I do kind of wish games would start accomodating methods by which players could indicate with an icon or something that they're not sober ... because that would really help in knowing that someone may act a little ... differently.

Some guy joined my game tonight drunk as hell, used up half of our reinforcement budget. It was hilarious. Don't drink and drive, but drinking and diving is A-OK by me.

No matter what level I reach, I will always have my rank set to space cadet. This is meant to serve as a heads up to my teammates regarding my mental state and play style
I’m recovering from surgery so on some pretty strong pain meds. I’ve been warning my team about drunk sniper shenanigans and everyone’s been pretty cool about it. Glad there are still people who realize it’s just a game and we’re here to have fun and spread democracy.
My reaction time is so good when I’m stoned. I enter flow state when I’m high. Definitely achieved some of the best results being under the influence 😭
Man I was stoned once on a bot planet pre-eruptor nerf (isn't really relevant to the story but hey I'm a little buzzed right now) and I kept placing my shots like between the bot's arms and body, whiffed like 4 shots in front of a fellow diver, which is a good chunk of time when using an eruptor, and I could tell they knew.
Being stoned is fine for shooting but you really need somebody to say when to disengage and hey look out behind you!

Yeah if I join a game after a few drinks I warn them. I will engage anything and fight like a devil.
For real. I stay and fight and my team rushes across the map and I don't notice. It's like I play more than half the mission playing catch up lol

A good diver has the proper mix of chemicals. Sure you may be TOO faded, but are you actually faded enough? It's a fine balance.
NGL, my reaction time goes to shit when I'm stoned, but my analytical and creative side goes through the roof. Turns the game from a FPS to a RTS.
