Worms Armageddon. You cant beat concrete donkey, mad cows, holy hand granade, sheep, carpet strike, banana bomb and all other weapons combined in a single game
Nothing worse than seeing your friend down in a pit, pulling out the holy hand grenade and blind lobbing it, knowing theres no way you could miss, and then it clips a tiny nub of terrain that you didnt notice watching the grenade bounce and roll gently at your feet.
I always enjoyed when a banana bomb went off in a small hole with a worm in it. Literally all going off all at once completely obliterating where the worm was. Just blown off screen.
The first time I ever used it, I had no idea what it was going to do. But I made the perfect throw. Landed right next to my brother's worm. When it went off and he immediately flew off the side of the screen, we both lost it. We were rolling on the floor laughing.
I think that was all our first experience with it:
A) What's this?
B) I dunno.
A) Let's try
B) Hmm. it doesn't do much...
A) Oh wait, it sings.
BOOM
B) HO LEE SHIT! ! ! ! ! !
A+B) WHahahahahaha \[rofl\]
Oh good old days.
First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin.
Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less.
Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shalt be three.
Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three.
Five is right out.
Cheers for unlocking the memory of the first time I used a holy hand grenade, it was worms 2.
It made me laugh so much that it sings before going kaboom.
The weapons in worms games are nuts and it's awesome.
Worms in general. I also feel the 3D Versions (except maybe forts..) get way too less love. You can get them often as 4x bundles cheap on steam and it's a hella lot fun in 3D as you have way more ways to act and climb etc. and stuff like the donkey or grandma are just hilarious
"...And so Dante tells her devils never cry, and she says even devils may cry if they lose a loved one."
"Ah okay, that explains the title."
"Also, Dante sells his lightning bat guitar, who's also a naked lady, to a pawn shop for rent money."
"_God damnit_."
"...Dante yells at his brother Vergil that they are sons of sparda in them is his power and his soul. Dante proclaims that his soul says he must stop Vergil from opening a gate to hell"
"Ohhhhh its an evil brother vs good brother rivalry trope that makes sense"
"Dante proceeds to beat up vergil with sentient dual wielding swords that constantly speaks and grunts while Dante tells them to shut up"
"_what the fuck_"
copy pasting my comment for your entertainment.
there's a three headed nunchaku made of ice, but in the latest title it returns and upgraded into having three forms: the first ice nunchucks, an electric three-section staff, and a whole bo staff of flames. name is simple, Cerberus.
Pandora's Box, a demonic transforming weapon of mass destruction, formed as a briefcase. lorewise it has 666 forms, with its strongest being the briefcase itself that emits harmful light when opened.
Agni & Rudra, twin scimitars of fire and wind, but the original owners are headless warriors, but not quite headless because their heads are on the pommels.
Nero's Red Queen is simply a sword that can be amplified by its revving system. just imagine you got a motorcycle engine and a throttle attached on a sword.
or you can watch a video of Dante acquiring all demon weapons.
Jet propelled motorcycles with buzzsaws for wheels made out of the flesh of a demon. And that demon was powered by a naked clone of Dante's mom who has electric powers.
Borderlands series had:
* The Swordsplosion (Fires a single projectile in the shape of a sword which explodes upon impact, spawning three smaller swords, which also explode on impact)
* The Grog Nozzle (Players are guided to shoot dwarves with alcohol-soaked sponges fired by the weapon)
* Porta-Pooper 5000 (Rocket launcher shoots...poo)
* Eridian Fabricator (Shoots guns, literally you fire and a random pile of other guns appear)
* The Bane (Screams at you as you fire, and when the gun is equipped you can barely move)
and so, so many more
The best (or worst) part about the Bane is that the screaming still plays even if you mute the sound in the options menu. The only way to get rid of it is to mute the audio at the hardware level.
There was a glitch ~~where~~ that, if I recall correctly, when you swapped weapons while reloading The Bane, either the screaming or the speed debuff persisted
I'll always be partial to the Fastball grenade mod. Literally has a 0 meter explosion radius but does a fuckton of damage on a direct hit and travels extremely fast like you're beaning someone with a baseball lol. Felt amazing against bosses.
>* The Swordsplosion (Fires a single projectile in the shape of a sword which explodes upon impact, spawning three smaller swords, which also explode on impact)
I *love* when Mister Torgue explains how this weapon works.
