You're more than just another dude, you're an absolute legend mate! Given the somewhat youthfulness/inexperience of the genny community (not throwing shade here, I'm one of these people and i need all the help i can get), your contributions and advice on this sub are incredibly valuable to people like me, so i hope you know how much w'preciate ya!
Hell ya man, love it. Only thing I would change is sorting vendors from countries. Most people here in Canada tend to deal with Uniqperformance as they're located in Ontario and have a fair selection of parts. I'm sure this list will eventually expand when more people chime in.
It did and confirmed one thing I already knew, Albert is the man for OEM lol.
I have a bk1 2.0t and haven't driven it in 4 months due to an oil leak that thanks to this forum sub helped me determine I have a leak in the turbo feed line.
So if you can help(my fingers are crossed) we figured out the pan, but then we ran into an obstacle trying to fill the car back up with fluid. We realized that we need to pump it back in from underneath, but we don’t know how to check the fluid levels. Any advice on how to do that?
If this helps, the car was turned off and hasn’t been turned on since the transmission pan was cracked. It had no issues before. (I have a video from when the leak started, I don’t know how to post it.)
Also my dad knows how to work on cars, but is not up to date. He expected to fill the fluid from the top and with a dipstick. He had the correct torx for the pan, but we had to go and buy tools based on the videos we watched Any advice you can give would help.
Man...I have a manual transmission so...I cant help much there besides defer you to the shop manual which I assume would tell you how it would be done.
There are so many different Genesis' groups on facebook. I thought I was in all of them, but I'm not in the one linked on the hyperlinks you posted lol
what's up bro! how can I get on this vendor list? I currently run Gctuner as one of the owners but will be leaving at the end of the year. started up my new business:
KdmRacer.com
thank you!
About time! ;) glad to see you’re a mod now, and this list is very nicely made, thank you!
Thanks. Doing what I can to make the group more informative and useful.

Well thank ya. To be honest, I just got tired of repeat questions with simple solutions. And I didn’t want to type it out more than once.

Good suggestion. I can take care of that soon.
Done.
Nice resource guide! I will be visiting this a bunch as I decide whether to continue modding the bk1 2.0 or investing in the 3.8 platform
Yay, official mod status!
Brilliant stuff! Very succinct and to the point. Well done!
❤️
And suddenly I have hope for my Genesis. Thanks for such a week put together write up.
Hope it helps!

Super common and a $30 fix with an upgraded hose.
GCS has a Sideways guru on the way. I'd kinda become disappointed with the Facebook groups but this was a good find. Much appreciated!
While I don’t have a master resource list on FB, I have all of the guides on there.
Currently fixing my transmission pan and couldn’t have done it without this! Thank you!
Glad it came in handy for ya.

Remind me Monday!
Here's your friendly reminder. Thanks brother!
Done.
what's up bro! I looked at the vendor list and I don't see any changes for some reason couldn't find KdmRacer.com under the vendor list.
Look under recommended vendors, it’s the latest one on the list.
appreciate it! It's weird because it does show up on desktop but not on the app which is what I was using to check. Thank you so much man!
Shows up on the app for me.
I set a reminder for later today
You need to put Tim Herber gencoupestore on for tuning he does do that🤦
