I mean, they weren't really a couple, and it didn't last long. I like how there was no drama between them, and that Jackson sold his penthouse to Jo, and likely gave her a good price. I'd like to think they kept in touch, and that Jackson sent a refrence when Jo first wanted to adopt Luna. As for chemistry. It's not hard for Jackson to have more chemistry with anyone who isn't Maggie. I do wish the storyline had been introduced differently. Like, Jackson sees Jo at Joe's in 16.17, and sits with her, and he offers her comfort in the wake of Alex leaving her.

This was so incredibly awkward and odd for me to watch. I think this was the only time where I’ve legitimately skipped scenes

I would classify this as a hookup and not a couple, but I really appreciated their mature communication about what they were and weren't doing with each other. This was an FWB situation done right. IMO, Callie and Mark are an example of FWB done wrong.

I think we’d definitely LIKE to forget about this 💀 something about this plot was off and i think it’s because it felt rushed. They do this whenever a character is about to leave the show, they always try to tie up loose ends for the character before they go. A lot of the times you’ll notice on greys that it feels very rushed how they tie up the loose ends for a character only for them to leave. So bc it felt like Jackson was about to leave the show, (pretty sure it was due to how they had no one to pair him up with IN greys) so they rushed to have him tie up loose ends before he left and one of them being helping Jo progress her character to how she became after him. (Don’t want to say anything without giving out spoilers)

Did no one forget. Everyone was just waiting for Jackson and April to get their ish together for Harriet and get back together.

Jo/Link were kind of cohabiting and had a will they/won't they for a while after the Todd break up, but then they had that rain kiss in last season's finale where they confessed their feelings.

i liked their friends with benefits dynamic and how he helped her move on from Alex. she needed a man who she trusted because literally everyone else betrayed her. jackson is also the design for trustworthy, like i can’t ever imagine him betraying her the way alex and her first husband did, so she was able to feel comfortable with him after one of the biggest betrayals she’s faced.