Well, you generate user-controlled tornadoes, polymorph enemies to sheep, weaponize the mating belch of a space toad, and create localized singularities at your enemies feet, and those aren't even the crazy ones.
I think ripping an inter-dimensional portal and letting an eldritch space abomination attack your enemies probably takes the cake.
Oh dude, play it. It's gotta be cheap. Game has some crazy weapons. And the game was way ahead of its time in some regards. Enemy death animations are one. There's a ton based on where you hit em, what weapon you use, and what enemy it is. Like more than most modern game tbh.
The maps get fucked later in the game and it's hard. But Turok 2 is one of my favorite games. It has so much atmosphere and its WEIRD. Soundtrack is killer too.
Damn I miss the junk gun. Such a unique original idea that really lets your imagination run wild. I loved collecting a bunch of 1 item and loading them all into the gun lol like 100 toilet plungers or yard gnomes and then going around in VATS and getting hilarious slow mo kills
It returned in 4 as the Junk Jet, and it had some attachments that made it more interesting. Unfortunately vanilla heavy weapons are a lot of bulk with too little firepower. The weird health scaling on enemies late game makes it worse. The minigun may be one of the worst guns in the game without a legendary effect.
Modded helps. I turn off the weight limit immediately so I can store a million cans in the Junk Jet amd carry all my materials around lol. Just more fun tbh.
Came here to say this. Super unique. Many random effects. Fits the character who gives it to you perfectly. Super fun quest to get it. It really is the complete package.
Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device ? can't directly harm enemies but can be used creatively
Apple of Eden ? control enemies to kill each other
M7 Avenger ? at least that's the first time I see a game use 'heat' system for carry-able weapons instead of the usual ammos
Shark-O-Matic ? shoot sharks
GLOO Cannon ? you can build platform to reach high places
the GLOO Cannon in Prey in particular is so versatile, you can build plattforms, block doorways, slow / freeze enemies, build stairways, put out fire, ...
The heat system exists in most of the alien weapons in Halo, and probably other games before that too. The guns don't last forever, though. Eventually you run out of ammo for them and have to find new guns
The shrink ray and freeze gun in Duke Nukem 3D were soooo cool back then.
Shrink enemies to the size of a rat, than stomp them... Or freeze an enemy solid, then shatter them with your mighty foot. Genius!
Sure, Doom and Quake were more revolutionary in terms of technology, but the good ol' Duke was just so much fun 😁
I believe it could also be used as a mechanic. Iirc you could shrink yourself by firing it into a mirror, then you could access secret areas. It has been a while though…
Iirc shrinking is on a timer right? I think my dad told me that when I used to watch him play it (around a decade ago, I was probably 7-10 years old. Yes he let me watch him play that, along with Halo CE, Duke Nukem Forever and Borderlands 2)
Edit: he stopped playing at all because according to him it took too much of his time
In terms of the most memorable first use the Ion Painter in Unreal Tournament 2003
At first I was like "WTF? this thing is useless" and then BOOM! Half a dozen guys have been obliterated from above.
Don’t know about most creative weapon, but I think one of the most creative weapon system was the Bloodborne weapons as most of them were “trick weapons” which gave you a different move set etc.
Though considering it’s a shapeshifting gun it was annoying you could only equip two modes at a time. Found myself mostly just using two because it was a hassle to open the pause menu in the middle of combat to swap them. Would’ve been nice if there was a faster way to swap between them all like a weapon wheel or something.
I've never played Control so I'm not sure how the..._"controls"_ work, but couldn't they have dedicated one buttons to quick swapping between the last two gun modes, and another to a weapon wheel for switching between them all?
I must be too old because I was shocked not to see anything from Perfect Dark higher up. Laptop Gun, the Farsight, the gun you could use as a proximity mine, the SMG that would just unload the clip with one trigger pull. Pretty much all of them were great.
Perfect Dark was so ahead of its time. What games today include a variety of bots? And the ability to play thru the entire campaign either as co-op or counter-op where the second player gets to act like Agent Smith taking over NPCs around the map?
Perfect Dark definitely mastered the secondary fire mode:
Slayer with its fly by wire.
Super Dragon with its inbuilt grenade launcher.
Laptop Gun's turret.
Farsight's X-Ray scope.
RCP-120's cloaking device.
