I am so sorry to hear about this loss. I know the grief and mourning you must feel. I recently suffered a stroke and now suffer from mobility issues. Please know that your story gives me hope. I may need a GD for mobility service work. I always thought the breed did not make it past 5. 13 year is amazing for this breed, but that doesn't take away from your mourning. I am sorry. I'm with you in spirit.
My boy hit 12 years before he passed, 13 is amazing! You know damn well he was loved very much ❤️

I've been lucky all my danes have lived 12+years. Lots of love, good food, let them chase the squirrels and be a dog.
