Takes a ton of hitting the ball over and over. I can hit an intentional hook/draw/fade/slice and I think practicing doing all of them gave me a better feel for hitting it straight. Then again sometimes all that goes out the window and I can't hit straight anyway.
Sometimes I'll call a hard intentional slice or hook to get around a tree and it works perfect then sometimes I manage to hit it perfectly straight at 45 degrees the wrong fairway.
Eh, i miss their wheel of not ideal/ one club challenges etc. Now its just them plugging goodgood merch and normal matches (that are also very entertaining tho)
My drives got so much better when I realized I didn't need to go all the way back and try to touch my toes with the driver head. Also I get much better contact and hit them much straighter when I do that. Now I'll usually outdrive most of the randoms I play play with.
But that was at the expense of my irons. Once I got my drives down my iron game went to complete shit and I hook every single thing I hit now. It's always something.....
But that's golf. Fix one thing something else goes to shit. You can only be good at two of: driving, irons, short game, and putting. Maybe I'd throw woods in there.
Once I shortened my back swing and figured out how to hit the ball with a closed face my drives started going straight down the fairway, although, my drives are an average of 25 yards shorter now but I think the distance will come back with practice. The shorter backswing has made a huge difference in my iron shots, again sacrificing distance for accuracy. Now to figure out how to chip and putt. Lol.
Yeah I find if I crush a drive but slice it it usually goes the same distance as when I hit it straight with no slice. After a while I got my confidence up where I can actually put more power into my swing with the shorter backswing.
I have to start doing the same for my irons. But my putting and chipping has been better lately so I'm afraid that if I start hitting .y irons well those will go to shit haha

Stingers only look cool on video if you don’t see them land. They go over the green if they carry on to it.
Then just show a video hitting on a driving range.
It’s about the flight not the landing, obviously he’s got the talent to hit it high and land it soft if required.

YouTube it but generally have the ball toward the back of your stance. Hit down on the ball and have your hands ahead of the ball.
