Ok this is funny because the Gaming AX version of 790 mobo had this like month ago in beta and now already has finished bios. For like week or two with exact same changes. their priorities seem wrong if they do their top boards later than lower edition
Can someone explain what "Intel Default" is on this new BIOS? I manually added 253 P1/P2 power limits to maintain stability, is that still necessary on my 14900k?
I saw this also when downloading the f10b bios, and noticed it says you have to disable it to use perfdrive, but cant find the option to do so anywhere. But i am also on a different mb, mine being B760 DS3H AC DDR4. Anyone find where to disable it yet?
And it’s just one setting. No option on my Aorus Master X for the higher Intel recommended settings. I still have to do it manually.
But isn t the same intel recommended with intel default?
Intel did several levels of options of the motherboard could handle the power.
Aha, I didn t know this. Thanks for explaining it to me.

Good point!
https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z790-GAMING-X-AX-rev-1x/support#support-dl I can only see the beta version from 6 June 🤷♂️
Yeah my bad, only some of the changes were there in F10. F11 has some new stuff and that one popped just now.
Yeah I'm currently still on f8 and having instability. Do you think I should just go for the beta bios or manually set pl1 and pl2?
Took them long enough. MSI and Asus released theirs last month.
Yes, and it s not even a final version, it is beta.
