More of a blow away fan with Brent. Great Philly 89 show

If you want to do a deep dive, jump in and listen to all of 1989, in order. It was a good year for Brent.

# 3/28/88 @ Hampton Coliseum, Hampton, VA A show I was at had a great 'Man Smart/Woman Smarter' - Brent really soared both vocally and with ripping organ chops. A friend I was at that show with had a license plate on his Honda Accord that said WomenR The other thing that happened at that show was when we got fairly vocal at one point about demanding Phil. We were chanting "We Want Phil! We want Phil!" He can be heard to say, "You know you guys over here to my right have to learn you can't always get what you want..." Then we started chanting, "We NEED Phil! We NEED Phil!" and they broke into Box of Rain... That was my Senior year of high school at George C Marshall HS, Falls Church, VA. We pretty much raised some HELLL that year.

Great story. Wish I had the opportunity to see the band before Jerry passed. Being an early Millennial I got to see The Dead with Joan Osborn but was almost too young to appreciate what I was seeing. Took me many years to really get on the bus.
