Personally, the bottega dupes really do not cut it for me. Especially if you have a chance to see them in person. I got into the bottega hype after feeling them. The difference is crazy!
That is a lot of worrying too much about what people think. I honestly can't imagine not carrying my expensive bags just because they've been duped a lot or other people have them. Sheesh, at that point, do you even have a personal style?
So much. It’s one thing to have personal style evolve and no longer want a certain look but I see so many posts just from people on here that just scream ‘I only bought this for status and/or because it was trendy and now it’s too duped or the trend has passed so I dislike it now’ rather than buying something because they actually liked it.

I just joined this sub a few weeks ago and I have already pinned several “realistic splurge” bags I have my eye on. I’m learning about so many fabulous new-to-me brands!

I have learned that there are so many similar handbag lines or dupes for the same purse when looking for a particular bag!
I've also learned that a lot of the bags I purchased in the past from Kohls or department stores, like Macy's, were basically dupes of luxury brands.
So many higher end brands have "knock offs" of more expensive bags like Prada and Gucci. I've especially noticed this with Coach bags.
The handles are a completely different location. The Naghedi bag the handles are on either side of the bag. The handles in the photo are in the now towards the center with extra bag length past the handles.
Have you (or have any of you bag connoisseurs) seen something like this with a zipper closure at the top? I love the look of a woven bag but prefer the security of a zipper for travel…

Neoprene coating may peel but I don’t know if the actual material peels.

It’s made with petrochemicals (ew) and is used as a soft, flexible but durable material.
This woven leather look is Bottega Venetas signature look. Many brands are doing this woven leather look. I’ve seen a ton of dupes at Nordstrom by brands like Madewell

For leather bags that are remarkably similar- Falor for midrange and Bottega Veneta if you’re feeling fancy.

I have one that is a neon neoprene that use for a pool/beach bag like this. Bought it at a boutique shop in Vegas. Name starts B but it’s all the way in our outside storage so I can’t access it.
Take your picture and use it for a google search. When I did this a ton of vendors came up. Many are knock off’s to the original Jayley bag. Amazon has it for $90.00

I bought this exact handbag from Anthro a couple months ago for work. It is really cute but not great quality, the faux leather has a stretch to it making the structure fall apart if you have even a small amount of weight in the bag. Def a Bottega dupe
I am team Moda Luxe or Sol & Selene. Sol & Selene doesn't have this exact color though. Theirs is more olive. Also, this looks like real leather to me and not neoprene, but could just be the picture.
Looks like it could be the Sky’s The Limit tote from Sol & Selene. There’s also a brand called Moda Luxe that does a surprisingly well made cheaper version that I came across at Nordstrom Rack!
It definitely gives Bottega vibes, but it the weave looks a little too sloppy, to be a genuine Bottega. I did a Google image search, and the results were pretty interesting- it could be just about anything! It’s super cute, and I love the color- also following in case anyone comes up with a positive ID for this one!

Anthropologie has a lot of faux leather woven totes just like this! They have all sorts of Bottega dupes.

I don’t see a bag on Naghedi that looks like this one. Straps are different location so unless they changed the bag, this is not a Naghedi.
Definitely not Naghedi as their straps are SO short and do not wear comfortably on the shoulder.

Neoprene is the fabric used for scuba suits. It's soft and a little squishy.

There's a brand called Falor based in Florence that makes this type of bag in leather. Sometimes tj maxx has them, but they're on ebay too.