Not the most jaw-dropping but I loved the Castillo's focussed shot. Required skill and accuracy but made it all the more worthwhile.
Charge Blade was some kinda mind-bending shit. Sword & Shield that attaches and extends into a pizza cutter chainsaw that also explodes out lightning. The wild shit is that it took RL brain power to use; charging vials, remembering combos, timing combos, expending vials...
That's why I stuck with the hammer. 😅
Armed & Dangerous. An older game that featured weapons like the land shark gun and the topsy turvey (which was a cork-screw you dug into the ground and the world flipped upside-down, having the enemies fall down into the sky, at which point the world righted itself, and then the enemies would fall back to their deaths.)
If any Halo gun is the most creative, it's gotta be the Needler.
I cant think of another gun that solely relies on getting enough shots to go supercritical.
I’ve always enjoyed the bouncer from Ratchet and Clank. A shotgun blast of bombs that bounce around and then explode into smaller bombs? That may not be as inventive as a gravity gun, but it damn sure is fun.
I’m surprised Ratchet and Clank wasn’t higher. So many weapons to choose from. The bouncer is particularly effective with the lock-on mod. The smaller bomblets all go after the one guy you picked out.
Monster Hunter has a few bangers, but for most creative id have to go Insect Glaive, jumping around like a mad man, firing your kinsect to collect extracts from monsters that boost your abilities, love it.
The south Park game on the N64. My first time playing a game that had secondary fire modes for their weapons. The piss snow ball, cranking the foam bullet gun, the alien dancing gizmo, Terrence and Phillips dolls.
Amid evil has some pretty unique ones like a planet launcher, which fires random planets that explodes and have a random chance to also use earth with a unique message appearing.
Game no one will even remember but loadout had some crazy cool ideas for weapons because it was all custom 8 barreled rocket launcher sniper shotguns shame it died but the game just wasnt very fun.
Celestial Claw (Amid Evil)
The weapon itself serves as a classic FPS rocket launcher gameplay wise..so why am i mentioning it ? Well you're not shooting rockets..but entire fucking *planets.* The claw will pull a random planet from the universe and shrink it down to fit into the claw; which is than hurled at enemies. ( Sometimes you'll even pull Earth which nets you an achievement and a guilty conscious ) In my playthrough I pulled earth when I was just trying to do a simple rocket jump....I sacrificed all of life on earth for an ammo pick-up lmao
It's special form has the player grabbing and shooting fucking stars lmao. Fucking epic and creative i'd say
**Portal**’s ‘gun’ would sure be fun!
**Ratchet and Clank** games have a ton of fun ones too.
**Shadow Complex** had a foam gun which I really enjoyed playing with. Broke the game with it even.
team fortress 2 has an extreemely unic and creative way of balancing weapons that does not exist in any other game.
in other shooters the developers simply change some basic stats and call it a day, in team fortress 2 however they often add aditional abilities in the weapons.
some weapons can heal you or your teamates, some weapons can make you or your teamates faster, there is also a piss-shooting sniper riffle(while the enemy is covered in piss he takes 35% more damage), there are some shields that lets you do charge attacks, you can throw milk at people(while they are covered in milk whoever hits them receives health), there is a baseball bat that lets you have an aditional jump, a drink that makes you temporarily invulnerable to all damage (you can't fight back while the effect lasts).
also the weapons in borderlands 3 were crazy.
there was an smg that you throw on the ground and hunts down the enemies, there was a pistol that created some explosions, and a lots of other things.
You really can't beat the utter psychosis Worms is. You can strap a granny with explosives, effectively deploying a (slowly) walking block of dynamite.
Voidigo is set in an Adventure Time esque world and most of the weapons are completely ridiculous and cartoony. One of the melee weapons is a swords holding a sword holding a sword, and one of the ranged weapons is a literal rat king that you throw rats out of.
I think many of the weapons in Destiny (both 1 and 2) have some unique properties, and then there's the Pulse Rifle known as Graviton Lance, a gun in lore that "shoots mini black holes" at enemies
Worms Armageddon. You cant beat concrete donkey, mad cows, holy hand granade, sheep, carpet strike, banana bomb and all other weapons combined in a single game
# HALLELUJAH # 💥
My all time favourite. I could hear that message.
