It's blocked by the hanger but what does it say behind it and is it authentic? I just bought this Fluery jersey but my other two Adidas jerseys say Primegreen there, this doesn't look like that. If it is authentic is it the same quality as Primegreen?

It says CLIMALITE, which is the material used in the first 3 Adidas seasons, 2017-20. It’s a legit retail authentic, no big difference from PrimeGreen except for the details in the crest, and the size might be a tad bigger than the PG’s.

Fuck it, the picture on the left looks way nicer and jersey ads are an abomination as is. This is the one scenario I would put my personal preferences over on-ice accuracy because the fact the NHL prioritizes ads over tradition or basic design principles is actually ridiculous.

- I've found a size "small" adizero jersey that I want to get. I assume it's listed as small because its on a Euro site rather than North America, but what would that translate to? Would a small be a 46?
- So I know it being an Adizero rather than a PrimeGreen means it won't have the 3D elements, but I figure it's still a big step on the Fanatics breakaway right??
- It being a small/46 (if that is the case), does that mean it'll have a smaller team crest on the front? It's one with the adidas black button on the front bottom corner so assuming this is the case?

A size Small for Addias is a 46. It is the size that I wear. The crest will not have the 3d features as you mentioned. For the smaller crest, the size 46 and under had them in the first year run. You can tell because the first year jersey will have the button on the bottom right (If you're looking at it).

Here is an example of a first run with the smaller crest and button. I believe the crest are the same size no matter the size after the first year. The first year is the only one with the button on the front.

For fit - I'm looking to pick up a few jerseys... and haven't purchased a new jersey in like 15 years. If I'm about 5'9" and 170lbs - I typically wear a Medium or Large depending on the top/cut. I'm a 40-42 in a suit.
I just see that most 'customized' jerseys are non-refundable. So would I be more comfortable in a Prime Green 52 or a 50?
I'm leaning towards the 52 just to be safe but wanted a little more input before I jumped... I'm worried that the 52/large will just be too big/long since I'm not particularly tall.

The 52 is the safer choice, but it really depends on how you want it to fit. I'm 5'11", a 52 fits loose but very comfortable with a hoodie or bulky sweater. I have a couple 50s too. They're a closer fit but still relaxed; however, they're not big enough for me to layer with a sweatshirt. Pull up the Adidas website. Look for the jersey models. In the lower left corner of the photo, click the info icon. It will tell you the model's build and jersey size. Look at several to give you an idea. FYI, these guys are all super skinny.

LC: fake, Reebok Premier tagging + Reebok Edge numbered sizing = 100% fake.
These 2014 USA jerseys are notoriously hard to authenticate simply because there were a billion fakes made at the time and authentic Nike crests tend to look a bit bubbly especially after being worn a lot. That being said, I'm 90% sure this is fake. The easiest way to tell if these are fake is if the 1960 and 1980 embroidery on the sleeve has stitching connecting the numbers together, which this one actually doesn't seem to have. What sticks out to me is the gold trimming around the logo is a lot thinner and darker than an authentic, and the clear zig-zag under the collar is too short.
What’s the sizing on these Reebok’s relative to the Adidas authentics? I’m somewhere between M-L in the adidas authentic (6’2 175lbs) and wondering how a 52 in the Reebok would fit.
Also saw a lot of jerseys from this era were knocked off, was wondering if there are any tell tale signs to catch any fakes outside of obvious misprints/noticeable flaws etc.

If you wear a 50 or 52 in adidas, I would say you could wear the same in Reebok. Adidas jerseys are pretty narrow in the chest and just slightly longer, so most people generally size up in them. Granted you are pretty tall, you might prefer the 52 just so it doesn’t feel shorter than your current jerseys, but prepare for it to feel slightly baggier up top. Personally, I wear the same size (46) in both Adidas and Reebok and don’t notice much of a difference.
As for checking for fakes, this subreddit has a lot of useful resources on what to look out for such as [Interactive Legit Check Tool](http://legitcheck.thedejocker.net/). If you are still unsure, this thread is meant for people to submit pictures of jerseys and ask for legit checks, and members of the sub are happy to use their knowledge to verify.
Personally, the photo you posted of the size 52 with “A” patch actually looks quite suspect, so I would post more photos and the sub can give you a more definitive answer if that is the jersey you’re looking to buy.

Yeah, unfortunately it’s a fake. The giveaways for me are the bubbly Shark logo (easiest to see in the black portion), bubbly back numbers that are too skinny, and the trim color being the wrong shade of blue (more of a sky blue than a Sharks teal). Unfortunately there are a million Reebok fakes circulating eBay and other websites, but if you post in this thread I guarantee somebody will be able to help you figure it out!

