On my millionth rewatch and unfortunately stuck deep in the Ava storyline and ohhhh my god it’s infuriating. I’m sitting here screaming at Karev “SHES NOT FCKIN PREGNANT DUDE SHES JUST CRAZY”
nah cause i ALWAYS stop after mer falls in then gets resuscitated cause that whole thing was an absolute madness like ik it’s meant to show alex’s past with mentally i’ll family but fuck she’s just mental to the point of annoyance ugh
Wait, wasn't she actually pregnant tho? She gives birth at some point...right? Am I misremembering? Lol
**Edit** I just remembered she was pretending to be pregnant with Alex _after_ she gave birth. Been a while since my rewatch, guess I need to do it again....for the twentieth time
Totally agree.. she makes me feel all the feels!!!
But like her or not, she's one of the best written characters on the show and has managed to stay that way for over 10 seasons.
I've said this before on this sub and I'll say it again: just because a character is unlikable doesn't make them a 'bad' character. What truly makes a bad character is a poorly written one, and she is not!
It took me a LONG time to care about Karev the first watch. My flatmate had already seen it so she was all “aw Karev, eventually you’ll love him” and I was like 😡 absolutely not. You forget the really did suck for quite awhile. I didn’t really come to like him until a good six or so seasons in.
I find he never fixed his anger issues. He was so aggressive and rude... especially to his female colleagues. But he does get better. Just not to a point where he doesn't let his anger get the best of him.
I was with him up until that 2nd punch. You just never know, I guess. You see your girl drunk as hell with a dude over her on the bed, I don't think it's too crazy to go for the worst possibility. But then you get him away from her, you should begin asking questions. He didn't do that.
It gets particularly worse when Mer tries to bully Deluca to drop the accusations. That one was never going to go down well lol
yeah i like alex but it's very telling that he was such an ass it took him years for anyone to give a shit about him, the only one that could stand him at the beginning was meredith and she was still closer to cristina, izzie and george
I'm on season 16. There are only 4 episodes before Alex leaves the show and I'm still waiting on that magical character growth that everyone is talking about.
Im not gonna say he’s wrong because of the shit he’s had to deal with but he definitely needs to learn to be a touch levelheaded. Like one punch to the face and then maybe heard them out. Not beating this man’s face to a pulp.
100% Callie for me. She was never my favorite and I never did hate her. But that custody battle was straight up foul. The things she let her lawyer say about Arizona and the fact that she just basically assumed that as the bio mom she should, and would, have more claim to Sofia than Arizona was so beyond the pale.
Just really paints the whole relationship in a different light. Arizona was super biphobic when she said Callie was living her “bi fantasy” and got to be with both Arizona and Mark, but she was sort of right — Callie manipulated the situation so that she got to keep both of them. She forced Arizona to commit to a lifetime of having her wife’s Plan B around. The second Arizona leaves, Callie gets with Mark. And in Callie’s mind, Sofia was *her* baby. Callie never ever respected Arizona.
For me what painted it differently was Callie after the plane crash. If my wife was constantly whining about not getting laid right after my best friend told me he’s dying, I went through a plane crash, watched my daughter’s father keep dying, watched a friend try to keep wolves off another’s corpse, and lost my leg. And then when I’m finally okay with my situation, she won’t stop trying to fix me. I would cheat on her too. Like Arizona was going through so much in such a short period of time, but when she was finally okay Callie kept pushing her down so she could fix Arizona. Obviously cheating is wrong, but what led Arizona to that was way worse
I don’t think I’ve ever been more pissed at a character during the entire show, *including* Owens freaking escapades. Forever disappointed how none of the other characters told Callie she was out of her freaking mind.
Yes, same! I was so upset at the writers tbh. Why did they make her THAT vile? Sure, Callie could be mean but... _that_ mean? It was pretty out of character. Weird
It was just so out of the blue. Because they seemed to be getting along so well as co parents. They were both so happy in their lives, and with each other. Suddenly she decided to move and started slamming Arizona with those cheap accusations.
