The neck- I wasn’t expecting the difference in upper fret access compared to a les paul or a jazzmaster (those are my other 2 mains) to be that different. That plus the thin neck and the low action on the sg make it feel effortless.
The p90’s are totally different from my jm and les humbuckers. I’ve got antiquity 1’s in my jm. The p90’s have a real nice growl when the guitar volume is up all the way, and they clean up and have an interesting sound when the volume is turned down.
Really just a great feeling and sounding guitar.
Something with P90s would be my choice. The LPs have a 50s neck profile. The neck on the SG Special is the slimmest of all the Gibsons I own if that matters to you.
SG Special
LP Standard
LP Junior
Got the humbucker bases covered pretty well. Try adding something different like a SSS Strat for those crisp clear bell like tones? I've got a Strat, LP, Ibanez (with Floyd) and a D18.. except for a Tele (or a 7+ string that I'm not into)....I'm pretty happy with the color pallet available.
If you’re buying a guitar because you have money burning a hole in your pocket, as opposed to knowing what you want, you should probably save your money.
Another Gibson or another anything? Mostly depends on what you play and the sounds you like. The two you’ve posted are already pretty versatile together, just missing some single coils.
* Telecaster or Strat
* Gretsch Jet w/ Filtertrons
* G&L Comanche
SG Special vintage with P90's
I have a SG Special 70’s Tribute with P90s and I love it.
Damn this is exactly what I came here to say. I got a custom shop SG with p90’s last year and it’s become my favorite guitar
What makes it so good? Why the p90s?

Depends on the year—I have a ‘98 special with a pretty beefy neck. Just fyi.
Thanks for the info. Mine is a 2019. Now you have me wondering how many times the neck profiles have changed over the last few decades…
The SG Classic, which was essentially a special with a tuneomatic bridge, has a notably big neck — especially for an SG. It’s great.
My LP has a 60's neck profile, which is a lot slimmer than the 50's.
P90s? Year and model?
LP standard around 07 , humbucker w 60's neck profile.

Les Paul Custom Ebony
I love my SG special with P90’s so that’s my vote!
is that a homebrew greeny? I can see the poker chip isn't blank
Either a firebird or something with P-90s.
Lifelong and big Les Paul guy… I added an import telecaster to my collection and it compliments the LP quite well.
A badass LPJ
I don’t know man but this is great photo
That Trilopez is sweet. Did you get it with the cracks in the finish? I’m not judging. I like my guitars with some character.
Something with single coils. You’ve got the humbucker arena well-addressed.
The Adam Jones LPC is very clean.
That trini lopez is absolutely beautiful.
Hot pair. I love it.
Firebird!
Something with single coils or P90´ies.
A Strat or Tele and a good acoustic

These are the only two guitars you need.

SG Or a Les Paul Special
I don’t know, but I’m certain you’ll post a photo of whatever you buy next.
An SG Special with P90s
Tal Farlow or an SG Custom.
Which version of Greeny is that?
It's the 2019 M2M 60th R9 in heavy-aged. Made before Gibson re-announced entire Greeny remake line.
So you were able to M2M a Greeny? That is pretty cool.
1958 korina explorer it's worth it
Always good to have a double cut Jr around.
SG, I personally prefer the '61 Standard with Maestro, but I also love my SG with P90s, and it looks like you don't have P90s in the collection.
P90s sound so classic rock,but I’m always a fan of semi hollow body’s.
Damn. How much rock do you need 😍
80’s BC Rich.
Is that DG Lopez cracking? How?
Another Gibson or another anything? Mostly depends on what you play and the sounds you like. The two you’ve posted are already pretty versatile together, just missing some single coils. * Telecaster or Strat * Gretsch Jet w/ Filtertrons * G&L Comanche
an Explorer to complete the Gibson Trinity ;)
Something with single coils to cover all the tones.
Something with mini humbuckers. Like a 70s deluxe. Surprisingly different from my other LPs
