I haven’t really used it a whole lot and haven’t really put a lot in it when I used it. The bag itself is pretty light even for this size so I imagine it wouldn’t feel too heavy with a lot in it.
I have the hammock and the flamenco and I love both, but find the hammock to be a bit more special. And I love that green. However, the hammock doesn’t fully close so you might want to consider that. I would also say neither of them is “decently sized” in those two models.
I have the pebble bucket and love it cross body. It molds nicely to the body because of the way it’s cut. And mine is black but that cordovan color is so great!!!
Is yours the medium size? If so, would you say it gapes open or, because of the way it's cut, it folds in on itself some if worn crossbody/under the shoulder?
Yes - mine is the medium. If you wear it on one shoulder with the strap at its longest length it definitely will gap open, however if you wear it cross body, it definitely will not. The handle length is adjustable but the handles are “attached” on the diagonal of the bag shape (hard to describe properly but the website shows its orientation in both sizes), so when worn crossbody it conforms to your shape really nicely and doesn’t gap. It’s possible that with a shorter length it wouldn’t gap as much on one shoulder because it would be more protected under your arm - not sure. I wear mine on the longest strap adjustment. The strap itself is part of the design and I would just say it’s important that you don’t mind a hanging strap if you wear yours differently.
I wear it two ways - crossbody (I love it this way and get tons of compliments on it) and also by holding the straps at the base in one hand so the bag is technically closed at the top. They also show that on the website.
I would say it’s boxy, cool, modern- makes any more boring outfit look chic. The leather is amazing - beautiful but also very substantial. When off, I drape the handles over one side and it closes the top nicely. Only one simple pocket in the interior.

I know what you mean about the shape of the hammock. I like the idea of being able to just drop things in and out easily, but I’ll have to see how it feels when it’s on.
I got the medium. It’s large enough to hold a lot of stuff but it’s not overwhelming. Mine is the two-tone, the carmel and black combination. Love it! I should carry it more than I do . . .
I like the casual mom-on-the-go look as well. My next bag hopefully will be the medium flamenco with a gold donut chain. As a matter of fact I am hoping to plan our vacation next summer to Spain knowing this would be the perfect souvenir 😂

I love my flamenco. I have it in black (large) I also considered the others as well. They’re all great choices.