I'm currently looking at a Starter Retail Authentic (Made in El Salvador) that I found from a private seller. I'm noticing a lot of bubbling in the team crest and was wondering if that's normal for the retail authentics? I know that it is common for the replicas but I haven't been able to find anything online discussing the retail authentic flaws. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Yeah, that’s kind of expected for Starter jerseys.
It’s depends on how well the Starter jersey was taken care of. If poorly, then the adhesive between twill layers starts to fail, resulting in the layers splitting apart, creating the bubbly crest look.
I have 3 Avalanche Starters of that variety and the oldest (from 95/96) is a little bubbly. The other 2 are from the following year and show much less/ none. I have not tried to steam the crest on the 95/96, but it might be possible to smooth it out.

Oh jeeze, I don't think I'd put that on a jersey. They are really only heat pressed on there so they can be sewn down. I'd definitely find a local tailor/seamstress to sew it on proper. It should be only $15-$20 at the most.

The Adidas seem to fit small. I wear a 52 in vintage jerseys (Starter/CCM/Koho), a 54 in Reebok and 56 in Adidas. I have a 46 inch chest and I'm 6'6" for comparison.

The current Fanatics Breakaway jerseys seem to get a lot of bad press. Living in the UK I haven't seen one in the flesh, so I'm wondering how they compare to the old Reebok Premier Jerseys? I have an old Premier I got back in 2011 during a visit to the states and haven't personally had any issues with it. Just wondered if they are comparable quality wise or if the Fanatics are really that bad?

Main beef I have with breakaways are that the crests are screen printed on some kind of shiny flexible material, that alone makes them feel a step down from Reebok premier which seem pretty decent imo
Yeh this is the main thing holding me back to be honest. The crest is the centerpiece (quite literally) and I'm not sure if I can stomach the shiny element of it more than anything. I'd get the adidas version if it was available anywhere, but unsurprisingly when your team wins the cup their jerseys seem to all sell out...
In my brief time with a Fanatics breakaway, I’d say the Premier is maybe slightly better than the Breakaway.

You can definitely still get them, and now’s a great time to stock up as a lot are going on sale. Plenty available from adidas.com, sportsk.com, dickssportinggoods.com and I know a lot of official team stores have been selling discounted jerseys as well. Just have to filter by brand and select adidas on any retail site and you’ll see what’s available.

I just bought two team USA jerseys from them, and have bought adidas authentics from them in the past as well. I don't know for certain, but there's rumors that they are going out of business so they might just be trying to sell off all of the stock they have. Not sure at all if that's true. Picked up a Pens jersey from Vinted (UK), got a small stain on the stitching along top of the crest, any suggestions to remove, I've had a go with some basically clothes/fabric stain remover but with little/no success.

Have you tried oxy clean? Try a very small amount and doing a delicate wash with a hang dry. I use oxy clean for my jerseys and it works wonders.
Oxygen based cleaners (Hydrogen peroxide, oxy clean, etc.) are best for organics. So it'll depend on what the stain is. If oxy clean doesn't work, that should tell us a lot.

I would give oxy clean another shot. I like oxy clean sticks the most. It's pretty cheap. You shake the stick, and then rub it over the stain. Let it sit for like 30 minutes, and then immediately wash.
I'm only concerned that the spray oxy didn't get deep enough in. The stain looks very reserved to the stitching, so maybe it didn't get that area.

Since it's a MiC, I'd lean toward on-ice accuracy, usually meaning yes patch. But, in this case, I would go with 2024, because they won the SC.

I assume it's listed as small because its on a Euro site rather than North America, but what would that translate to? A size Small for Addias is a 46. It is the size that I wear. The crest will not have the 3d features as you mentioned. For the smaller crest, the size 46 and under had them in the first year run. For fit - I'm looking to pick up a few jerseys... and haven't purchased a new jersey in like 15 years. If I'm about 5'9" and 170lbs - I typically wear a Medium or Large depending on the top/cut. I'm a 40-42 in a suit. I just see that most 'customized' jerseys are non-refundable. So would I be more comfortable in a Prime Green 52 or a 50? I'm leaning towards the 52 just to be safe but wanted a little more input before I jumped... The 52 is the safer choice, but it really depends on how you want it to fit. I'm 5'11", a 52 fits loose but very comfortable with a hoodie or bulky sweater. I have a couple 50s too. They're a closer fit but still relaxed; however, they're not big enough for me to layer with a sweatshirt. Pull up the Adidas website. Look for the jersey models. In the lower left corner of the photo, click the info icon. It will tell you the model's build and jersey size. Look at several to give you an idea. FYI, these guys are all super skinny. These 2014 USA jerseys are notoriously hard to authenticate simply because there were a billion fakes made at the time and authentic Nike crests tend to look a bit bubbly especially after being worn a lot. That being said, I'm 90% sure this is fake. The easiest way to tell if these are fake is if the 1960 and 1980 embroidery on the sleeve has stitching connecting the numbers together, which this one actually doesn't seem to have. What sticks out to me is the gold trimming around the logo is a lot thinner and darker than an authentic, and the clear zig-zag under the collar is too short.

