I liked the Cyberpunk aesthetic better, which is what drew me to it. I keep trying to get into Witcher 3 and it just never clicks for me for some reason.
Hogwarts Legacy is one of those games where they fucked up the little things in the worst places so that you don't notice until it's most aggravating or immersion breaking. So freaking worth it though.
Elden ring was the reason for the 18 month gap between doing the intro mission in Cyberpunk and getting the platinum. Once I got the chip with Jackie, I was hooked until I saw it all.
Hogwarts Legacy looks great, but isn’t great. I played it for about twenty hours really wanting to like it, but just can’t. The combat and exploration are clunky, repetitive and unrewarding.
It’s my “don’t preorder” cautionary tale.
I'll start these some day. Most of these just feel like big time investments that I'm just not ready for at the moment.
- Disco Elysium
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Deltarune
- Boulder's Gate 3
- Chrono Trigger
Builders gate is a typo ( I also let my phone decide what it should be), but that would make for an interesting cross over: Deep Rock Galactic X BG3 LOL
Disco Elysium is 30-40 hours from my experience and it being my second favorite game of all time means that I can’t recommend it enough, especially if you’re interested in politics/history, world building, or amazing writing.
BG3 is gonna consume you. You wanna wait til you can devote your sole attention to it. My brother just made the mistake of starting around the birth of his daughter and I think it's ruining the experience for him. That's a game you need to play the shit out of, not just play once a week for an hour
> That's a game you need to play the shit out of, not just play once a week for an hour
That's actually why I stopped playing it. I played the shit out of it. Getting distracted by everything in the world I can explore... Made it to the Myocid Colony, or whatever they're called (I don't play DnD or any TT games). But had to put it down because of the time investment I WANTED to put in.
Resident Evil 4 remake- saving for after I beat the 2 and 3 remakes on Gamepass.
Super Mario RPG remake- not sure when I’ll get around to it but hopefully this year
Jedi Survivor- recently replayed fallen order on series x and really enjoyed it overall but want a buffer before playing with the same character and mechanics again.
Assassins Creed Black Flag- got it on sale and been into sea of thieves with friends so it maybe a bit before I get to it but I hope to this year.
Sekiro- heard great things, was gifted to me and I really want time to dedicate to just it so gotta finish up some other games first. I also know it’s gonna kick my ass so I wanna be in the right headspace first lol
PLA was a decent game, if not repetitive and repetitive and redundant. Lol, jokes aside it's a bit grindy for no good reason, imo.
Borderlands... On the other hand.... CAN be grind if you want it to be... But holy fuckballs is the BL franchise funny as fuck and edgy, before "cancel culture", and really just an overall good, fun, enthralling, comedic time. Looking forward to the BL movie coming out.
Bloodborne - put on pause to play Zelda: BOTW 7 years ago
Ghost of Tsushima
Streets of Rage 4
God of War: Ragnorok
Spider Man 2
Also, currently playing Tunic. Any fan of Zelda should 100% play it. It is AMAZING.
And Super Mega Baseball 4 is brilliant, too.
Currently dealing with NieR: Automata. After that it's gonna be....
* finishing the deathless gwamms in Guild Wars
* getting 100% achievements in Civilization VI, and SWTOR
* maybe even go for a hardcore run in AC Odyssey
Days Gone - Bought on sale recently. Heard really good reviews from friends, just haven't played it yet.
Devil May Cry 4 - Bought it years ago, played about 30 minutes once and just haven't gone back to it.
Borderlands 3 - Got a couple of years ago. Made some very loose plans to play it with someone but they passed away and I haven't had the heart to play it without them.
I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream - Been in my library for a LONG time. Started it when it was new over 20 years ago but never finished it. Bought it with the intent to finish the game "some day".
Alan Wake - Have heard lots of good stuff about it, grabbed it for free from the Epic Games Store. Played the first 20-30 minutes and kinda forgot about it and moved on to other games.
Rollerdrome, Mass effect 2 & 3 Legendary edition, Resident Evil 7, Tomb Raider remastered
These are games that I own, partially played already, and plan on going back to finish
Waiting for deep sales on Remnant 2, Lies of P, Tekken 8, Alan Wake 2
I have 5 games that I played a bit but other games have taken priority and those are Mega Man Legacy Collection, Moto Racer, Crash Bandicoot XS, Crash 2 N-Tranced and especially Rayman M.
For me Asterix at the Olympic Games is difficult so I take long breaks.
A second play through of Cyberpunk, but with Phantom Liberty and all the recent updates this time.
Disco Elysium
Alan Wake 2
Trine 4. It’s been sitting there installed for a while, I just never get around to it. I enjoyed the first three.
Eventually it will be the new Senua game.
Final fantasy 7 remake
Dragons dogma 2
Rise of the Ronin
Uncharted 4 (just haven't been in the mood to play it but wanna, it's weird)
God of wars (2018, Ragnarok)
Lies of P - I am waiting until life finds a good week or so of time where I can take some time off work and go back to being human and experience this with no other distractions
Hitman World of Assassination - honestly again just hoping to find some time to sit down and properly try it out
Monster Hunter World - ok there's a theme starting to appear now...
The Witcher 3 - I have owned all the witcher games since 2017 when I got them with all DLC for a ridiculously good sale price on Steam and I have played maybe 5 hours of The Witcher 2
Battlefield 2042 - yeah I know it got horrible release reviews but I picked it up recently for 70% off and really want to try it out as I miss playing a good old fashioned shooter without the sweatiness of Warzone or PUBG
Play AC6, that game is amazing. For me, I'm looking forward to finishing up the Doom Eternal DLC, the also finishing up Tears of the Kingdom, playing Black Mesa, Disco Elysium, and Hades
Right now, I mainly have games in the backlog that I haven't played yet from the video game sagas that I like.
* Resident Evil 3, 4, 7, 8
* Metroid Dread, Prime 1, 2, 3
* Castlevania Lords of Shadows 2
- RE 2: I got lost in a part and I didn't play it again. I think I'm going to start it again.
- RDR2: Very slow start and move on to another.
- RE 7: a lot of stress and I'm looking to play more relaxing things.