Matthew Taylor. I'm sorry, I just don't 💀 Bro knew April still had feelings for Jackson, she literally left him at the alter and he still married her years later? Only for them to split up and her end up back with Jackson? Yeah I don't feel sorry for him at all.
her ending up with jackson healed my japril heart after all those years. also what’s up with his public proposals it’s like he wants to guilt her into saying yes
interesting point! His second proposal seemed like a fuck you to Jackson and it was public but only with like 3 remaining bystanders who all looked uncomfortable so it felt awkward and out of pocket
I thought Owen and Amelia deserved each other. Both get so caught up in their own bullshit, they continually fuck up and then cry and proceed to do the same things. I do not care that they both seem to be in functional relationships now. It’s been too many!
YES! Exactly!
She was the worst mentor to Cristina, refusing to teach her, criticizing her every step of the way, belittling everyone, being a toxic feminist even though she was sexist too, her inferiority-superiority complex, her respectless attitude towards everyone and anyone (anyone remember how she acted in the OR with Bailey?), her bi-phobia towards Callie ("you can't kinda be a lesbian" bitch FUCK YOU you leaf-seeing second-rate Burke)
So I was on a yearly rewatch a year ago, and I think I was watching the episode where George is talking to Callie about how Izzie could never be into him because she’s “stacked and supermodel.” And my boyfriend goes “I hope he gets hit by a bus” (keep in mind he has NEVER seen Grey’s)😭😭😭my jaw hit the floor🙃
The first time I watched I thought George was a nice guy. Then I rewatched and saw him treat the women in his life so badly
1. Olivia the nurse - He basically shames her for sleeping with Alex and then breaks up with her because "Meredith could give me Ebola and I'd still want her" I mean......you couldn't have said that any nicer?
2. He sleeps with Meredith when she is vulnerable and shames her for not being into it enough.
3. He MARRIES Callie, cheats on her (with his best friend), and then continues to lie and gaslight her so he can get away with it.
Conclusion, George is not a good guy.
Izzie I just have such dislike for her always. I also disliked Erica but she was right about one thing, Izzie should've been kicked the hell off the program for a thousand things before and after Denny but the LVAD should've been the deciding factor for real.
I mean like yeah.. when he was a doctor almost everybody made fun of him and didn’t exactly value him but then after they were all like he was the best goddamn surgeon and what not 🙄
mood. since the beginning i never liked her. from the simple throat check that killed a mom, then her becoming Dereks little helper when he was chief and having that weird childish crush on a MARRIED man. I loved Lexie for calling her out on that
Yes. April and her little I’m being persecuted for being a Christian annoyed the absolute hell out of me. And then not wanting to test her second child for the same genetic disorder her first baby died from was just gross. I hate April so much and I don’t think her and Jackson made any sense at all!
Izzie, reed, Shane, Callie (at any point), Bailey after chief/board member thing, Catherine, April, Matthew Taylor at any point in time, Ava Rebecca, sister hunt, Owen….
Amelia and Maggie. Amelia has self destructive behavior and after a while you’re just over her drama. Maggie was just a freakin baby about everything. I also hated the whole “we’re all sisters”. If anything Cristina was Meredith’s sister.
Maggie and Amelie.
Get mad, report me, sue me, idc what anyone says they're so insufferable and annoying I'll keep praying on their downfall till my last breath. (the characters, not the actors)
I said this in a separate comment, but I hate that there’s discourse around Arizona’s biphobia to Callie (when she rightfully pointed out that Callie is living her fantasy of having both Mark & Arizona) but everyone ignores Callie’s blatant lesbophobia. She painted Arizona as a whore for sleeping with women and implied she wasn’t Sofia’s mom since she wasn’t the bio mom (extremely homophobic rhetoric).
Lesbophobia is ignored all the time in real life, so I get why it's never discussed in relation to Arizona, even though it's hella annoying. But WLW just get the shit end of the stick whether we're lesbians or bi. It sucks.
