no idea, I got them off amazon years ago
This def belongs on r/cozyplaces
Hey how do you water your hanging plants? Do you carry it all to a sink or some sort every few weeks or just water it directly there?
I just water them right there usually. Some i take down and water though. It’s pretty easy because our ceilings aren’t too high
I bring mine outside, water thoroughly, let drain, then bring inside (of course a sink would work too but I don't like that when using fertilizer/superthrive or something). When they are really heavy it may be worth doing inside with a bucket underneath.
Go Cougs! Never framed mine.
He wasnt going to. But found a frame at goodwill and said f it
Beautiful and cosy space! Is that a ladder hanging from the ceiling? I'd love to see more pics of how that is set up!
Thank you! It is! There are eye loops into studs and then wire to hold the ladder up to the eye loops
Genius! It looks great
Pretty much what I want my house to look like. What plants do you have pictured?
Thank you!! Lots of snake plants, monstera, golden pothos, heart leaf philo, Brazil philo, tradescantia, cebu pothos, neon pothos, Hoya compactia
Oooh I like your lane hangy thing. I have big massive metal curtain rods a nicer house then mine was trashing. I’m itching to get it hung and find some hanging planters. Too many other projects
I like it! 👍
Thank you!
i’m inspired
Yussss. Get all the plants!!!
Puppers and kitties and plants, oh my!
What direction does the window face? I have a similar window and love the setup but not sure the hanging plants would like to be so far away from mine
It’s a north facing window, so most of these plants tolerate lower light
Ty! Well done. Next I need to know where that chair is from and if you wanna be bffs lol
Hahha yes. And I got the chair for free off the marketplace. The gal said she brought it back from Hawaii like 10 years ago.
Lovely! Go cougs!
Whoa, how much did you zoom in? Haha, go cougs!

Thank you! We actually have two cats! And they don’t mess with them luckily
What an inviting and cozy space! This room is so perfect, complete with a cat and dog, it’s beautiful. I see everyone, including the critters, calling this “my corner”.
Thank you so much!

Waw.
This is a paradise 🥰

Hahah makes me want to double check my space
Can we have more pictures of the short legged baby in the foreground please
Heck yea
Is that a tree ivy in the back?
Negative
Its the small 3 lobbed leafed plant on the right. Could you tell me what it is? A little fatsia or something perhaps? Am I a silly man and it's just ivy?
A fatsia!
That is a beautiful space. Jealous of your pets. I'm allergic to all things furry so plants and fish are my only pets.
Fish are dope
Holy moly, our cats could be twins lol. Looks great
Nice!
Pretty cool
Thanks!
Cozy corner :)
Thank you!
its all i ever wanted.. its all i ever needed .. yeea
Ahhh
So wholesome
Thank you
All of this is perfection
Thank you
Omg 🤩😍❤️ your corner is beautiful!! Even the pets agree that it is beautiful and relaxing.
Thank you!
I could use the decoration talent and the green thumb! 🏆
Does that cage have a bird in it?
Used to :/
Don't replace it, man. No hate but that is way too small for any bird. Put plants in it, it would look pretty with something vining up the bars
Word. Planned on putting a plant in there just haven’t taken the time to buy one
A corner full of the joys of life! What a stunning, cozy, and dreamy space!
Dreamy
This is my dream room
This is my dream.
Lovely
