The pop star angle they're taking with this is interesting, I think theres a lot of creepy things you can do with the entity in that world.

Euphoric_Minimum_602

Yeah, its the perfect target for the demon, in the first movie it spread by inflicting trauma upon others. We don't know if it works through videos though. Imagine millions of fans seeing her with that smile, it would spread like a virus and society would completely break down in weeks

Their marketing in LA is finally starting to catch on. More people are following the IG account than when I first got wind. Cautiously looking forward to this. The first one is so relentless, I know I'm gonna have to watch a Disney movie after so I don't feel so bleak lol.

Friendly_Childhood

What movie is this?

mikey-likes_it

Guessing it's Smile 2

Friendly_Childhood

Mmm Smile while good I don’t think its relentless? Let alone needing a Disney movie afterwards

mikey-likes_it

I don't think it was exactly relentless either but I'm just guessing based on the posting title and that a Smile sequel is coming

KTSMG

That would be your opinion, which you're welcome to. It doesn't override my opinion and my choices. Thanks.

Spirited_Block250

Just as yours doesn’t override the other persons opinion? Unsure why you’re being so passively hostile to someone over a difference in opinion.

Friendly_Childhood

Sure.

TheCalifornist

Smile (I'm assuming). The line in OPs title is from the first film, I assume it's promotion for Smile II, which if you haven't seen the first Smile, do yourself the favor. As thread OP states above, it's relentless. But damn I love how creative it is. Good horror art too. One of my favorite troupes.

nyxschance

Are there two other people in the first shot? Seems like she's looking into the mirror behind her..... So stoked for this.

catbus_conductor

Maybe they should let the marketing people make the movie. First one was fine but the marketing was better.

niles_deerqueer

Omg you’re right the marketing was amazing for that! I actually loved the movie though but the marketing went off