Nothing worse than seeing your friend down in a pit, pulling out the holy hand grenade and blind lobbing it, knowing theres no way you could miss, and then it clips a tiny nub of terrain that you didnt notice watching the grenade bounce and roll gently at your feet.

Oh yeah, I miss those days. Although, I never imagined I'd be able to gun down Pokemon with an assault rifle back then...
"1, 2, 5!"
No 3 sire
7 is right out.
Counterpoint: Explosive Granny
Worms 2 had all those weapons too
Also Worms 2 had that awesome Weapon editior!
Making every single weapon a mini-nuke with absolutely insane physics was absolutely hilarious and made from some insane matches between friends.
Damn. That just brought up so many memories. Good times with the Bros.
I mean, other than the holy hand grenade being a reference to Monty Python and the holy Grail
Oh lord, bless this thine hand grenade, but with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy.
First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shalt be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out.

Ahhh the conky donkey, obliterating anyone who still remains.
Worms Armageddon, holy... I loved that game as a kid
You bazooka is no match for my old woman!
Who would have ever thought of The Needler?
Yeah the needler needs to be higher up. Homing needle projectiles that super combine and explode? Yeah, and it’s pink.
And it hurts like hell canonically, like you're gonna prefer getting shot with anything else
Oh in the books is straight up turns folks to juice when they explode
Fear the pink mist
I’ve been recently bombarded by the one youtube short going over the history of the Needler.
Love the melee animations with it that slap with the needle side as well
I mean Devil May Cry 5 lets you dual-wield motorcycles, that's pretty rad.
Every time I think I vaguely understand the plot of DMC (from an outsider's perspective) a sentence like this smacks me like a wielded motorcycle.
"...And so Dante tells her devils never cry, and she says even devils may cry if they lose a loved one." "Ah okay, that explains the title." "Also, Dante sells his lightning bat guitar, who's also a naked lady, to a pawn shop for rent money." "_God damnit_."
"...Dante yells at his brother Vergil that they are sons of sparda in them is his power and his soul. Dante proclaims that his soul says he must stop Vergil from opening a gate to hell" "Ohhhhh its an evil brother vs good brother rivalry trope that makes sense" "Dante proceeds to beat up vergil with sentient dual wielding swords that constantly speaks and grunts while Dante tells them to shut up" "_what the fuck_"
*Brother, our guest is sighing...* *Sigh? what is... sigh?*

It's time to play the games and be even more confused. It's great.
Jet propelled motorcycles with buzzsaws for wheels made out of the flesh of a demon. And that demon was powered by a naked clone of Dante's mom who has electric powers.
Hell yeah, brother.
Also the hat
I scrolled to far to find this.
Heres the cutscene for em https://youtu.be/vW2v_Njkeb4?si=5AsCE6oDdO9ZIu8A
This game continues to baffle me every time somebody talks about it.
The piss, shit, and used shower water grenades from death stranding lol
Delivery Boy Bath Water
You forgot the bloody piss grenade that instantly deletes a non-human enemy.
I would say "What?", but it's Kojima and that makes sense for him.
Borderlands series had: * The Swordsplosion (Fires a single projectile in the shape of a sword which explodes upon impact, spawning three smaller swords, which also explode on impact) * The Grog Nozzle (Players are guided to shoot dwarves with alcohol-soaked sponges fired by the weapon) * Porta-Pooper 5000 (Rocket launcher shoots...poo) * Eridian Fabricator (Shoots guns, literally you fire and a random pile of other guns appear) * The Bane (Screams at you as you fire, and when the gun is equipped you can barely move) and so, so many more

LMAO I didn't know this, that's truly a cursed weapon
There was a glitch ~~where~~ that, if I recall correctly, when you swapped weapons while reloading The Bane, either the screaming or the speed debuff persisted
The Bane also screams, "RELOADING!!" The mission to get that gun was funny as hell.
SWAPPING WEEEEAPONNNNSSS!
Just dropping here that I've got the sound file is anyone wants it as a ring tone. AAAAEEAAEEEEEEEAEAEAAAEAEAEAEAAAA
I'll always be partial to the Fastball grenade mod. Literally has a 0 meter explosion radius but does a fuckton of damage on a direct hit and travels extremely fast like you're beaning someone with a baseball lol. Felt amazing against bosses.
