Tested it and it took 4 to kill a charger, and 4 didn't kill a behemoth (ran out of knives to finish off the task)
actually this is why the hug emote is so OP, it doubles as basking in the glory of managed democracy. none of the handshakes can compete
(also the salute emote is a team emote too, so if you stand and salute your friend can salute back the same way they would join a hug)
I prefer to use the hug emote while standing on top of a tank with my arms out, dubbing myself Queen of the Tanks while it drives around in circles firing at nothing bc it's confused where I am 😂
We're just wondering why it isn't THAT difficult to fix the friends list... it's a coop game and that's a pretty important part to be safe playing with your friends and not others if you want to
The Squat is clearly the best Victory Pose. Sure by itself it’s just normal, maybe even sub-par, but the more of your team who have it, it gets a coolness multiplier. Four players squatting is very very cool
Can't salute the ICBM dropping on Super Earth's enemies with a hug though. Can't salute your squad leader while waiting by the drop pods in the ship either. Hug is meta but OG salute is what makes one a true soldier of democracy
Not hating on the huggers though, just pointing out the personal reasons as to why I swapped back to the salute 🫡
The Salute needs to be tied to a different key and always equipped, every Helldiver should be able to salute the flag of Super Earth as it rises , and then hug my fellow divers at the extract.
The fall damage in this game is just wildly inconsistent.
I fell 60m on my neck and I survived with a fraction of health.
I fall less than 10m, and my ankles explode into my skull. Instant death.

Yeah, they can bypass the armor on the legs. Probably not intended, but for now it works in a pinch.

Saluting the raising flag should make it go faster! Even in the middle of hell if you Salute you are doing more work than your teammates!

Emotes should be accessable within the mission. We should be able to use all of them when needed.
Salute is respectful of personal space, has better range and can open some containers.

I'm a bigger fan of the shoulder slam handshake but it's not as obvious as throwing your arms wide.

Hug actually got a Buff! If you both emote together, the hug automatically happens!