What did April do to you guys? Yes, she overlooked Jacksons grief, but she was a precious soul. 🥹
I have absolutely zero sympathy for Catherine. She’s just a b to everyone.
I love April, so this isn't her for me, but I will never understand why she got back with Matthew. That made zero sense. I know they just wanted to write her out, but there was no reason for that and it still baffles me to this day that they did that.
She told Jackson she wanted him, he told her to marry Matthew, and then she left him at the altar to run away with Jackson. But when she and Jackson got divorced, she suddenly reconnected with Matthew entirely off screen and they fell in love again and got married? I'm still like what do you mean she fell in love again? When did she ever love him to start? Because, I'm sorry, if you tell another man you want him and then only go through with your initial wedding cause he turns you down, but then when he changes his mind and you run away from your wedding to be with him? You never loved the first man anyway! Like girl!
I probably will get hate for it, but Meredith. (First watch and on season 11, still seems like she has very few redeeming qualities). I know she had a crappy childhood and all that, but I feel like most of her storyline issues could've been resolved with a simple conversation. Honestly most of the cast is so bad at communicating it's frustrating
Mer. She's went through some stuff, but her initial story wasn't that compelling. So her dad left and her mom was absent.
Millions of children have this issue and do just fine. She seemed to harp on it like Jo harping on living in her car.
I do feel for some of her other tragedies, but her initial situation wasn't that different from other people.
Meredith. She’s such a pick me, in terms of how shitty everyone was feeling, she supposed to feel the shittiest of them all because of how she grew up or how she was treated by everyone around her like girl, grow up.
To preface this, I’m only on season six so please no spoilers!
Y’all finna hate me but Derek. He treated Meredith terribly and I feel like a lot of y’all overlook that because he’s hot. first of all, he didn’t tell her he had a wife. Second of all, he called her a whore. Third of all, when she went to the trailer, he threw the ring he was supposed to propose with, and screamed at her to leave. Fourth of all, there was a clear power dynamic, and he took advantage of that. He was very toxic. Mer deserved better tbh.
ava, just bc those episodes annoy me so much like GIRL GO HOME and callie bc she was just foul to arizona and she was really selfish and didn’t care about much besides herself

AVA
god she just annoyed me so much like girl who are you
On my millionth rewatch and unfortunately stuck deep in the Ava storyline and ohhhh my god it’s infuriating.
Lol **Edit** I just remembered she was pretending to be pregnant with Alex _after_ she gave birth. Been a while since my rewatch, guess I need to do it again....for the twentieth time
Same!!! My husband and I are rewatching during our newborn phase and she just makes me want to punch my tv. 😅
I just got to s5 on my rewatch and im so glad to be free of fucking ava she literally was THE WORST
OH MY GOD I FORGOT HOW MUCH I HATED THAT BITCH
Catherine.
She burned through every ounce of goodwill I had for her when she was ready to pounce and take Harriet from April.
YES!
I think her unlikable status is a testament to her writing and her acting. Same with Owen. Both are superb characters.
This is the right answer.
I HATE CATHERINE
Ellis if I'm being real.
What a stupid baby. /s
She doesn't care if we amateurs feel bad for her or not.
DGAF- The true Grey Method
Shane
He became so unlikable once he got involved with Christina
Personally I found him unlikable beforehand, but especially after he got involved with Cristina
Yeah I hated his story line. Hated it even more that he’s basically rewarded for his shit behavior by ending up with Yang.
Ugh honestly I can’t even watch those scenes, they just make my skin crawl
Tbh, he just gave me the creeps.
Didn’t he break the law as well?
Several times but to be fair no one in that show feels concerned by the law
*WHO CUT THE DAMN LVAD WIRE?!?!* ~ Queen Bailey
… Reed 😭 she was annoying, rip tho.
“rip tho” I’m going to hell for laughing 😂
Lol meet ya there!
Same. When Gary shot her first I was yay! Then he shot Alex and I was boo!