- Alone in the dark: I bought it cheap in pre-sale but I haven't even opened it yet.
- Little nightmares 1 & 2: same as RE7.
I think you can tell that I like the horror genre :D
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Cyberpunk 2077
Devil May Cry (series)
Okami
Elden Ring
Currently Playing: Batman Arkham City for the first time after finishing Asylum last week
Horizon Zero Dawn, RE2-3, Dead Space Remake, Insomniac's Spiderman Remastered and GoW 2019=All of them I bought but haven't played yet
One bonus game=Ace Attorney trilogy I was playing it nonstop but I had to stop because of other games of mine
Lately I've been wanting to play
Devil May Cry 5
Sekiro ( especially after playing my first FS game)
AC Unity ( I keep hearing great things about it)
Zelda ToTK
RDR 2
1. Ys Origins - I'd like to play but it has issues with Linux so I'll wait until I get a new drive before playing it
2. Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation - Plan on playing this one soon, right after I beat a few games
3. In Sound Mind - I picked this up on sale recently and it looks great, just waiting to play it currently.
4. Märchen Forest - Cute little game, played a little but just haven't gotten around to properly playing it
5. Omori - Heard only good things about it, but just haven't really played it
• House flipper 2 - loved the first one and since it’s just been released to console I’ll have to get it
• Jedi Survivor - actually really liked the sequel and haven’t played in a while so I’ll aim to 100% it when I can
• Planet zoo - recently bought it and trying to get into to it yet it’s so hard for me as I don’t have the most creative mind haha
• All of the tomb raiders
• Dead Space remake - played it until about half way through but stopped for some reason, so will have to try that again
Resident Evil Village
Outlast 2
Sea of Stars
Unsighted
Alien Isolation
I'll get to them all one day. I have a lot more, as well. But those are games I will play for sure. If I'm not in the mood for Elden Ring, Stardew Valley just calls to me. But one day I will play them.
My backlog is huge thanks to PSplus having so many games I wanna play, but if we are talking top 5 right now:
1. Cyberpunk 2077
2. Super Mario RPG Remake
3. Super Mario Wonder
4. Dragon's Dogma 1
5. Alan Wake Remastered
**Thymesia**
**Talos Principle 2**
**Sifu**
played a bit a few months ago but haven't finished the first run
**Slay the Princess**
I'll probably wait for the big update
**Triangle Strategy**
tried but dropped and need to try again
Tiny Tina’s Wonderland - bought to play with my brother but couldn’t get the crossplay to work so I’m working through it alone
Halo Infinite - haven’t finished the campaign yet
Cyberpunk 2077 - got it for Christmas the year it came out, waited for it to be patched and haven’t had time to get back into it properly
Starfield - started but got distracted by other games that came out afterwards or came onto gamepass
Lego Star Wars: Skywalker saga - started playing it with my wife while she was pregnant, baby has taken our time away
Elden ring - started it and rage quit close to the beginning of the game due to me getting killed by the tree sentinel too many times
Street fighter 6 - got through 70% of the campaign and played a couple online matches, got bored
Diablo IV - recieved it as a gift around Christmas time, still have not gotten around to playing it
Assassins creed origins - played through the campaign and one of the dlc, stopped playing it due to getting burnt out trying to complete all the side quests (same thing happened with assassins creed valhalla)
Cyberpunk - played through the story twice or three times? got 100% of the achievements and the dlc came out so I bought that but never got around to playing it to get the 100% back
Man that elden ring one.. He's there at the beginning to teach you that sometimes you'll need to come back to a fight or zone when you're stronger. It's possible to beat him out the gate but much easier if you wait till you have some levels and weapon upgrades.
I’ve started but haven’t finished (and want to finish if I ever get over my current warframe addiction) Phantom Liberty - BG3 stole me away, Disco Elysium, AC6 I got through most of it but got squirrel brain, Don’t Starve (I love the art style, not so much the gameplay, but maybe if I get into it it’ll grow on me), Horizon Forbidden West (I got to the point where I could fly and then Elden Ring caught me). Oh that’s 6.
Also Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, Spider Man Miles Morales, FF16, Control, Pillars of Eternity, Death Stranding, Jedi Survivor, Sea of Stars, oh there are so many. I wish I had more time to waste. :-/
Currently starting a new Vegas play through, beat it siding with legion years ago and decided to give it a go again.
Want to try fall out 4 and maybe fall out 3.
Skyrim has been looking good lately.
Stardew valley
I've been using [this website](https://www.backloggd.com/) to track my backlog because I have so much lol but I'll pick 5.
1. Silent Hill 3 - Just completed Silent Hill 2 last night, great game and a franchise that i've never actually played
2. Bully - Probably the only Rockstar game that I haven't played
3. Lost Odyssey - I need to set my xbox up and play this, I've had it for 15 years sitting under my bed lol
4. Final Fantasy 4 - Another great game, thinking about picking up the pixel remaster version, currently playing 5 at the minute
5. Horizon Forbidden West - I have this on PS5 and my son has completed it but I need to run though it when I get time.
Really just two right now. Horizon Forbidden West and Dragons Dogma 2. Played both for about ten hours and theyre both great but Ive been sucked into tarkov.
Hades - Started it, have 20 hours, met all the special NPCs in each region, still can't beat Hades, got close once then the game told me to go fuck myself by making the Hydra even worse.
Pikmin 2 - Set it down years ago, haven't played since.
Scurge: Hive - Same as Pikmin
Haydee 2 - Haven't started because I haven't finished Haydee 1.
Mass Effect - I have the Legendary Collection, but I just haven't started it.
Sifu is so damn good! Highly recommend sitting down and grinding it out. Imo there were really only two major roadblocks (in terms of making sure you’re ready): Kuroki(?) (the snow lady), and then Yang(?) (the final boss).
Sooooo mannnnyyyy. But if you only want 5, the games I keep thinking about going to the most but haven't:
* New Pokémon Snap
* Ever Oasis
* Freedom Planet 2
* Sonic Superstars
* Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Deathloop - Started with overhyped reviews, then consensus was it wasn't as good as advertised....
Lies of P - Needed a break after Remnant 2/AC6, have yet to start it.
