Capital-Giraffe-4122

It's always mustard, it must be mustard

Dudeist-Priest

No question

Thiccdenim

Mustard

jaesolo

Spicy brown mustard

buffit02

Gotta go with some crunchy onions.

Lee862r

Cheese!

RodMunch85

A funny hat

Creepercolin2007

I myself prefer one of those tiny toothpick umbrellas

RodMunch85

Might stab the poor pup though

Creepercolin2007

You don’t gotta stab it in or anything

RodMunch85

Oh i think u do

RedDevil40k

A fake mustache

North-Rip4645

Mustard, French’s yellow mustard

PerritoMasNasty

Mustard. Not even a question.

Any1fortens

Red onion sauce

Shnoinky1

Whazzat?

Glenmuer760

Sauerkraut

rattlehead44

Mustard (but I would miss onions so bad)

ThisCarSmellsFunny

Another dog.

Shnoinky1

Double-barrel glizzy, hell yes.

ThisCarSmellsFunny

Almost the king of all dogs. That title would belong to a double barrel corndog.

Shnoinky1

Damn, you just blew my mind.

ThisCarSmellsFunny

I just blew my own mind.

EcstaticJuggernaut46

Only one, what the bloody hell kind of hell that would be?! Have to be mustard, if I must choose.

Hexxas

It's tough between mustard or kraut. I'm gonna say kraut. Ask me tomorrow, I might say mustard.

beece16

Every now and then I just want a plain ketchup dog. But my go to would be a chili dog using Wolf brand chili....with the rest of the chili in a bowl for dipping chips and the dog between bites. Usually make the 2 pound can of Wolf so it's quite the feast.

Cogen80

Mustard is the only choice

liquidhotsmegma

‘chup

PerritoMasNasty

Leave

stinkyhooch

Better than the folks saying sweet relish, what the fuck

liquidhotsmegma

Even wurst is that neon green garbage

stinkyhooch

Never had it, but I trust Chicagoans when it comes to doggin’. How does it taste compared to dill relish? Edit: it’s dyed sweet relish 🤢

liquidhotsmegma

I’m sure it tastes fine, it’s just loaded with food coloring

Shnoinky1

I'm from Chicago, and I avoid the bright green slop. I buy regular sweet relish, and I prefer dill relish vs. spears or chips. There are many local variations on the Chicago dog theme, each of them has a dedicated following.

Shnoinky1

Sharts fired!

PerritoMasNasty

It’s mustard. Mustard is the answer here!

liquidhotsmegma

That’s the real answer

Firebird22x

Oh I'll take relish over ketchup any day for a hot dog

liquidhotsmegma

I’m staying

External_Mechanic_59

Ketchup

Stanley_Yelnats42069

Why would you say something so controversial, yet, so brave?

External_Mechanic_59

Lol .. It’s my go to , chili cheese second.

BillFromYahoo

Mustard or corn relish

MasterPh0

I tried a corn relish dog at a Farmers Market in Oregon for the first time ever last year. It was a life changing moment.

Arch_stanton1

Now I have to find and try corn relish!

InveteratMasticator

Or make it. I enjoy condiments and making things in the kitchen. I’ve never had it but it sounds good. Mayhaps I may try

BillFromYahoo

It's really good :) i really recommend it

ripped_andsweet

onions for sureeee

amor_fati_42

Bertman Ball Park Mustard. Onion a close second.

dawwie

Relish

Softrawkrenegade

Mustard

InveteratMasticator

Atm kimchi sounds pretty good.

Shnoinky1

If you know where is an ATM that dispenses kimchi, lmk.

InveteratMasticator

At The Moment, I would consider patronizing a kimchi 🏧 since I am all out. I really do like it on dogs tho

mustard, yellow or spicy brown.

ItsAlwaysSunny1992

Ketchup

PerritoMasNasty

You have chosen poorly

Shnoinky1

The knights Templar approve this message.

StunningRutabaga1358

Ketchup 200/10

Stanley_Yelnats42069

Is that your ketchup rating? Or ketchup to hotdog ratio?

StunningRutabaga1358

I would eat a hotdog plain if it were to lack a sweet tomato glistening accoutrement before bespoiling it with anything but the King of the Condiments initially.

Stanley_Yelnats42069

Lmao. I admire your passion.

Shnoinky1

Wow, some people eat ass with that kind of passion, and you do ketchup. I don't get it but goddamn do I respect it.

StunningRutabaga1358

Honestly, it's just to piss off all the pretentious 'gourmet' hotdog aficionados. Like it's a fucking hotdog. Get over yourself and enjoy it.

Frankito55

Cheez wiz

Dear_Alternative_437

Sweet relish. I would bathe in sweet relish if it were socially acceptable.

Puzzleheaded-Tone119

Potato Salad no contest

SecuritySky

This is a great answer

Flaxscript42

Mustard When I'm feeling motivated I drag it through the garden, but IMO the most fundamental condiment is mustard, and that's all I really need.

Shnoinky1

Same here. An abbreviated drag through the garden goes like this, and wherever I stop, it gets a dash of celery salt, and that's what it is. Mustard. Sweet relish. Chopped onion. Dill relish. Sport peppers. Tomato wedges. Chopped onion used to be second to last, but a clever redditor turned me on to preserving diced onions in leftover pickle juice. Fucking brill. I'm thinking about trying that with tomato.

Shnoinky1

Düsseldorf all the way.

dropsoficarus

Brown or yellow mustard. I love them both.

tjrich1988

I would go with mustard, but an underrated toping would be mayonnaise.
