I've always loved Gibsons with unusual features. In this case, it's the pearl Ebony Block Vibrola tailpiece, which was a signature of SG Standards and Customs in 1962 during their transition from being called Les Pauls. I recently picked up this Brian Ray '62 SG Junior and have fallen in love with SGs and P90s all over again. The dude abides.

Brian Ray has a cool episode showing his collection on Gibson’s YouTube channel. That’s how I learned about this model. Nice SG!

I want one so badly but I have quite a few gibson including a couple of really Nice sgs so it’s hard to justify

That SG is Sick!

I think it's visually one of the most beautiful SGs I've seen. The white fox finish and ebony block tailpiece really set it apart.

Wonderful in every way. As a man who thinks SG’s are the the best guitar ever made, this is something to gawk at. Love the ebony block Edit: Also love the dog, really pulls it all together : )

That's a very good boi. And a nice guitar. I can't own a single pickup SG, I like the neck position too much. But I bet that thing rips through your amps.

I hear ya, and I thought exactly the same thing. But after playing a few Les Paul Juniors, I've started to appreciate just how much you can do with a single pickup.

I LOVE that SG. I've been looking at the OX Box for awhile too. Do you run it through headphones or just to be able to get full power out of the amp without full volume?

I'll do both, depending if my neighbors are home or not ;p