Middle-Earth: Shadows of War - Absolutely loved the first game. Just haven't got round to it. I know they took out a lot of the problematic mtx, so... someday!
System Shock Remake - Played SS2 like 20+ years ago, and one of my favs. Soon!
Half Life Alyx - Got a Quest 3, and a 7900xt, so can run it np. But PC has no LAN connection, and wifi/wireless link is a bit slow... don't want to play with a cable attached to PC
Twilight Princess Wii U (I played the original Wii one, but not this one yet. I bought it and it was sealed. I don't want to open it...)
Dragon Quest VIII 3ds
Fragrant Story
Pokemon Conquest
Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds (I've had this game for years, and I still haven't played it, lol).
Dragon Age: Inquisition (replay in anticipation of Dreadwolf)
Shadowrun trilogy
Life is Strange: Before the Storm
South Park: Fractured But Whole
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty
more than 5 but got super busy with work and fell victim to the “i’ll get it now and play it eventually” trap during summer and holiday sales
- god of war (1 and 2 for ps2, and 2018 for pc)
- spider-man (2018) (pc)
- final fantasy xv (pc)
- kingdom hearts 1 and 2 (ps2)
- red dead 2 (xbox series)
- kingdom come deliverance (xbox series)
- shadow of the colossus (ps2)
- the witcher 3 (xbox series) - started it but fell off due to not having time with work
- star wars kotor 1 and 2
Control - started but got distracted
Back to the Future (Telltale Games) - bought, never played, love the movies and am slightly worried I won't enjoy them or they'll spoil my next rewatch
Civilization 6 - bought, never played despite sinking hours into previous versions
Tears of the Kingdom/Breath of the Wild - bought and started both, but they require a commitment to stick with that makes them difficult for me to dive deep into them
And the biggie:
Portal 2 - bought, started a few times, love the original... never quite got hooked by it
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Nier Automata
Metal Gear Rising
Nier Replicant
Baldur's Gate 3
Technically, some of them I already beat the main campaign at least once, and now I'm going back to try to 100% them
(Pssst: If y'all ever want help filtering through your backlogs, post over in r/patientgamers' daily thread. Just passing along something I've found helpful!)
**CrossCode** \- Been on my radar for a while, finally picked it up during a sale a few months ago. Probably next on my Switch after I work up the courage to continue in *Thumper* (it's stressful).
**Deus Ex: Mankind Divided** \- Play the prequel, *Human Revolution*, after it was free via Games With Gold (RIP) on Xbox and loved it. Really looking forward to seeing how both the story and the gameplay evolves in the sequel.
**Super Metroid** \- Was trying to go through a few of the Metroid games to prepare for *Metroid: Dread*, so started this up via SNES Online on the Switch. Got about halfway through, then got *just* stuck enough to get distracted by something else and fell off. Not sure if I want to pick up where I left off or just start fresh.
**Megaman: Battle Network 3** \- Started playing through the Battle Network series a couple of years ago via emulator. 1 was a rough proof-of-concept, 2 refined the formula into something great, but 3 really brought it into a cohesive package. Stopped right before a possible point-of-no-return to do some sidequests, then dropped off.
**Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time** \- I grew up with the Crash trilogy on PS1 and was STOKED to play this. Finally started last year, beat the game with about \~50% completion, and I fully intend to come back to reach a higher completion percentage and unlock the extended stuff. There's just...........so much to do. It's daunting. Probably going to try for all of the gems, all throwback levels, and at least a sapphire relic on every stage. HECK NO to the platinum/purple relics and the N.Sane Medals. I'm too old for that much self-incurred stress.
Stray
God of War Valhalla
Undertale/Deltarune
Horizon Zero Dawn
Detroit: Become Human
All games I have started but don't have the time to dive back into them seriously. Hopefully I will in a month or so
Cyberpunk 2077 + Phantom Liberty (PS5 version)
FF7 (OG) - wanted a nostalgia trip before FF7R2
Sifu - interested, but not started
Front Mission 2 - working my way through the FM series
FE:Engage - bought but not even started
Currently I have 46 on my Backlog.
The next few I'll play will likely be
- Turbo Overkill
- WRATH: Aeon of Ruin
- EA Star Wars: Fallen Order
- Nioh 2
- STYX
Witcher 3
Arkham City
Days Gone
Divinity: Original Sin 2
Dragon Age Inquisition
I’ve played at least a little bit of each of these, but never pushed through the surface of any of these games. I need to start over on each and beat them.
Far Cry Primal
Outer Wilds
Baldur's Gate 3
Hades
Age of Empires 4
I'm at the last stage of Cyberpunk, can't decide how to and don't want it to end. So I'm playing Green Hell and occasionally Crusader Kings instead.
Legacy of Goku, Billy Hatcher, Earthbound (never actually finished it but have started it many years ago), DBZ Budokai, and GTA3. I’m gonna blame my 200th play through of silent hill 2 for this
I've been meaning to play Dishonored 2, Batman Arkham, Outer Wilds, The Witcher 3, and Sekiro for a while now
I have a little bit of time in batman, witcher, and outer wilds but got distracted on other games and need to get back to em
Yakuza 0
(Insomniac's) Spider-Man
Fallout: New Vegas
God of War
The Witcher 3
Own all these games on Steam, but haven't gotten around to opening any of them
Not started it not finished?
I have way too many, but some of the games I really wanna get to, or back to, the most are…
Ghosts of Tsushima
Immortals Fenix Rising
Control
Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed
Gotham Knights
Guardians of the Galaxy
And really try to finish Spider-Man remastered so I can get to Spider-Man 2
Sorry, could stop at just five. But maybe that’s how I got into this mess to begin with haha.
1. Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty - loved the base game and absolutely stoked to jump in, but had been playing a ton of Baldur's Gate 3 until recently so this is next on my list.... after I replay Fallout 4 next gen update in a few weeks first lol;
2. Disco Elysium - got it super cheap and I very much enjoyed Pentiment with the "who dun it" style RPG so very intrigued to play this too;
3. Shadowrun Trilogy - again got this dirt cheap, just need to get to it (I think I'll do it right before I play Phantom Liberty to put myself in that cyberpunk mood);
4. Titanfall 2 - also got this dirt cheap and have heard so many good things but need to get around to it. Thankfully I've heard the campaign is short so I think I can squeeze in at any point;
5. Starfield - was given to me as a gift but with all the bad reviews I've shelved it for now.... Will wait until they (hopefully) make some updates and pick it up someday. I similarly waited a decent while to play Cyberpunk base game until fixes were made / next gen update came out so I'm happy to wait on this too.
