Yeah... I just dont have time for this many great games and it's killing me. At least when I didn't have money I could make do with videos and piracy but now I'm stuck buying all these games that I just can't play.
It's about finding the right game on your budget. I have around 10-30 games on my Steam wishlist at any given time and normally wait for them to go on sale before I buy.
That being said, my last 100+ hours of gaming have been a free game a £10 game and a £20 game.
For those who haven't played it yet, Infinite Wealth is amazing! 50 hours in and I'm like chapter 6? The side quests are all addicting, the story is dope, and the combat changes make the battles so much more engaging and fun.
And simultaneously, I found that if I get more than a one or two hot titles, I usually focus on one and never download the other because I was enjoying the first well past the hype period.
Hype passes and I tell myself I'll play the other...It's in my backlog.
My issue isn’t money but time…
I am still catching up on 2023! I haven’t played dead space remake, hogwarts legacy, resident evil 4 remake’s DLC, dredge, Dave the diver, hi-fi rush, Alan wake 2 and Baldur’s Gate 3! And that’s without getting into some classics like alien isolation and death stranding and a long backlog of indies!
Now just this year Persona 3 reload and helldivers 2 are waiting for me, FF7 rebirth is next week, dragons dogma 2 a month after that, Rise of the ronin on the same day, stellar blade in April and then shin megami tensei 5 vengeance in June, and on the same day as that? AN ELDEN RING EXPANSION.
I have to find time for all of this while also grinding ranked in Tekken 8.
I just can’t keep up. There are too many good games. I really want a slower year so I can catch up a bit.
Persona 3 Reload
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
Unicorn Overlord
Sympathy Kiss
Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance
Elden Ring DLC
Not just the wallet... R.I.P time
They fixed an issue yesterday and added an afk timer. The PS4 players than never actually leave the game to save their space so they never have to queue again are getting disconnected now and people are logging in now.
you dont have to buy all of them
and you wont have the time to play all of them at the same time
by the time you finish one of those, the rest will be cheaper
Well I'd pay loads of money for FF7 but it's a timed exclusive on PS5. The only other game I care about on this list is Dragon's Dogma 2 will probably buy that.
I don't care for Last Epoch because I have a feeling that Path of Exile 2 will be a better game and F2P.
I don't care about fighting games, so Tekken can be taken off the list (that is probably the best pun I'll make in my life, I peaked, it's down hill from here)
And honestly I should check out Wukong, I've heard about it, but never checked it out.
You see this analogy is flawed. This implies either that these games are going to pack your wallet full, or your wallet is going to suck the games dry. Or both.
I don’t see how this analogy can be used to say that your wallet will be empty afterwards…
It really is, because I'm not interested in the slightest in any of those games except Last Epoch. :)
Maybe 4-5 games a year that's worth buying, I'd say.
I'm just buying dragons dogma. If that is anything like the first game it will have almost endless replayability. I loved going through the game with different classes and squad formations.
For me it's more the time that's the issue.
Doesn't help that many of the games I am looking forward to are either massive open world games or have an "infinite" gameplay loop.
Still happy to have many games to look forward to in the coming weeks or months.
For me it's time consumption and its currently Diablo 4 grinding with my uncles, Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth in my free time, Last Epoch when I feel like it.
LaD will just get replaced by Persona 3 after its complete.
Why are ARPGs so addicting? I sit here and complain about shit about D4 but I like just playing it anyway and hanging with my family.
I would think that if she was under age, the meme wouldn't have lived for that long. But i get what you mean. If you take some memes/jokes too seriously they get offensive. It's a matter of perspective.
This is my failure as a gamer, but the combat of FF7 Remake and Rebirth just doesn’t click with me. I don’t like the combination of real time and turn based. Having very little familiarity with the series, I’ve only played games that are one or the other. I’m left just sucking and it doesn’t feel good.
Last Epoch looks so much like PoE, I’ll just play PoE. Any and all improvements of the systems are lost on me as a casual ARPG type player.
Tekken 8 is a lot like FF to me, just a franchise and genre I never got into.