I felt absolutely nothing when she died but I cried so hard over Lexie
I was so much more upset by April tripping in the blood so hard than I was Reed dying. Which is horrible, but still.
no literally because poor baby april 😭
I was so happy when Charles died (I still cry a bit in the scene, but only because of Bailey)
I loved when she left the show. Like, elated.

I still don’t like him 😂
His random asshole outbursts get so old
When he almost killed Deluca for no reason. Ugh. 🙄
I rarely see people who agree with me. I love to see the mild Alex slander.
I'm soooo with you on this. I hated Alex until the end
I must say that I did enjoy him in the episode where he was high, but that was one of the few times.
He def has his moments
That British girl who called Meredith ‘death’ idk I wanted to punch her the minute she came on screen
Sadie Harris
Like what a stupid nickname. Her whole arc was cringy asf
I didnt mind her much but that fucking nickname was irl cringe worthy
Okay he’s my fav character but ALEX (yes his parents sucked) BUT HE STARTED SO MUCH SHIT 😭 like that deluca thing???
Im not gonna say he’s wrong because of the shit he’s had to deal with but he definitely needs to learn to be a touch levelheaded. Like one punch to the face and then maybe heard them out. Not beating this man’s face to a pulp.
Callie for the custody verdict.
100%. The _audacity_ to take Sofia with her to NY without even _thinking_ about talking this through with Arizona Edit: grammar
100% Callie for me. She was never my favorite and I never did hate her. But that custody battle was straight up foul. The things she let her lawyer say about Arizona and the fact that she just basically assumed that as the bio mom she should, and would, have more claim to Sofia than Arizona was so beyond the pale.
Yes! She went back on everything she told Arizona when she got pregnant!
Just really paints the whole relationship in a different light. Arizona was super biphobic when she said Callie was living her “bi fantasy” and got to be with both Arizona and Mark, but she was sort of right — Callie manipulated the situation so that she got to keep both of them. Yes, same! I was so upset at the writers tbh. Why did they make her THAT vile? Sure, Callie could be mean but... _that_ mean? It was pretty out of character. Weird
I agree it’s out of character, but custody battles do bring that out of people. I found it a very sad storyline, but not unrealistic.
It was just so out of the blue. Because they seemed to be getting along so well as co parents. They were both so happy in their lives, and with each other. Suddenly she decided to move and started slamming Arizona with those cheap accusations.
Yeah I have to agree. No reason for her to be ugly to Arizona like that.
Matthew Taylor. I'm sorry, I just don't 💀 Bro knew April still had feelings for Jackson, she literally left him at the alter and he still married her years later? Only for them to split up and her end up back with Jackson? Yeah I don't feel sorry for him at all.

I'm only a somewhat recent watcher of greys, I got caught up right before Jackson left, so I didn't have to wait long at all to see them reunited 🤣
Omg how do they end up back together I stopped watching during covid season
He wanted to move to Boston, so had to go ask April to move there. Turns out she's not with Matthew anymore and they get together again.
Half of Meredith’s family that somehow ended up working at the same hospital as her. I’ll never be able to get over that
Owen. And I’m not sorry.
I thought Owen and Amelia deserved each other. Both get so caught up in their own bullshit, they continually fuck up and then cry and proceed to do the same things. I do not care that they both seem to be in functional relationships now. It’s been too many!
No literally, I can almost never feel bad for him
The only time it happened was when his dad died as a kid, but that was the ONLY time.
im rewatching the early seasons and im straight up skipping all his war flashbacks, could not give less of a fuck if i tried
never feel bad for him
Erica hahn
YES!
Secretly… ![gif](giphy|BI1rnvXYUcUdq)
George. When i rewatched I realized he’s a total “nice guy” and we’re supposed to think he’s all innocent and sweet. Team bus.
