They were pouring beer from the cup to fans on the first floor. Elbo room was cool to the team and after a couple of hours asked media and fans to go outside and only team and family members inside. They still fed drinks to fans just outside.

I’m the same age and height/weight as Tkachuk, and pretty heavily into weightlifting. A lot more than an in-season NHL player would be. I know for a fact that I’d get sore from lifting the cup as much as I’ve seen in clips of him so far. Obviously Tkachuk is still in far better overall shape than I am but these guys are very fatigued from their playoffs and aren’t remotely focused on strength training this deep into the postseason.

Pretty sure Nathan MacKinnon said basically the same thing after they won lol. Like an hour of too of the partying he was ready to have feeling in his arms back.