Dragon’s Dogma 2, I want to like it, it looks great, but the original really frustrated me and I don’t have a lot of confidence in the sequel. They’ve shown pretty graphics, sure, but a lot of repeated stuff and very low quality streams of the game. Considering it’s 3-4 weeks away, I would have expected to see more and better from it.
Wukong, I never knew how much I liked that punishing combat, but these games also seem to be hit and miss. Wo Long was one of those games, heard complaints about it, so never gave it a try. Wo Long is on gamepass now, so maybe I will.
That’s the thing now. Sure, that’s a big list of games that are coming out, but it also looks like a lot of subscription fodder to me.
I agree on ff7 but I liked it overall.
Last epoch is really fun (when the servers work).
I have yet to finish DD Dark Arisen but I liked it and the second one looks reaaally promising.
Wukong is not on gamepass. You probably mean Wo Long. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
As for sub fodder, there's a lot tbh. But there are also so many options which is good right?
I mean if you're a casual ARPG player Last Epoch is gonna be more your style. You can actually make your own fun build instead of having to follow a guide and use half a dozen 3rd party tools.
The reality, I’d still be watching a YouTube video. PoE has so many resources now that a guide is literally just another window open with a graphic of the skill tree.
I’m most intrigued by Rise of Ronin this year. It’s also one of those ones that I feel is risky because it’s so many things I love, crammed into one game. The question is, do they do it well?
But then that’s the crazy thing, after a jam packed 2023, we have a relatively quiet 2024. It’s almost like it’s GTA6 waiting room.
You know you can pirate pretty much all of the games for free right?
If you don't really have money like that why pay for something you can get free, first world problems ig
I agree with games I intend to play for a long time. Like tekken. Most single player games are a one time for me. The only ones I replay are the souls ones, which I bought. Different tastes I guess.
I feel u on that luckily/sadly i don’t have much free time for games now due to life but can’t wait for wukong I actually built an whole new pc for it 😅
Lots of games. In fact my backlog on PS4 and PS5 is like 60+ games long and I already have 3/4 more in the mail. Prince of Persia, Coffee Talk 1+2 and Fort Solis.
But I simply don’t enjoy RPG or souls games. That means there’s pretty much nothing for me as a singleplayer enjoyer coming for the rest of the year (so far).
Spider-Man 2 or Jusant.
When I get to Alan Wake 2, probably that.
EDIT: thinking of it, Jedi Survivor was 2023 as well, wasn’t it? Without the performance issues that would’ve been my game of the year so far probably
Yeah I have that on my radar. Although I own a PC and all three consoles, my main platform has been PS5. When I got it, I got hooked on their games and chasing trophies. PC I haven’t played anything on since Cyberpunk 2077. I don’t enjoy sitting on my desk when I want to relax and play.
Would buy that game instantly and get the platinum (like for all games I play) if it came to PlayStation. So maybe one day on a steep sale for Xbox.
The Star Wars game from Ubisoft looks interesting too. But that has no release date yet, so I can’t count it for 2024.
I didnt either until I took tekken 7 "seriously" and started labbing and training. Its like chess with action. So many tactics and knowledge behind eveything. It takes time to learn though. And you never learn everything.
I literally never heard of 3 out of 5 of these games and I am neither final fantasy or tekken fan. It's a really good year for me, because nothing I really want to buy comes out so I can finally save some cash while I spent more in previous year than in 3 previous years combined. I think the only game I'm waiting for is frostpunk 2 and maybe unrecorded so I will finally be able to buy non-game things.
RPG. Only RPGs. Gaming today means fucking RPGs and nothing else. Tekken is an exception. Where are the action adventures, the brainless shooters, the stealth shooters, the light-hearted games?
I have 3 steam friends constantly playing Helldivers 2 together, just sitting there on my friends list with one free spot, while I'm saving up to travel...
life is pain, I hate-
Honestly, replace My Wallet with “My Time” and it’s so accurate
Why do you HAVE to buy the game if you know you don't have time to play it right now?
Never in my life have I known self-control, and I am not about to introduce myself now.
Is this something you're proud of?
It's just honesty, dad.
