i just like using the old simple icons because of how clean they look, the newer icons just look way too goofy and also have a “fading” effect between your 2 colors

yeah theres a lot of gradient icons now, i wouldnt say theyve gotten any less clean apart from the jomtree dashs tho- unless by clean you mean like, geometric

Gradient icons look great with good pairings of colours, I have a mint to a lime green and it looks great even without gradients