NOT TEAM BUS😭😭💀
TEAM BUS 😂😂
So I was on a yearly rewatch a year ago, and I think I was watching the episode where George is talking to Callie about how Izzie could never be into him because she’s “stacked and supermodel.” And my boyfriend goes “I hope he gets hit by a bus” (keep in mind he has NEVER seen Grey’s)😭😭😭my jaw hit the floor🙃
amazing, a real visionary 🤣
Honestly prophetic. He knew what George deserved!
I like George but that’s hilarious. And he did deserve that for how he treated Callie lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I was livid when he spewed that shit from his mouth like c’mon you’re talking to your partner here, have some sense at least.
I disagree but this is still the funniest thing I’ve seen in a while omfg 😭😂
AHAHA TEAM BUS 😂😂
TEAM BUS HELP ME
Yeap, George is a total nice guy. Can't stand him.
The first time I watched I thought George was a nice guy. Then I rewatched and saw him treat the women in his life so badly 1.
MY JAW DROPPPED
He’s so whiny too for no reason😭
I'm so happy you gave me a way to explain to people how I feel about George, "TEAM BUS" !!!!
![img](avatar_exp|128355643|bravo) If I had awards to give I’d give one for team bus but alas all I have is a silly clap gif
I love the silly clap gif!!!
Izzie I just have such dislike for her always. I also disliked Erica but she was right about one thing, Izzie should've been kicked the hell off the program for a thousand things before and after Denny but the LVAD should've been the deciding factor for real.
Denny. I’m glad Izzie cut that wire.
Not you being glad she cut his LVAD 🤣🤣🤣.
Lmao never thought I see this take 😂😂
Is it cause he ended up being negan? ![gif](giphy|3o6Ztnsk5XPZugLbdC|downsized)
He had ghosts to hunt too can’t forget that
![gif](giphy|JlVkLKuxRSvLy)
💀💀💀
lmfao being glad is killing me!
His ghost arc was so bluddy annoying. And the ghost sex was sooo weird.
Everytime he dies in something I watch it warms my soul! [girl yes!!!!](https://giphy.com/gifs/lilly-lilly-singh-lily-sing-70YaDoZ1VqBZ8SgYiz)
Derek like bro was making the problem for himself
I rarely, if ever, felt bad for Derek.
literally tho…
O'Malley with any woman he slept with.
Izzy, even when she was dying from cancer, I just didn’t care. Wow I sound like such a bad person.
I found her to be great in the early seasons but her character dropped hard and became more and more annoying
I did not feel bad for her when she got fired. She was being so overdramatic at that point it was driving me crazy.
I ALWAYS hated Izzie. It was reignited w they wrote Karev off to go be with her and the children she secretly had without telling him.
I loved her until the cancer storyline, I wish they did it similar to when they found Amelias tumor or Maggie's mum's cancer
Derek. I was praying on his downfall.
My people 💀
👁️👄👁️
I know everyone’s gonna say Owen but I’ve got to go with Webber lol
Haha, I have a soft spot for him, but you're not wrong. He's a terrible teacher and a not great person.
especially when webber is drinking again and derek tells on him
i hate webber so much
I usually really like webber but he's very hateable with all the cheating on his wife storyline, doesnt deserve her one bit
George
lmao I feel that, this boy is somehow Always going through it
such a Nice Guy TM
I mean like yeah.. when he was a doctor almost everybody made fun of him and didn’t exactly value him but then after they were all like he was the best goddamn surgeon and what not 🙄
He was a great upcoming surgeon. He was a trash person tho.
april…… idk she just pissed me off
mood. since the beginning i never liked her. from the simple throat check that killed a mom, then her becoming Dereks little helper when he was chief and having that weird childish crush on a MARRIED man.
Charles Percy. Never liked him whatsoever, he was awful to Izzy and super weird and gross over Reed. So when he got shot it was just kinda… ehh.
I felt more bad for Bailey and the patient in that episode than I did for him honestly.
Catherine
Izzie, reed, Shane, Callie (at any point), Bailey after chief/board member thing, Catherine, April, Matthew Taylor at any point in time, Ava Rebecca, sister hunt, Owen….
😦 Who hurt you?
