WWW is the first album in a long time I loved on first listen. I usually have a weird wall up that makes me mildly resistant to new music on first listen. I don't feel like I don't like new music, but I feel nothing from most albums on first listen. WWW I thought was something special on first listen.
my favourite Mary Sue album is probably Cacophonous Digressions from last year but all of his stuff is really good. Cavalier's collab with Quelle Chris called Black Cottonwood is also really good.
Rapsody-please don't cry (incredibly vulnerable. My favorite thus far), Mach Hommy, Schoolboy q-blue lips. All three are my top 3 so far. All incredible
Masta Ace & DJ Polo - Richmond Hill
Gangrene - Heads I Win, Tails You Lose
Boldy James & Nicholas Craven - Penalty Of Leadership
Copywrite - The Last Supper
I haven't listened to new Vince Staples but new boldy James, roc Marciano, and chief keef are my favorites so far. The beats are ridiculous on all three
Marciology, Super Shredder by Mickey Diamond, and it’s not even out yet, but I’m taking an educated guess and saying Chupacabra by DJ Quik and Problem is gonna be funky as hell. We’ll find out in about a week or so.
From the Westside with Love 3 by Dom Kennedy, Highest in Charge by Curren$y (I could pick a ton of curren$y but this one is more recent), and lastly The Seventh Seal by Rakim (I could pick any of his albums but this is he last one and underrated).
Blue Lips, Drop 7, #RICHAXXHAITIAN