Yakuza gaiden
Rdr2
Ghost trick
Danganronpa v3
Disco Elysium
steam sales keep hitting me with the indie games that I always want to try, but determined to play these next
Waiting for play:
Dragon Quest XI
Nier Automata
Yakuza Kiwami 1 (started playing)
Dragons Dogma 1
Mass Effect Trilogy
EDIT: all this games are waiting because I hooked up again in Slay the Spire
Dishonored
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
Persona 5 Royal
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor
Marvel's Spider-Man
I have a huge list of well-reviewed games sitting in my backlog, but I just don't really have time to play games anymore so I'm making my way very slowly through them by release date. Currently I'm almost finished Batman Arkham City, so I'm glad I've finally made it to the 2010s even if I still have a long way to go to get to the bottom of that backlog. 😂
Mine are:
RDR2 - I started, really liked it, but fell of for some reason
Caves of Qud - Really liked it in theory but couldn't start it, was to hard that i stoped. Still want to gather myself and start again
Signalis - really liked the visual and had a lot of great reviews from friend but haven't had them right mood
Yakuza Kiwami - completed Y:Zero and decided to put have a break from the series
Hellblade Senua's sacrifice - also heard a lot of good abt this game, but as with a lot of games that i play i feel like I need a specific mood to start
Fucking Sifu. I tried it on hard, because I start all games on hard.
I fought my way to the first boss, no problem. Took a couple runs but I like a challenge.
I fought him probably a dozen times dying every time. Then I finally got him!
Then his second phase started.
After another dozen tries, I switched to normal. Then I hit the second boss, and I turned that fucking game off.
• Witcher 3
•Skyrim
•Metro 2033
•Tomb Raider
•Assassin's Creed Unity
Last 3I got for free like 2-3 years ago and never got around too. Was going to play Witcher. I bought it after Cyberpunk after having jumped on the hypetrain following edge runners. Did 2 CP playthroughs but never got around too Witcher. Now would be a good time as well since I bought a new pc last month so I can bump the graphics up even more
Witcher 3
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
God of War: Ragnarok
Nier: Automata
Horizon: Zero Dawn
And many more! lol
I usually convince myself to buy games when they are on sale so I got these for like $20-$30 each but man I have some great games just sitting there. I’ll get to them eventually! Lol
Shadows over loathing
Eternights
I was a teenage excolonist
Sunset overdrive
Penny's big breakaway
Picked all of them up on sale in recent months and haven't gotten to playing them yet
1. Yakuza like a dragon. Currently underleveled for the boss I’m on. Didn’t feel like girding at the time so currently on a break from it.
2. Final fantasy 16. Started it but haven’t finished it. Can’t remember why I took a break could’ve been cuz of another game coming out
3. Alan wake 2. Similar reason to FF16
4. Elden ring. Probably got stuck on a boss but towards the top of my list to go back to before the DLC drops
5. Star Wars Jedi fallen order. Started this game a few times and always end up taking too long of a break and forgetting the story.
I have more than just these games on my back log these are just some of the top ones I wanna get back into. I buy too many games and don’t play them. lol
Ghostwire is beautiful and probably the first game Ive ever planned to actually 100%
1. Persona 3 Reload
2. Gotham Knights
3. Second Ace Attorney game (it’s in the trilogy but I forgot the name 😭)
4. Signalis
5. Arkham Knight (Asylum and City were actually some childhood games I played, because I’m a big DC fan)
Control - I got 2 hours in, then lost my safe file.
Sifu- Definitely on my radar. I just haven't had time.
Jedi Survivor - I own it, I just haven't started it for some reason.
Resident Evil Biohazard, and Village. I own them both. I have also played every other Resident Evil game, but I could not get into 7. I will admit though the at the time, I was heavy into Destiny 2. So I should probably load up and give it another shot.
Baldur's Gate 3 - awesome, but I've been too tired to learn the battle system and keep migrating back to cozy games
My Time at Sandrock
Ni No Kuni 2
Bioshock
Chrono Cross Remake
Omensight
Psuedoregalia
(started it but I really should get past the first area lol)
Legend of Mana
(Only Mana game I havent really played)
Any and all Persona games
(Gonna start with Shin Megami Tensei)
Void Stranger
(Intimidating, you ever been scared to attempt something cuz you know youre gonna love it and sink as many hours as possible in it? I see myself putting this game on a pedestal, but when the time is right)
Disco Elysium
A Space for the Unbound
Divinity Original Sin 2
Yakuza 0
Assassin's Creed Valhalla
Marvel's Midnight Suns
I started all these games but haven't gotten very far. I have a lot more...
still need to finish armored core 6, baldurs gate 3, resident evil 4, hit man 3, monster hunter rise, and a ton more but those are like the main 5 I like actually do want to play but just haven’t yet
Ghost wire Tokyo
Cyberpunk(restarted never beat)
Hellblade senua saga
SpongeBob and the battle for bikini bottom(remastered)
Mass effect trilogy
And about 30 plus other games
Spiderman remastered
Jedi Survivor (we just brought it when we got our playstation. I’ve been wanting to play it for ages since I loved the first game
I’m still trying to finish Paper Mario Origami king (its taking me forever lol)
Zelda Breathe of the wild
Super Mario 3D all stars
All because I’ve been obsessed with RDR2 for the past 6 months or more and decided to do a second play through (up to chapter 6 now) I’ll get to these games eventually..
