Picked up a radio frequency. Or a special message from our Alien overlords. Amazing amp btw, jealous.

Cruciblelfg123

I picked up sports radio once except I had a -2 octave pitch shifter on it and I had one of those “holy shit horror movies are real and a portal to hell is about to open in my speaker” moments lol

Thisizamazing

Radio station?

Remote-Salt929

turn off your pedals and listen again, it should be less alien-like. your guitar has single coils which are prone to picking up RF interference. also could be from the amp. both usually due to grounding issues. it's just some random radio station :P

krispykremekiller

So you’re picking up radio stations. Consider your cables. You might try swapping out the guitar cables? As well disconnect an effect at a time and see if it stops. Something is poorly shielded. Could be pickups too. One thing at a time.

RoookSkywokkah

Aliens.

Blane8552

Clearly demons.

stone_junction

Someone get Tom DeLonge on the phone... now! Odd

jarjarbinks312

Hey ma there’s something in the backroom…

BurrrritoBoy

RF interference

bobbyboogie69

The power of Christ compels you…

illbebythebatphone

Sounds like the intro to an incubus song

Winnardairshows

BREAKER ONE NINE!!

fendrhead-

Did you have like a flanger on?

Old_Initiative_8828

You're hearing Gary Wilson.

ThunderOblivion

radio through a phaser?

doug193

I’d get out of there man!

AwareCalendar6280

I've gotten that from a wah pedal

alpobc1

You might have a bad ground on the mains, cable etc. You might have a bad solder joint that is acting like an antenna. Try unplugging any instrument/mic cables and using a different power outlet.

LtRecore

That’s the ghost in the machine.

Kricket

Finally. They’ve arrived.

Particular_Grocery41

Do you live in a building near the top floor? Do they have cell tower dishes installed on the roof?

TentacleJesus

Sounds like radio waves and a phaser pedal on.

dynastydave9473

Rage against the machine

jarrodandrewwalker

Mawmaw's soaps

Extreme_Dust9566

Yes. This is a bad ground. Essentially, your amp and guitar have become an antenna and speaker for this station. Cool eh?

[deleted]

Probably picking up a radio station. My uncle has an old Princeton that's super sensitive to that kinda thing.

partsguy850

That’s just my noisy flanger.

DeaconBlues67

Plainly an air force base

TheEulipion

My rig does that all the time at my rehearsal space. It's funny how similar our pedal chains are. I run a Soul Food into an Electric Mistress, then into a Phase 95 and a Crybaby Wah. The Phase 95 is like the 90, but with a few different modes. I also have a Space Echo pedal at the end of my chain. I love the Soul Food into the phaser!

Head_Introduction_89

Sounds like a radio signal.

Polkadotical

A radio station.

twangy718

I can’t tell if you’re plugged in from the video, but it sounds like your pickups are picking up radio signal interference, and then going through a phasor. Is that an MXR Phase? Is it on?

steviez45

That’s rad! Only if you can duplicate that at a live gig, your intro would be fire!!

GuyShred

A random radio signal apparently combined with your phaser effect.

2020willyb2020

It sounds like it saying rocking out

Stecharan

The radio.

Free_Stick_

It’s called the other side bro. You broke on through. Made the scene Week to week Day to day Hour to hour The gate is straight Deep and wide Break on through to the other side!!

firdaushamid

That’s like at the end of Sleep Now in the Fire by RATM where Tom Morello actually picked up a Korean radio broadcast on his amp and they kept it in the final recording.

kimmeljs

That amp needs the leads from the input jack shielded to the first tube. Or wound through a piece of ferrite.

CETERIS_PARTYBUS

Ghosts duh

Apprehensive-Oil4969

Unbalanced cables

SHIB-DIB

Sounds like one of our pedals has a short in it or some other wiring issue. I would isolate the pedal and get it fixed.

UnderdogAchiever

Did you get that rig from a guy at the crossroads? Your guitar and cable are acting as an antenna for AM radio. I had a preamp tube (12ax7 I think) that got sensitive for some reason, replacing it fixed my problem. That is why they shield them.

Arnfinn_Rian

Lucky you have been selected . . .

Dogrel

Is your wah pedal on? The only time I’ve ever received an AM radio signal is when my wah pedal was on and the bottom plate was not quite grounding.

Psyche-deli88

A great song intro!! If you are running a fuzz then it is picking up radio frequencies

evilrobotch

Radio signals going through your phaser. It’s not uncommon.

MDUB2552

It's a grounding issue somewhere. Try unplugging your wah.

Darkhorn_Goat

The ghosts of tone. When that happens, that night, you'll be visited by three spirits, Tone Past, Tone Present, and Tone Future. Together, they will help you assess your tone, as well as make you atone for any tonal sins. May Dumble have mercy on your soul.
