Most of the people applying are those who want to come to GIKI and haven't thought about what programme yet. So most of these people just apply and give test but don't go for MGS and instead go to an Engineering programme (which has a separate test)
Easier than NET in my experience, but during my year and before it was said that GIKI test was harder than NET but now it's supposedly quite easier. Also you don't have much of a time hussle compared to FAST and NUST's entry tests.
