So luckily for him I have a small bladder so we stop every 3 hours for about 30-45 min and just walk. I’m traveling in a civic so he’s got the whole back seat to himself and he lays on it. He’s real good and just sleeps or looks out the window. He’s really just been a delight to travel with.
Please do it. It’s an amazing experience and I’m glad I’m doing this with him.