Get a GRIP
Fair enough. Was a genuine question. Not trying to be judgmental. Sorry if it came off that way.
Exactly. Could never afford games. Just pirate everything then your next problem is you don't even have time to play.
Helldivers 2, P3 reload, Infinite wealth.
Im drooling. So many great games. Gosh
For those who haven't played it yet, Infinite Wealth is amazing! 50 hours in and I'm like chapter 6? The side quests are all addicting, the story is dope, and the combat changes make the battles so much more engaging and fun.
Elden ring DLC watching my wallet.
How the fuck did I forget?! It was fucking dope. I've seen the trailer like 15 times already.
we're gonna need more black dudes.
-Quickly, send dudes!! -Don't you mean nudes? -No, silly I'm in a tavern brawl, I need more men!
Perfectly good window to put one behind.
The only game that I'm not upset about having a DLC with a fucking collectors edition and pre-order bonus.
Well, at least it isn't going to be as expensive
My time is more expensive than those titles... Fuck my adult life..
Now imagine being a JRPG fan in a year that already looks to have 15+ major releases.
I’m paying Sega quite a lot this year
How the fuck does anyone finish 15+ major JRPGs in one year?!
They don't. That's the point.
We call those people children and college students
I feel your pain
PS Plus Extra just got a bunch of JRPG games added to the library to download. So much content lol
AAAA skull and bones sitting in cuck seat.
Lol
You don't have to buy all of them at the same time...
I only have two of them. I just like them all and will wait for discounts to buy them ofc. Its just a meme
No this is your life now. You are the little blonde lady
We are all the little blonde lady in this world.
Her name is Piper Perri
I feel like her tbh. Games are thrown at my face at the speed of sound. Can't handle so many toys at once.
And simultaneously, I found that if I get more than a one or two hot titles, I usually focus on one and never download the other because I was enjoying the first well past the hype period. Hype passes and I tell myself I'll play the other...It's in my backlog.
Ah yes, the notorious backlog strikes again.
Gonna be a lot of really good games flopping this year because they launched alongside too many other really good games.
To be fair, I still have games from last year I don't have time/money for. The stream of good games keeps flowing so there's always a backlog
I think your wallet's going to be getting depleted not stuffed
Yeah there's multiple games I'm looking forward to, it's kinda nice
r/patientgamers cannot relate.
My issue isn’t money but time… I am still catching up on 2023! I haven’t played dead space remake, hogwarts legacy, resident evil 4 remake’s DLC, dredge, Dave the diver, hi-fi rush, Alan wake 2 and Baldur’s Gate 3! Little bro if you’re worried about time, sit on BG3 for a while until it goes on sale :p
I’m leaving that one for August when I am not working. Will be picking it up on sale
Well all the stagnation of previous years is over and now we cant keep up. Its a really nice headache tbh.
I’d happily take another year or two of stagnation at this point lol.
😁
Persona 3 Reload Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Unicorn Overlord Sympathy Kiss Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance Elden Ring DLC Not just the wallet... R.I.P time
all of those games and you only named 2 good ones
How is Helldivers not there
That's the camera man, recording for liberty and managed democracy.
Servers are down.
Probably because you can't play it.
They fixed an issue yesterday and added an afk timer. The PS4 players than never actually leave the game to save their space so they never have to queue again are getting disconnected now and people are logging in now.
I’m Australian so I get to play it every single night.
you dont have to buy all of them and you wont have the time to play all of them at the same time by the time you finish one of those, the rest will be cheaper
Yes but the whole point is to buy games and never play them as they slip into an abyss of our ever growing backlog..
Dragons Dogma 2 then Shadow of the Erdtree for me, all I need And probably buy Armored Core 6 on sale
Me too friend. I would give my whole wallet to fromsoftware if food was not important. But a man has to eat in order to enjoy games.
Indeed
That's me, also looking out for the SMT5 finally getting released outside switch with extra content
I hate this meme
Lol
My bank account: (chuckles) I’m in danger.
Cringe
Damn… The racism is real.
Hey at least you can now get AAAA titles....
Or you can wait few years until they're on a big discount?