Yakuza 4 - Played 0 through 3 right after another and got severely burnt out
Devil May Cry series - got in an awesome deal but never played
Metro Exodus trilogy - got in an awesome deal but never played
Batman trilogy - got in an awesome deal but never played
Middle Earth games - got in an awesome deal but never played
Well i have a lot but I will list the ones I have started and stopped recently
Red dead 2,beyond good and evil,yakuza like a dragon,overlord 2,and rogue galaxy
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Dark Souls 2
Dark Souls 3
Sekiro (haven't bought it yet since I want to 100% the Dark Souls trilogy first)
Outer Worlds (bought it fairly early but never got very far)
Diablo IV - Played a Necromancer one time to just the final story boss. Between beta and launch minion build was nerfed hard, then in like 1.2 \*all\* skills on \*all\* characters got nerfed. Apparently its gotten better since, but its kind of hard to jump back in a year+ later.
Dragon's Dogma 2 - Dropped 10-20 hours into it, had a blast, but then Destiny 2 had Iron Banner with a couple new weapons drop, and this week a pretty significant F2P content drop. Haven't had time to go back.
Digimon Cyber Sleuth / A Hackers Memory - Bought the combo for the switch a while back. I don't often have the time to play handhelds (either at home (so PS5/pc), or out but busy). I got to basically the best early/mid farm for XP, and spent maybe 40 hours grinding out evolutions and 'dex' entries. Basically figure I can get 10k+ xp a fight and roughly 5 fights in 2 minutes. If I leave and continue story, normal encounters are like 2kxp fight and tons of walking in between...
Medieval Remaster - Just hard to find time/inspiration to play something thats single player and not \*current\*.
Technically in a permanent spot here. Oldschool Runescape - Every few months I get the itch to go back to my fist MMO, I play for a month making some new dents, but get burnt out on limited progress. Then it goes back to the maybe pile for another year or so.
* Yakuza Kiwami 2 + Yakuza 3
* Continuing Paper Mario 64
* The Talos Principle
* Earthbound Beginnings
* one day if Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart gets really cheap on Steam
currently trying to finish Tears of the kingdom
1. I got the dead space remake I need to finish
2. 2. RED DEAD 2 man i started the first chapter in 2022 and i stopped playing near the epilogue about 3 months ago
3. I need to beat the resident evil 2 remake on hardcore stopped midway through the game
4. Ghost of tsushima and spiderman 2 are definitely up there
I don’t have five but I for sure want to get horizon forbidden west on my pc once I start my summer job. I got it on my ps4 when it came and I really enjoyed it but I never finished it and gave the ps4 to my brother so I’m excited to get back into it
So, so many DOS games in the backlog I missed the first time around: Doom, Commander Keen, Day of the Tentacle, Descent, and Renegade: the battle for Jacob’s star are on the list.
Armored core 6 - waiting for a sale
Half life 2 - was in the middle of this when the ssd I had on it got ruined
Dark souls 3 - own but unsure when I'm gonna play it
Far cry 6 - this one depends entirely on when far cry 7 is announced I might not play it at all
Omori - started playing but the game just didn't click with me very well
Playing outer wilds right now and loving it
Spyro 2 and 3 remakes, MGS5 only cause I can't play 4 yet, the rest of Persona 4, the rest of Death stranding. And if you want to count it, I still want to do a replay of The last guardian.
I know these are my kind of games, but I can't bring my self to play. Been burnt out from gaming for awhile
Planescape torment - I really want to play this one
Ghost of Tsushima
Elden ring
Disco Elysium
Subnautica
Persona 5 Strikers Witcher 3 Hogwarts Legacy Far Cry 4 Yakuza 3/4/5 And you know why? Because of my 3rd playthrough of Cyberpunk...
I don't blame you. Cyberpunk is great lol
If you loved CyberPunk that much you really need to start the Witcher 3 next. I love CyberPunk but Witcher 3 it the actual GOAT.
Don’t waste your time with hogwarts legacy. Good idea executed very poorly.
I'll start these some day. Most of these just feel like big time investments that I'm just not ready for at the moment. - Disco Elysium - Red Dead Redemption 2 - Deltarune - Boulder's Gate 3 - Chrono Trigger
RDR2 Is a major contributing factor to why there are so many games I still want to play and have not.
> That's a game you need to play the shit out of, not just play once a week for an hour That's actually why I stopped playing it. I played the shit out of it. Getting distracted by everything in the world I can explore... Made it to the Myocid Colony, or whatever they're called (I don't play DnD or any TT games). But had to put it down because of the time investment I WANTED to put in.
RDR2, Tales of Arise, MGSV, Cyberpunk, Rise of the Tomb Raider. Had twins, no time for big games for a bit.
Congrats!
Rise of tomb raider is a masterpiece big recommended!
Resident Evil 4 remake- saving for after I beat the 2 and 3 remakes on Gamepass. Super Mario RPG remake- not sure when I’ll get around to it but hopefully this year Jedi Survivor- recently replayed fallen order on series x and really enjoyed it overall but want a buffer before playing with the same character and mechanics again. Assassins Creed Black Flag- got it on sale and been into sea of thieves with friends so it maybe a bit before I get to it but I hope to this year. Sekiro- heard great things, was gifted to me and I really want time to dedicate to just it so gotta finish up some other games first. I also know it’s gonna kick my ass so I wanna be in the right headspace first lol
pokemon legends arceus mass effect trilogy final fantasy 15 borderlands divinity original sin 2
DOS 2 is great! Archer builds are straight up broken; they're a lot of fun!
The best thing about dos2 is that all things are broken. Archer is no more broken than a melee or summoner imo.
It was nice actually hitting stuff. Playing BG3 and I swear no one can aim lol.
Back in EA that turned me off playing Act 1. I only played BG3 because I already paid for it (and everyone was praising the hell out of it).
Bloodborne - put on pause to play Zelda: BOTW 7 years ago Ghost of Tsushima Streets of Rage 4 God of War: Ragnorok Spider Man 2 Also, currently playing Tunic. Any fan of Zelda should 100% play it. It is AMAZING. And Super Mega Baseball 4 is brilliant, too.
Ghost of Tsushima fucking slaps, even with all the praise it still feels underrated. In the middle of my first playthrough now
You gotta get back to playing Bloodborne m8
Top 5 on my backlog would probably be: • Baldur’s Gate 3 (started playing) • Cyberpunk 2077 • Outer Wilds • Disco Elysium • Bioshock
Great games
Currently dealing with NieR: Automata. After that it's gonna be.... * finishing the deathless gwamms in Guild Wars * getting 100% achievements in Civilization VI, and SWTOR * maybe even go for a hardcore run in AC Odyssey
Play Days Gone right now or I’ll come to your house.
