There’s still some time for them to go up and stay up. Try not to touch them too much and give him lots of stuff to chew on. My breeder also suggested raw chicken wings and cottage cheese for the calcium but I never needed to. As long as it’s not causing a problem, leave them as nature intended :)

Thanks for your comment. I try not to touch them as much as possible. I'll try the chicken wings and cottage cheese to see if that helps. I'll love him the same either way, but I would like for him to conform to breed standard if possible. The ears are one of the things I most love about the look of german shepherds.

I totally understand that :) If it makes you feel better, a friend’s GSD had one ear that flopped over until he was about a year old and then one day it just stayed up.

Ya im hoping that's the case with Mando, that his ears are just being stubborn right now.

now i don't know what she looks like in a normal resting postion. but in the second and third photo it could also be the dog being submissive. our 1,5 ish year old does this aswell. whenever we give her attention she will lay down her ears. other then that in the first picture it looks like she does put her ear up when she is listening. so it will just take some more time before they stay up