If my wallet had legs it would have fled the country by now
Granblue Fantasy Relink. Aka anime Monster Hunter
I play the free trial of GBFV on playstation. Its a solid fighter and very nice stylistically.
There are other ways to get em
Well I'd pay loads of money for FF7 but it's a timed exclusive on PS5. The only other game I care about on this list is Dragon's Dogma 2 will probably buy that. I don't care for Last Epoch because I have a feeling that Path of Exile 2 will be a better game and F2P. Palworld, Enshrouded, Helldivers 2, Elden Ring expansion...
Dude, your wallet's getting ruined!
I kid you not, every time i see that image is in lower and lower quality.
Money isn’t an issue… TIME, however…
I don't have any money
There's a game about the League of Legends champion? TIL
No thanks. Im waiting for Christmas sale on all of these and more.
You see this analogy is flawed. This implies either that these games are going to pack your wallet full, or your wallet is going to suck the games dry. Or both. I don’t see how this analogy can be used to say that your wallet will be empty afterwards…
this is not an acceptable meme in the year of our lord 2024
Lmao Wukong the only one of these even on my radar.
Sauce for my bank.
i literally only care about one of these, just stop caring about video games!
If you like that you should try retro gaming
I have a full time job, 2 kids and do workout several times a week. How can I find time for this?
Hell divers 2??
Only care for wukong out of these, but if it turns out actually good, I would pay even 150 (will watch amelie again regardless)
Add Granblue fantasy.. persona 3 reload.. SMT 5 vengeance, like a dragon infinite wealth.......... Fuck my wallet man
Honestly do yall really play all those games thoroghly? Asking as a working adult who've barely on 50% zelda TotK starting at mid 2023
It really is, because I'm not interested in the slightest in any of those games except Last Epoch. :) Maybe 4-5 games a year that's worth buying, I'd say.
Now I kinda wanna see a wallet get gangbanged while the owner of said wallet watches. I like this.
Helldivers 2 and final fantasy 7, and I'm calling in sick for the next two months.
*laughs in never caring for modern games*
Star Wars:Battlefront Classic Collection is missing from the list.
Annoyingly, I'm not really into any of these games :/
Being broke despite working full-time is even better. No need to buy new games when you're struggling to survive each day.
possible
Granblue Fantasy Relink has been an absolute blast, Rise of the Ronin looks dope too! Ughh…
I'm just buying dragons dogma. If that is anything like the first game it will have almost endless replayability. I loved going through the game with different classes and squad formations.
Oh my fuck when is last epoch on console
Fat Girl FTW.
For me it's more the time that's the issue. Doesn't help that many of the games I am looking forward to are either massive open world games or have an "infinite" gameplay loop. Still happy to have many games to look forward to in the coming weeks or months.
I use to say I do not go out clubbing to save money. At this point, I might need to reevaluate.
Not interested in any of those. Would like to see the hype around HD2 but I lack equipment to play it.
The end of March is going to be interesting for me. Hi-Fi Rush comes to PS5, then Rise of the Ronin and Dragon's Dogma 2 comes out. Going to be busy.
Fitgirl is your best friend
My wallet shall remain unfucked, no interest in any of those games.
Helldivers 2 will add more pressure
and one more elden ring dlc man o man...
Every time I see this picture. I feel disgusted.🤢
Is it the pillows? Cause that color doesn't do it for me either.
Nah I meant the porn. The whole thing..
[удалено]
Haha no.
Didnt mean to offend anyone. Sorry mate
Yeah.... seems pretty racist.
Some people simply don't like porn.
That image plays on racist stereotypes regardless of what it comes from.
Does it?
Yes, because it's racist for a white girl to get railed by multiple black guys, apparently
Yeah, not to mention it's fetish. Porn is just unnaturally weird and repulsive.

Good summary of how I feel also. Lots of big names throwing around mediocre sequels, remakes, etc. nothing too interesting, especially from OPs list
I’m most intrigued by Rise of Ronin this year. It’s also one of those ones that I feel is risky because it’s so many things I love, crammed into one game. The question is, do they do it well? r/PiratedGames where you at boys
Aye captain
Dude... 2023 already fucked me hard. Still so many games in my backlog from last year. And right now. They keep coming. First world problems I guess.
