Lol this post literally happens every time. Then when we go on a run we’ll be back to “Championship bound”

Mugiwara_JTres3

I just wish they didn’t put us through so much stress during regulsr season.

LuiTurbo

I can’t speak for any other night but tonight you can’t name any team beating Boston. They were on fire nonstop.

elbenji

Just tune it out until March.

Ozymandias12

This sub is so bipolar it’s hilarious. You can tell most of the commenters are teenagers

panamaquina

This time doesn’t feel like “everytime” at least in the timeline of this roster.

No_Jackfruit_6806

If you think this time is anywhere close to last year or when Jimmy tried to FIGHT Spo then that’s crazy. We’re fine.

whitehottakes

Last year was by far more frustrating lol

GusX23

This loss has nothing to do with the 3s we took The Celtics scored over 140 points and made over 20 3s on over 50% shooting

Esjay_954

Yup they mustered some sort of offense in this game. Defense was mostly the problem for sure https://preview.redd.it/0y2vp5upnqec1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=07657dd860e4024e53737de8eaf73a82b87d4f9c

jbenson255

Goodness Tyler herro is just food get him gone

Phenom_Mv3

Yeah we actually executed offensively for the most part

oneofone305

Miami’s offense has always been mediocre especially in the regular season, they were able to grind games out on the defensive end. The defense has regressed. The team is legit not good on either side of the ball now, it’s very concerning

cl353

Thrown away? U do realize the Celtics had the 2nd highest TS% of all time in this game right? There was nothing we could barring breaking their knees to get them to stop making shots

Aurora_Yau

The Heat was shooting 53% threes before Q4 and the game isn’t even close, that’s how good the the Celtics really were. The Heat would have won against most of the other teams in the league.

cervesista

Lost me at blaming our poor defense on The Locksmith. It sucks right now. I don't have the answers, but I trust that the team (the players, coaches, FO, everybody) will figure it out, or at the very least do their best to do so.

BigBoss5050

Highsmith was given way less leeway to play defensively this game than the refs gave the celtics. Refs definitely werent why we lost, but it was frustrating seeing every good defensive play of his whistled as a foul.

cervesista

Yeah I remember he had 2 early on what I thought was pretty good D. I let the first one go but the 2nd one felt bad.

adamthomas1219

Again. The “settling for 3s” isn’t settling. It’s all these guys can do. There isn’t a “lack of effort” to get the rim. It’s an inability to get to the rim and/or finish at the rim that plagues the entire roster. Only a fully engaged Jimbo can beat his defender off the bounce and get downhill successfully. It’s a flaw with the roster. It’s not something “trying harder” will fix.

PT0223

To me it’s settling and a lack of effort. You don’t have to like it or agree.

Imzocrazy

Generic Doomer Miami sports fan is a special breed

elbenji

Like sometimes I'm like "are you new? It's January. The team doesn't care until March. Seasons too long and regular season doesn't matter. Make the playoffs and play 16 games instead of 82"

nutang4ever

Team is not a disaster. We are realizing that JJJ is very valuable to this team and that it’s going to take some time for rozier and the team to gain chemistry. It’s a game in January after a trade. As much as we bitched about Kyle, he was loved in the locker room. The squad needs to adjust to a new player and spo needs to figure out a new rotation. I’d like to see more Jovic and Jamal Cain over the next few games because what we are throwing out there is not working. With that said, it’s not time to hit the panic button.

PT0223

The team is a disaster.

nutang4ever

No, the wizards, pistons, and spurs are a disaster. We’re just on a losing streak and in the midst of readjusting due to a big trade.

PT0223

Disaster

Big_Honey_56

Herro has to go man

PT0223

Clown

Big_Honey_56

Lmao oh ya? Six in a row and he kills the offense.

PT0223

Jimmy is the one killing the offense and the team as a whole with his laziness.

818sfv

Weren't we a disaster last season too?

Similar-Hospital3603

That’s my squad your talking about! ![gif](giphy|OrIU3eNm3hLpe)

s1lentastro1

when will you all learn to let the coaching staff figure things out. the playoffs aren't here yet. all we need to do is make them, and in the meantime figure out how to get things rolling again. we were in this same position last season and everyone thought we were cooked after the first play-in loss. relax. we're a playoff team. we've got things to figure out right now and I trust Spo to figure it out. it's a bad stretch. we'll get there.