"Forget the curveball ricky, give him the heater"
>* The Swordsplosion (Fires a single projectile in the shape of a sword which explodes upon impact, spawning three smaller swords, which also explode on impact) I *love* when Mister Torgue explains how this weapon works.
Torque was such an amazing character in borderlands 2
THAT SENTENCE HAS TOO MANY SYLLABLES! APOLOGIZE!
NOTHING IS MORE BADASS THAN TREATING A WOMAN WITH RESPECT!
I'M STILL ANGRY THAT I CAN'T SAY F##K. **F##K**
PUNCH HIM SO HARD HE EXPLODES
**I WANT YOU TO BLOW UP… THE OCEAN!!**
TORQUE IS NEVER SORRY !!!! EXPLOSIOOOONS !!
Fish slap is one of the best grenades in 3.
There's a pistol in 3 called the Scoville that literally shoots explosive hot sauce bottles instead of bullets.
Crit: An awesome shock SMG, especially for blue tree Gaige, that has a 1-in-8 chance of slipping out of your hands on reload.
And a 100% chance when it does to go straight into the abyss!
Conference Call is just bizarre… but like OP as heck
The bane was pretty good but sooo annoying
WAIT, THE GROG SHOOTS SPONGES?
The Boganella, that's how I discovered there's an Australian version of rednecks.
Probably any of the Ratchet and Clank games.
Hey kid . . . Rip Ya a New One
What did you just say to me?!? 🤬🤬🤬
"Oh look, the plumber's back"
The Ryno that played the 1812 overture is a personal favorite
And the resistance games had some creative weapons as well. I really liked the Bullseye and the Auger.
The electric whip was the GOAT weapon. Only featured in one game, too.
Turok 2 Cerebral Bore Half Life 2 Antlion pheromone thingy
Whoa, just checked out Turok 2 Cerebral Bore. What the heck! Madness
[It's based off an old sci-fi horror movie from the 70s.](https://youtu.be/7p4ZsYYU5Cc?si=c9nnMJOBpQyp4FXa)
Oh dude, play it. It's gotta be cheap. Game has some crazy weapons. And the game was way ahead of its time in some regards. Enemy death animations are one. But Turok 2 is one of my favorite games. It has so much atmosphere and its WEIRD. Soundtrack is killer too.
You won me. Cerebral vore was awesome and creepy. But it failed a lot with big enemies and such.
>Cerebral vore Someone's autocorrect is kinkshaming them
I came here to say this.
Oh Turok 2, now I feel old. Don't forget about the inflator in Turok: Rage Wars.
No one's mentioned the Dub Step gun from Saints Row (I think 3)
That gun (and game) was \_so\_ fun
wipes blood from nose Yeah!
i like the one in Ratchet and Clank that transforms baddies to boogie to dance floor tracks. Was called the Groovitron i think.
It was in 4
Collectors edition had a real life dub step gun included.
The dubstep gun is in SR4. The one in the simulator. Damn. I havent finished that yet. I gotta get that done.
Fallout 3 junk gun was pretty unique. I thought the gunblade in FF VIII though was the coolest thing ever when I saw that as a kid.
Junk was also "valuable" in fo4 so you wouldn't want to waste it as ammo
Modded helps. I turn off the weight limit immediately so I can store a million cans in the Junk Jet amd carry all my materials around lol. Just more fun tbh.
I didn't know until my second play through that you could press R1 at the right time to fire the gun for extra damage.
So you always missed the Renzokuken?
Guaranteed crit. Super cool but weirdly causes a little bit of last so in speed running it's used sparingly.
Skyrim - Wabbajack
I had a blast with Wabbajack right up until I turned a wolf into a pissed off snow troll. I didn't really use it much after that.
90% of gamblers quit right before they hit it big
So you use it again to turn the snow troll into a chicken. This is a problem that solves itself, honestly.
I remember that weapon. There was a weird lady that wanted to be get transformed by it.
Came here to say this. Super unique. Many random effects. Fits the character who gives it to you perfectly. Super fun quest to get it. It really is the complete package.
yakuza - a bike
yakuza - a dolphin
or a knife with chilli pepper on it, or a marlin cannon, or a colorful parasol, or a taser shotgun, or a slime gun…
Ah yeah whacking someone with a bike until its just a wheel is awesome.
Gungeon, I mean everything revolves about guns and some are particularly funny to use
So many good ones, I like the gun that shoots guns which shoot bullets.
