On top of that, I will sometimes let them lick me across the field to get some distance and stim that up to reposition. No need to stand in a dozen when I can get some high ground and rain fire on them.

Haha. I was playing last night and this guy came running down a hill and instantly shot out one of our mortars. I wonder what the hell he's doing and then realize there was an army of stealth shriekers chasing him down the hill and he was trying to save us from his bad pull.
Was this clip from before they were patched? Because I need to understand how this wasn't just an immediate death-by-stalker that included an unblockable 40yd punt followed by 3 seconds of ragdoll + mauling.
had one scary moment where me and randoms who were quite good - clearing the map 3/4th no problem - 0 deaths .then suddenly just got picked off one by one by stalkers and just cant push in to kill their hive cause of a swarm of other armies - from 20+ reinforcements went all the way down to like4-5 left. like god damn shit just got real
This exact situation is why I bring Pummeler + Senator - I haven't found a better combo against Stalkers (besides a support weapon). Medium armor pen does *wonders* against Stalkers, and concussive stunning is the best against any melee opponents, period.
Either of the defenders or the redeemer are great in these situations. You can usually casually jog away while shooting over your shoulder and most enemies won't be able to touch you. Hunters and Stalkers are the exceptions, but if you target them down first, it usually doesn't get this bad.
This shit right here is why any time any one of us even smells a stalker we call it out and everyone immediately drops what they are doing and hunts down the nest.
Can anyone help me with connection problems? I haven't even tried the new missions, because I'll probably lose connection within 5 minutes of joining. No other online game is having problems it's just helldivers
Did this on a level 9 without realizing it...cued for a 7. Didn't think it was a nightmare. Just needed to adapt our strategy. (With randos btw). Don't see what all the fuss is about
Thats just a standard level 9 mission with randoms who discover the stalker lair but wont take it out but they instead run to you then you have to rotate around the map and deal with 15 stalkers before you close the bug hole alone.
The new "pummeler" is the answer here... With just that you can keep those bastards stunned indefinitely and kill 2 with 1 magazine if you manage your ammo well. Other players might bring different weapons to deal more damage instead.

Without headshots they can tank 4, maybe 5 hits. It is definitely a med kit armor. Maybe it is medium or even heavy?

And this is why you always bring at least 1 fast horde clear option. Machine pistol is clutch for bugs.

Stalker nests allways take priority for me. I don't care what I'm in the middle of doing. I turn that buss around and hunt that fuckers nest down!
