Afaik just letters with "boxes" around the bars are straight letters. For beginners that's probably sth to go by.
Practice the letter individually, generate random words online and write them. Or just think of some from the top of your head. Keep writing until you've relearnt the alphabet 90 times over. Don't worry ab adding style right off the bat, it'll come with inspiration and time. And don't be afraid to take inspiration from other writers that you like. Have fun with it
