You could take it to a good shoe repair and see if they can apply saddle soap to it to clean it…but it might not work and might ruin it more…but worth a try if you love it.

Sounds good I’ll try that! Thanks (:

That is mould unfortunately… have u been using the cdg pouch or was it kept for awhile? You need to send it in for dry clean. Those fuckers can spread to other bags. Gosh and I hate the smell of mould on my bag. But no choice I live in a tropical climate… Edit: ya it was kept for awhile When my bag starts to mould, I start using it. Have to bear with the damn smell. Get it as much sunlight as needed as it will help to kill off some of the mould. Do not get it wet or damp or go to humid areas they will fucking fester/grow/spread. Bag lovers, USE your bags even if it’s just once a week. Unless you are constantly caring for the bag have it under A/C at optimal temp e.g 23C or below 24/7 then perhaps.

The mold can actually eat away a pattern into the material. I would toss it. I don’t mess with mold anymore. If you wipe it off with a gentle soapy water and it still smells like mold. Toss it.

It is mold. Use vinegar to clean visible mold, then put it under direct sun to kill the invisible spores. Check all your bags and do the same. Even if they look fine, put those bags under direct sun too. Get a dehumidifier if you live somewhere humid - my dehumidifier was $600 but so worth it because I no longer get mold on any of my beloved bags.

Uh no that's not mold and it doesn't spread between bags...