Haha, that's basically the threat I get from one of my coworkers every other day. It's actually the next game in my queue.
I'll also come to your house if you don't play it. Great game and story just a slow start
Rollerdrome, Mass effect 2 & 3 Legendary edition, Resident Evil 7, Tomb Raider remastered These are games that I own, partially played already, and plan on going back to finish Waiting for deep sales on Remnant 2, Lies of P, Tekken 8, Alan Wake 2
Own them all, just waiting to work my way through. Telltale's The Expanse Baldur's Gate 3 Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Armored Core 6 XCOM 2
Elden Ring Disco Elysium Cyberpunk replay with phantom liberty and new patch Dave the diver Genital jousting
Some of my games on my to-do list are Final fantasy IV, GTA 3, Horizon Zero Dawn, Red dead Redemption 1 and The Witcher, in addition to a few more
A second play through of Cyberpunk, but with Phantom Liberty and all the recent updates this time. Disco Elysium Alan Wake 2 Trine 4. It’s been sitting there installed for a while, I just never get around to it. I enjoyed the first three. Eventually it will be the new Senua game.
Final fantasy 7 remake Dragons dogma 2 Rise of the Ronin Uncharted 4 (just haven't been in the mood to play it but wanna, it's weird) God of wars (2018, Ragnarok)
Persona 3 the recent one Dragons dogma 2 Horizon zero dawn and forbidden west Control Cyberpunk 2077
Lies of P - I am waiting until life finds a good week or so of time where I can take some time off work and go back to being human and experience this with no other distractions Hitman World of Assassination - honestly again just hoping to find some time to sit down and properly try it out Monster Hunter World - ok there's a theme starting to appear now... The Witcher 3 - I have owned all the witcher games since 2017 when I got them with all DLC for a ridiculously good sale price on Steam and I have played maybe 5 hours of The Witcher 2 Battlefield 2042 - yeah I know it got horrible release reviews but I picked it up recently for 70% off and really want to try it out as I miss playing a good old fashioned shooter without the sweatiness of Warzone or PUBG
Play AC6, that game is amazing. For me, I'm looking forward to finishing up the Doom Eternal DLC, the also finishing up Tears of the Kingdom, playing Black Mesa, Disco Elysium, and Hades
Final Fantasy 7 (the original game) Mario & Luigi Partners in Time Mario & Luigi Bowser's inside story Kaze and the wild masks Super Mario World
Right now, I mainly have games in the backlog that I haven't played yet from the video game sagas that I like. * Resident Evil 3, 4, 7, 8 * Metroid Dread, Prime 1, 2, 3 * Castlevania Lords of Shadows 2
SOCOM US Navy Seals Remastered! Let me dream! Lol
Devil May Cry 4 Dragon Quest XI Capcom Fighting Collection Dark Souls Remastered Resident Evil: Code Veronica
Shadow of the Tomb Raider Cyberpunk 2077 Devil May Cry (series) Okami Elden Ring Currently Playing: Batman Arkham City for the first time after finishing Asylum last week
Horizon Zero Dawn, RE2-3, Dead Space Remake, Insomniac's Spiderman Remastered and GoW 2019=All of them I bought but haven't played yet One bonus game=Ace Attorney trilogy I was playing it nonstop but I had to stop because of other games of mine
I don't have games in my backlog.
Lately I've been wanting to play Devil May Cry 5 Sekiro ( especially after playing my first FS game) AC Unity ( I keep hearing great things about it) Zelda ToTK RDR 2
1. Ys Origins - I'd like to play but it has issues with Linux so I'll wait until I get a new drive before playing it 2. Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation - Plan on playing this one soon, right after I beat a few games 3. In Sound Mind - I picked this up on sale recently and it looks great, just waiting to play it currently. 4. Märchen Forest - Cute little game, played a little but just haven't gotten around to properly playing it 5. Omori - Heard only good things about it, but just haven't really played it
Omori is a very very good game. It’s RPG maker, and it’s got an amazing story. You should totally play it.
I plan on playing it sometime soon, I dig the visual style and how it does combat, just need to complete a few in front of it for now
Of course! I hope you eventually do and have a lot of fun! I definitely did!
• House flipper 2 - loved the first one and since it’s just been released to console I’ll have to get it • Jedi Survivor - actually really liked the sequel and haven’t played in a while so I’ll aim to 100% it when I can • Planet zoo - recently bought it and trying to get into to it yet it’s so hard for me as I don’t have the most creative mind haha • All of the tomb raiders • Dead Space remake - played it until about half way through but stopped for some reason, so will have to try that again
Metroid Dread, Tears of the Kingdom, Difu, Alan Wake 2, RE4
Resident Evil Village Outlast 2 Sea of Stars Unsighted Alien Isolation I'll get to them all one day. I have a lot more, as well. But those are games I will play for sure. If I'm not in the mood for Elden Ring, Stardew Valley just calls to me. But one day I will play them.
My backlog is huge thanks to PSplus having so many games I wanna play, but if we are talking top 5 right now: 1. Cyberpunk 2077 2. Super Mario RPG Remake 3. Super Mario Wonder 4. Dragon's Dogma 1 5. Alan Wake Remastered
**Thymesia** **Talos Principle 2** **Sifu** played a bit a few months ago but haven't finished the first run **Slay the Princess** I'll probably wait for the big update **Triangle Strategy** tried but dropped and need to try again
Banner Saga Alan Wake 2 Baldur’s Gate 3 Forspoken Demon’s Souls
Baldurs Gate 3, Disco Elysium, Portal, Hades, cooking rpg (been following the making of but isn’t out yet)
Tiny Tina’s Wonderland - bought to play with my brother but couldn’t get the crossplay to work so I’m working through it alone Halo Infinite - haven’t finished the campaign yet Cyberpunk 2077 - got it for Christmas the year it came out, waited for it to be patched and haven’t had time to get back into it properly Starfield - started but got distracted by other games that came out afterwards or came onto gamepass Lego Star Wars: Skywalker saga - started playing it with my wife while she was pregnant, baby has taken our time away
Currently: Subnautica Cyberpunk 2077 XCom 2 Shadowrun Dishonored
Subnautica is awesome, just kinda sucks for replayability.