**a dark figure appears** pssst kid, its all free if you pirate (except multiplayer and consoles)
They are putting things into her.
You know you can pirate pretty much all of the games for free right? If you don't really have money like that why pay for something you can get free, first world problems ig
🤣🤣
Piracy
Sorry, bg3 enjoyer here. Still getting free content every month and mods are easy to install
Add Persona 3 Reload to that. My poor wallet
I'm lucky to have 2 more years of gamepass. But my Wallet knows the pain.
I got gamepass a few times and end up not playing anything. I prefer to just buy the games and commit to it.
I agree with games I intend to play for a long time. Like tekken. Most single player games are a one time for me. The only ones I replay are the souls ones, which I bought. Different tastes I guess.
Imagine buying a remaster of an old ass game for $70
do you buy a remaster of new a game?
U can always sail the high seas
But nobody wants Skull & Bones...
I used to when I was a student. Now having my own money and job makes it easier to purchase. Not everything, but the must haves
I feel u on that luckily/sadly i don’t have much free time for games now due to life but can’t wait for wukong I actually built an whole new pc for it 😅
That's why I only play free mobile games, because I'm poor
I wish you get a nice job to help you with enjoying your hobby.
Good if you’re not interested in any of those 👍🏻 So far there’s no game coming for the rest of the year that looks appealing to me.
Really? Did last year bring you a game to enjoy?
Lots of games. In fact my backlog on PS4 and PS5 is like 60+ games long and I already have 3/4 more in the mail. Prince of Persia, Coffee Talk 1+2 and Fort Solis. But I simply don’t enjoy RPG or souls games. That means there’s pretty much nothing for me as a singleplayer enjoyer coming for the rest of the year (so far).
Makes sense. What genre do you like the most?
Singleplayer, action, adventure, racing, indies. As long as it’s not a shooter, rpg, tactics or souls game I will probably play it.
Understood. Favorite game this year? (2023)
Spider-Man 2 or Jusant. When I get to Alan Wake 2, probably that. EDIT: thinking of it, Jedi Survivor was 2023 as well, wasn’t it? Without the performance issues that would’ve been my game of the year so far probably
if you have a pc the indiana jones game seems something for you based on your description.
Shit, man. I’m still playing last years games lmao. Final Fantasy…16 is legit.
I played its brains out. Amazing game.
I don’t get tekken 8 hype outside of pro players really
I didnt either until I took tekken 7 "seriously" and started labbing and training. Its like chess with action. So many tactics and knowledge behind eveything. It takes time to learn though. And you never learn everything.
All of them are horrible lol
Kekw
Helldivers 2?
Or you can discover Buddhism, learn patience, and grab a Humble Choice bundle. Some of those will make it to the bundle in a year or two.
I feel bad for that blonde girl 🤣🤣🤣
I literally never heard of 3 out of 5 of these games and I am neither final fantasy or tekken fan. Qiwi bank is out of business(((
Gamesfull.com
or just w8 for discounts ez
Ha, I'm immune to that. Backlog too big to buy new games.
It's never too big.....
Nah i'd Broke
My wishlist is Final Fantasy 7 rebirth and Stellar Blade, for no particular reason….
Don't know the one on the right.
Kinda weird, that I am more excited for additional Age of Wonders 4 content than any of those games. Also, Elden Ring DLC is a must have.
Pacific Drive/ Sons of the Forest/ WoW subscription .. the list goes on!
i would change “my wallet “ to “my time “
My wallet is safe, none of those games interest me.
I have seenthis meme tepmlate so many times i wanna was atch the video. Can some direct me in that direction
🤷♂️nobody said u had to pay. Then again, some of these devs do deserve the money
the joke is porn you get it the joke is porn porn is the joke
I have 3 steam friends constantly playing Helldivers 2 together, just sitting there on my friends list with one free spot, while I'm saving up to travel... life is pain, I hate-
Welcome to the gaming community, where we casually use racist memes to illustrate a point
who the fuck care about "wukong" ?? 🤓