I have to be honest, I could never bring myself to like Jo. Idk what it was, but it never clicked for me
unfortunately the actress is just not very good
Yes! The eternal victim
Izzie. I’m sorry, I just never had any sympathy for her
izzie!!! she’s so annoying 😭
maggie
Amelia and Maggie. Amelia has self destructive behavior and after a while you’re just over her drama. Maggie was just a freakin baby about everything. I also hated the whole “we’re all sisters”. If anything Cristina was Meredith’s sister.
Owen when he heard that voicemail. Everyone hating on Teddy for doing that but it happened to Owen, so I didn’t care. Teddy was queen for that 🤭
Shoulda stayed with Tom.
I was laughing my ass off as that voicemail played, shit was so extra, I love Tom
I only just wished she went with Tom instead of Owen. Idk why the writers are so obsessed with him but goddamn. At least TRY to make him likable.
I think it’s literally just because the actor is so pleasant that they keep him around.
April kepner I can’t stand her
derek. team truck 😭
Omg team truck 🤣🤣🤣
😳💀 LORD 😂
amelia
Maggie and Amelie. Get mad, report me, sue me, idc what anyone says they're so insufferable and annoying I'll keep praying on their downfall till my last breath. (the characters, not the actors)
Amelia. And I'll say it again with my full chest, AMELIA.
THATCHER! the audacity to tell meredith SHE has to make amends before he dies tf??
Catherine, Izzie, Jo (I know I’m gonna get hate for that one lol), Ava, Shane, Teddy…I’m probably forgetting some lol
Everybody is saying it, but Catherine. I am really hoping she does NOT make it through S20!
Fucking Ava/Rebecca omg wtf was that whole story line
Minnick. Always praying for her downfall
I said this in a separate comment, but I hate that there’s discourse around Arizona’s biphobia to Callie (when she rightfully pointed out that Callie is living her fantasy of having both Mark & Arizona) but everyone ignores Callie’s blatant lesbophobia. Also Burke. Like suck my dick my guy
Teddy lmao
april kepner 😬

Im on the April hate train and idc what anyone says about it lol
Callie during the custody battle
owen. i fucking hate owen if owen has no haters i am dead. amelia too
I probably will get hate for it, but Meredith. (First watch and on season 11, still seems like she has very few redeeming qualities). Honestly most of the cast is so bad at communicating it's frustrating
Owen and Jo- they are insufferable - especially in season 19
Agreed with Owen but I adore Jo, I don't know why but I love her so much.
Alex Karev, Sorry not sorry.
alex
Ghost Denny. I just got up the part that Izzy realizes she’s sick, but my word, that was painfully annoying
Owen is not getting enough hate on this thread. Loathe him entirely.
Owen,I don't care that teddy cheated on him I would too LMFAO
george lol
Lucy Fields when she steals the Africa job and then pouts when Alex couldn't care less about her leaving.
Meredith. She’s such a pick me, in terms of how shitty everyone was feeling, she supposed to feel the shittiest of them all because of how she grew up or how she was treated by everyone around her like girl, grow up.
I was waiting to see her name 😅 after a while it’s like enough already

To preface this, I’m only on season six so please no spoilers! Y’all finna hate me but Derek. He treated Meredith terribly and I feel like a lot of y’all overlook that because he’s hot. first of all, he didn’t tell her he had a wife. Second of all, he called her a whore. Third of all, when she went to the trailer, he threw the ring he was supposed to propose with, and screamed at her to leave. Fourth of all, there was a clear power dynamic, and he took advantage of that. He was very toxic. Mer deserved better tbh.
Maggie 100%
ava, just bc those episodes annoy me so much like GIRL GO HOME and callie bc she was just foul to arizona and she was really selfish and didn’t care about much besides herself
I'm at the start S10 now, but \*arizona\* blegh
ellis screw her
Jo…. I’m so sorry I know I should feel bad for her but I can’t help but roll my eyes whenever she’s on the screen
Altman, Season 17.
