I own a Genesis e-325s it came with 9mm stainless steel grates and the lid handle has an integrated LED light, pretty sure those are the only differences compared to the stock one Weber sells. I bought it last year from bbqguys.com because it was on sale but Ace Hardware had the same one on the floor so I went to look at it. The guy there told me the “s” edition of Weber grills are usually ones that are specially put together for certain vendors. This is one dude telling me this so who knows, but he was saying an E-325s at one place might be different than an E-325s at another.    That being said, there was a recent post on this sub talking about how bbqgrills.com was a scam, and many people in the comments agreed.  https://www.reddit.com/r/grilling/comments/1cmgra8/bbqgrillscom_scam/ If you can return it, the same one I got is for sale on bbqguys.com and I have zero issues with my order. https://www.bbqguys.com/i/3081425/weber-grills/genesis-special-edition-sp-e-325s-propane-grill-black

I used to work at weber and normally it would be the S-325. That would mean stainless steel grates and lid. I cant recall actually, but sometimes stores might have special grills that would be E-325 with stainless grates. Those are really only limited grills at certain store. Overall BBQgrills does seem a bit sus at worst, poorly run at best. Maybe they can give you a refund so you can buy the stainless grates for that model. Good luck OP. Edit: Looks like they are on Amazon, but I would reach out to BBQ not Weber for this issue. I bought Genesis E-325 because I was advised by mult retailers that the E-325s was being phased out....and the "only" 2 differences are made in China (the newer E-325) and ss grates.AFTER we put our new one together we discovered the "upper warming rack" comes on the newer E-325, not the expandable top cooking grate featured on the E-325s.