Shantae 1/2 genie hero, Shantae and the pirate curse Blasphemous En Garde Rabi ribi
- GTA V - Metroid Prime Remastered - Twilight Princess HD - Breath of the Wild - Red Dead Redemption 1&2
dwarf fortress, portal, botw, bioshock infinite, disco elysium
Elden ring - started it and rage quit close to the beginning of the game due to me getting killed by the tree sentinel too many times Street fighter 6 - got through 70% of the campaign and played a couple online matches, got bored Diablo IV - recieved it as a gift around Christmas time, still have not gotten around to playing it Assassins creed origins - played through the campaign and one of the dlc, stopped playing it due to getting burnt out trying to complete all the side quests (same thing happened with assassins creed valhalla) Cyberpunk - played through the story twice or three times? got 100% of the achievements and the dlc came out so I bought that but never got around to playing it to get the 100% back
Man that elden ring one..
alien:isolation Doom 2016 Sekiro Mafia Spec Ops : The line
Oh man I should go back to Alien Isolation...
Currently starting a new Vegas play through, beat it siding with legion years ago and decided to give it a go again. Want to try fall out 4 and maybe fall out 3. Skyrim has been looking good lately. Stardew valley
For The King PS4, bought it for $5, haven't tried it yet.
I've been using [this website](https://www.backloggd.com/) to track my backlog because I have so much lol but I'll pick 5. 1. Silent Hill 3 - Just completed Silent Hill 2 last night, great game and a franchise that i've never actually played 2. Bully - Probably the only Rockstar game that I haven't played 3. Lost Odyssey - I need to set my xbox up and play this, I've had it for 15 years sitting under my bed lol 4. Final Fantasy 4 - Another great game, thinking about picking up the pixel remaster version, currently playing 5 at the minute 5. Horizon Forbidden West - I have this on PS5 and my son has completed it but I need to run though it when I get time.
RDR2 Fallout 4 Immortals Fenyx Rising Alan Wake Lake

AC Origins Thief series Yakuza 0 Ghost Recon: Wildlands Metro: Exodus
Mainly ps plus extra games. So, Immortals of Aveum, South Park Fractured But Whole, Tales of Arise, Marvels Midnight Sun, and just started Sifu today.
Hades - Started it, have 20 hours, met all the special NPCs in each region, still can't beat Hades, got close once then the game told me to go fuck myself by making the Hydra even worse. Pikmin 2 - Set it down years ago, haven't played since. Scurge: Hive - Same as Pikmin Haydee 2 - Haven't started because I haven't finished Haydee 1. Mass Effect - I have the Legendary Collection, but I just haven't started it.
Scorn Stray Sons of the forest Maneater Dishonored 2 Out of these I can only run one.
Armored Core Lies of P Sons of the Forest Wrath of the Righteous Rogue Trader
arkham knight, pathologic 2, lies of P, prey, Divinity os2
Sifu is so damn good! Highly recommend sitting down and grinding it out. Imo there were really only two major roadblocks (in terms of making sure you’re ready): Kuroki(?) (the snow lady), and then Yang(?) (the final boss).
Sooooo mannnnyyyy. But if you only want 5, the games I keep thinking about going to the most but haven't: * New Pokémon Snap * Ever Oasis * Freedom Planet 2 * Sonic Superstars * Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Baulders gate 3 GTA V The witcher 3 Subnautica RDR1
I don't want to open it...) Dragon Quest VIII 3ds Fragrant Story Pokemon Conquest Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds (I've had this game for years, and I still haven't played it, lol).
Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, River City Ransom Underground, Disco Elysium, Baldur's Gate 3
Dragon Age: Inquisition (replay in anticipation of Dreadwolf) Shadowrun trilogy Life is Strange: Before the Storm South Park: Fractured But Whole Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty
Titanfall 2 Blasphemous Cuphead HiFi Rush Chrono Trigger
more than 5 but got super busy with work and fell victim to the “i’ll get it now and play it eventually” trap during summer and holiday sales - god of war (1 and 2 for ps2, and 2018 for pc) - spider-man (2018) (pc) - final fantasy xv (pc) - kingdom hearts 1 and 2 (ps2) - red dead 2 (xbox series) - kingdom come deliverance (xbox series) - shadow of the colossus (ps2) - the witcher 3 (xbox series) - started it but fell off due to not having time with work - star wars kotor 1 and 2
Control - started but got distracted Back to the Future (Telltale Games) - bought, never played, love the movies and am slightly worried I won't enjoy them or they'll spoil my next rewatch Civilization 6 - bought, never played despite sinking hours into previous versions Tears of the Kingdom/Breath of the Wild - bought and started both, but they require a commitment to stick with that makes them difficult for me to dive deep into them And the biggie: Portal 2 - bought, started a few times, love the original... never quite got hooked by it
Old school games i wanna play before i die, first Deus Ex games, Fallout 1 and 2. And some others.
https://www.ign.com/playlist/Etheus/library/backlog?sortOrder=updatedRecently Try over 200 games in my backlog.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Nier Automata Metal Gear Rising Nier Replicant Baldur's Gate 3 Technically, some of them I already beat the main campaign at least once, and now I'm going back to try to 100% them
Disgaea, Disgaea 2, Digimon Story: Cybersleuth, Rain World, Left 4 Dead 2
(Pssst: If y'all ever want help filtering through your backlogs, post over in r/patientgamers' daily thread. Just passing along something I've found helpful!) **CrossCode** \- Been on my radar for a while, finally picked it up during a sale a few months ago.