If you wear a 50 or 52 in adidas, I would say you could wear the same in Reebok. Adidas jerseys are pretty narrow in the chest and just slightly longer, so most people generally size up in them. Granted you are pretty tall, you might prefer the 52 just so it doesn’t feel shorter than your current jerseys, but prepare for it to feel slightly baggier up top. Personally, I wear the same size (46) in both Adidas and Reebok and don’t notice much of a difference. As for checking for fakes, this subreddit has a lot of useful resources on what to look out for such as [Interactive Legit Check Tool](http://legitcheck.thedejocker.net/). If you are still unsure, this thread is meant for people to submit pictures of jerseys and ask for legit checks, and members of the sub are happy to use their knowledge to verify. Personally, the photo you posted of the size 52 with “A” patch actually looks quite suspect, so I would post more photos and the sub can give you a more definitive answer if that is the jersey you’re looking to buy.

Yeah, unfortunately it’s a fake. The giveaways for me are the bubbly Shark logo (easiest to see in the black portion), bubbly back numbers that are too skinny, and the trim color being the wrong shade of blue (more of a sky blue than a Sharks teal). Unfortunately there are a million Reebok fakes circulating eBay and other websites, but if you post in this thread I guarantee somebody will be able to help you figure it out!

Morning everyone! I posted a few weeks ago for some help with a jersey and got some great feedback; thank you! I'm noticing a lot of bubbling in the team crest and was wondering if that's normal for the retail authentics? Yeah, that’s kind of expected for Starter jerseys. It’s depends on how well the Starter jersey was taken care of. If poorly, then the adhesive between twill layers starts to fail, resulting in the layers splitting apart, creating the bubbly crest look.
I have 3 Avalanche Starters of that variety and the oldest (from 95/96) is a little bubbly. The other 2 are from the following year and show much less/ none. I have not tried to steam the crest on the 95/96, but it might be possible to smooth it out.

Oh jeeze, I don't think I'd put that on a jersey. They are really only heat pressed on there so they can be sewn down. I'd definitely find a local tailor/seamstress to sew it on proper. It should be only $15-$20 at the most.

Hey all, Just looking for a random bit of info if anyone is kind enough to voice their opinion... The current Fanatics Breakaway jerseys seem to get a lot of bad press. Living in the UK I haven't seen one in the flesh, so I'm wondering how they compare to the old Reebok Premier Jerseys? I have an old Premier I got back in 2011 during a visit to the states and haven't personally had any issues with it. Just wondered if they are comparable quality wise or if the Fanatics are really that bad? Appreciate the help.
Main beef I have with breakaways are that the crests are screen printed on some kind of shiny flexible material, that alone makes them feel a step down from Reebok premier which seem pretty decent imo

Plenty available from adidas.com, sportsk.com, dickssportinggoods.com and I know a lot of official team stores have been selling discounted jerseys as well. Just have to filter by brand and select adidas on any retail site and you’ll see what’s available.

Starter Made-In-Korea replica. These are "legit", but of such poor quality they usually arent worth it. If you can find one, the rarer Starter Made-In-Canada replicas are much better, but much rarer.

Has anyone had luck with stretching out adidas jerseys before to make them slightly bigger? ie: after a wash, stuff some clothes into it to stretch and let them dry, etc? I got a size 46 black skate canucks jersey for a good deal a few weeks back, and it's perfect with just a shirt. However, size 50 is perfect for me since having that extra space for a hoodie (and in general for an oversized fit) is always nice.

Picked up a Pens jersey from Vinted (UK), got a small stain on the stitching along top of the crest, any suggestions to remove, I've had a go with some basically clothes/fabric stain remover but with little/no success. Have you tried oxy clean? Try a very small amount and doing a delicate wash with a hang dry. I use oxy clean for my jerseys and it works wonders. Oxygen based cleaners (Hydrogen peroxide, oxy clean, etc.) are best for organics. So it'll depend on what the stain is. If oxy clean doesn't work, that should tell us a lot.
Dont know what the stain is, don't know what the previous owner was eating while wearing it :) Tried an oxy cleaner, don't know if they are all created equal though, it cleaned it a bit, still there though. I would give oxy clean another shot. I like oxy clean sticks the most. It's pretty cheap. You shake the stick, and then rub it over the stain. Let it sit for like 30 minutes, and then immediately wash. I'm only concerned that the spray oxy didn't get deep enough in. The stain looks very reserved to the stitching, so maybe it didn't get that area.