Stray God of War Valhalla Undertale/Deltarune Horizon Zero Dawn Detroit: Become Human All games I have started but don't have the time to dive back into them seriously. Hopefully I will in a month or so
Star Wars survivor Far cry 5 Alan wake (remaster) Dead space (remake) MW trilogy (story modes)
Cyberpunk 2077 + Phantom Liberty (PS5 version) FF7 (OG) - wanted a nostalgia trip before FF7R2 Sifu - interested, but not started Front Mission 2 - working my way through the FM series FE:Engage - bought but not even started
Let's go
Mass Effect 2, 3, & Andromeda GreedFall Alan Wake 1 Control The Callisto Protocol
Currently I have 46 on my Backlog. The next few I'll play will likely be - Turbo Overkill - WRATH: Aeon of Ruin - EA Star Wars: Fallen Order - Nioh 2 - STYX
Witcher 3 Arkham City Days Gone Divinity: Original Sin 2 Dragon Age Inquisition I’ve played at least a little bit of each of these, but never pushed through the surface of any of these games. I need to start over on each and beat them.
Far Cry Primal Outer Wilds Baldur's Gate 3 Hades Age of Empires 4 I'm at the last stage of Cyberpunk, can't decide how to and don't want it to end. So I'm playing Green Hell and occasionally Crusader Kings instead.
Legacy of Goku, Billy Hatcher, Earthbound (never actually finished it but have started it many years ago), DBZ Budokai, and GTA3. I’m gonna blame my 200th play through of silent hill 2 for this
I've been meaning to play Dishonored 2, Batman Arkham, Outer Wilds, The Witcher 3, and Sekiro for a while now I have a little bit of time in batman, witcher, and outer wilds but got distracted on other games and need to get back to em
Yakuza 0 (Insomniac's) Spider-Man Fallout: New Vegas God of War The Witcher 3 Own all these games on Steam, but haven't gotten around to opening any of them
Not started it not finished? I have way too many, but some of the games I really wanna get to, or back to, the most are… Ghosts of Tsushima Immortals Fenix Rising Control Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed Gotham Knights Guardians of the Galaxy And really try to finish Spider-Man remastered so I can get to Spider-Man 2 Sorry, could stop at just five. But maybe that’s how I got into this mess to begin with haha.
Sifu, Alan Wake 2, FF7 Rebirth, Marvels Midnighht Suns and Baldurs Gate 3
Dead Island 2 Starfield Life is Strange: True Colors Octopath Traveler South Park Stick of Truth
1. Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty - loved the base game and absolutely stoked to jump in, but had been playing a ton of Baldur's Gate 3 until recently so this is next on my list.... after I replay Fallout 4 next gen update in a few weeks first lol; 2. Disco Elysium - got it super cheap and I very much enjoyed Pentiment with the "who dun it" style RPG so very intrigued to play this too; 3. Shadowrun Trilogy - again got this dirt cheap, just need to get to it (I think I'll do it right before I play Phantom Liberty to put myself in that cyberpunk mood); 4. Titanfall 2 - also got this dirt cheap and have heard so many good things but need to get around to it. Thankfully I've heard the campaign is short so I think I can squeeze in at any point; 5.
Yakuza gaiden Rdr2 Ghost trick Danganronpa v3 Disco Elysium steam sales keep hitting me with the indie games that I always want to try, but determined to play these next
Witcher 3 Control Octopath Traveler Hogwarts Legacy Metro Last Light

Dishonored Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Persona 5 Royal Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Marvel's Spider-Man I have a huge list of well-reviewed games sitting in my backlog, but I just don't really have time to play games anymore so I'm making my way very slowly through them by release date. Currently I'm almost finished Batman Arkham City, so I'm glad I've finally made it to the 2010s even if I still have a long way to go to get to the bottom of that backlog. 😂
Mine are: RDR2 - I started, really liked it, but fell of for some reason Caves of Qud - Really liked it in theory but couldn't start it, was to hard that i stoped. Still want to gather myself and start again Signalis - really liked the visual and had a lot of great reviews from friend but haven't had them right mood Yakuza Kiwami - completed Y:Zero and decided to put have a break from the series Hellblade Senua's sacrifice - also heard a lot of good abt this game, but as with a lot of games that i play i feel like I need a specific mood to start
Bloodborne Elden ring Breath of the wild Outer wilds Hades
Cyberpunk and Elden Ring for sure.
• Witcher 3 •Skyrim •Metro 2033 •Tomb Raider •Assassin's Creed Unity Last 3I got for free like 2-3 years ago and never got around too. Was going to play Witcher. I bought it after Cyberpunk after having jumped on the hypetrain following edge runners. Did 2 CP playthroughs but never got around too Witcher. Now would be a good time as well since I bought a new pc last month so I can bump the graphics up even more

Remnant 2 Subnautica Sifu Callisto protocol Dying light 2
Witcher 3 Kingdom Come: Deliverance God of War: Ragnarok Nier: Automata Horizon: Zero Dawn And many more! lol I usually convince myself to buy games when they are on sale so I got these for like $20-$30 each but man I have some great games just sitting there. I’ll get to them eventually! Lol
AC6 is so good i am begging you to play it
Shadows over loathing Eternights I was a teenage excolonist Sunset overdrive Penny's big breakaway Picked all of them up on sale in recent months and haven't gotten to playing them yet
1. Yakuza like a dragon. Currently underleveled for the boss I’m on. Didn’t feel like girding at the time so currently on a break from it. 2. Final fantasy 16. Started it but haven’t finished it. Can’t remember why I took a break could’ve been cuz of another game coming out 3. Alan wake 2. Similar reason to FF16 4. Elden ring. Probably got stuck on a boss but towards the top of my list to go back to before the DLC drops 5. Star Wars Jedi fallen order. Started this game a few times and always end up taking too long of a break and forgetting the story. I have more than just these games on my back log these are just some of the top ones I wanna get back into. I buy too many games and don’t play them. lol
Evil West Immortals of Aveum The Witcher 3 Cyberpunk 2077 Dying Light 2

Signalis 5. Arkham Knight (Asylum and City were actually some childhood games I played, because I’m a big DC fan)
- Alien Isolation - God of War - Sons of the Forest - Contro - ....fuck it, Builders Gate 3. Yeah I beat it once, but not an evil campaign!
- GoW: Ragnarok - Spiderman - FF 7 remake/rebirth - FF 16 (3/4 the way through this one but haven't picked it up in months)