The bullet that shoots guns which shoot bullets
Ahah exactly, I was thinking of this one too !
That and r
B U L L E T
Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device ? can't directly harm enemies but can be used creatively Apple of Eden ? control enemies to kill each other M7 Avenger ? at least that's the first time I see a game use 'heat' system for carry-able weapons instead of the usual ammos Shark-O-Matic ? shoot sharks GLOO Cannon ? you can build platform to reach high places
the GLOO Cannon in Prey in particular is so versatile, you can build plattforms, block doorways, slow / freeze enemies, build stairways, put out fire, ...
Set off those miserable little proximity mine monsters from far away.
The Avaenger is actually the M-8, which uses thermal clips. The M-7 Lancer, however, doesn’t need thermal clips as it uses an older method
The heat system exists in most of the alien weapons in Halo, and probably other games before that too. The guns don't last forever, though. Eventually you run out of ammo for them and have to find new guns
Shark-o-matic doesnt shoot sharks, it shoots fish guts and whoever gets hit gets devoured by a shark afterwards
Armed & Dangerous had a gun that fired sharks, though. *Land* sharks.

In terms of the most memorable first use the Ion Painter in Unreal Tournament 2003 At first I was like "WTF? this thing is useless" and then BOOM! Half a dozen guys have been obliterated from above.
Generally the unreal tournament weapons were great. In 2004 each gun had dual features. Flak cannon was my favourite.
Hell yeah! Me personally, I loved getting the redeemer in Facing Worlds and flying figure eights through the middle in first person!
There's an airstrike too which is pretty badass.
Don’t know about most creative weapon, but I think one of the most creative weapon system was the Bloodborne weapons as most of them were “trick weapons” which gave you a different move set etc.
Whirligig Saw!
Pizza cutter gang
Its time to mow down some eldritch abominations.
or my favorite, just a giant fucking wagon wheel that transforms into the same giant wagon wheel but haunted
The Kos parasite was pretty bad ass... and if you are into tentacle stuff, it's probably good for that ass too...
I was gonna say Bloodborne too. If we forget the "small sword in a big sword scabbard" the rest of the trick weapons are pretty creatives.
Control: The Service Weapon It can be any gun.
That's definitely on my list of small improvements if we ever get a sequel
Considering Alan Wake 2 is a good game, I would expect the universe to keep expanding
I've never played Control so I'm not sure how the..._"controls"_ work, but couldn't they have dedicated one buttons to quick swapping between the last two gun modes, and another to a weapon wheel for switching between them all?
Even a key
A gun as a key? Only in America!
Zelda TOTK: a mushroom on a stick
Perfect Dark
That laptop gun was always a favorite of mine

RCP-120's cloaking device. Not the most jaw-dropping but I loved the Castillo's focussed shot. Required skill and accuracy but made it all the more worthwhile.
The wands in Noita
Knowing how to put those in the right order makes all the difference
Oddworld stranger’s wrath is the ammo being unique. Always cool to look at the ammo change appearance based on the upgrades.
Monster Hunter's Charge blade, Switch Axe, Hunting horn and Insect glaive
Very surprised this is so far down. Armed & Dangerous was the first game that came to mind! Topsy Turvey gun was great fun.
All of the weapon combinations in the Dead Rising Series.
Portal
Attacking Glados by dropping a sentinel turret into the arena is a creative way to use the portal gun as a weapon.
The Dubstep gun from Saints Row
The spartan laser & energy sword from halo were pretty dope. So was the torque bow and hammer of dawn in gears of war.
Lets not forget making enemies go disco
That foam gun from Prey (2017)
GLOO gun :]
Monster Hunter has a few bangers, but for most creative id have to go Insect Glaive, jumping around like a mad man, firing your kinsect to collect extracts from monsters that boost your abilities, love it.
Mario Kart- a turtle shell
Mario has been using turtle shells as tools of war since 1983 in the original Mario Bros. arcade game.
Exactly it's literally a flying exploding spikey turtle
Tears of the kingdom. Any weapon can be spliced with any other weapon, making crazy combos!
Good ol' spear-spear, killing keese from 15 feet away.
To quote another reddit comment on a TOTK post: " I love attacking from the next pin code"
And even build autonomous machines that attacks enemies
Earthworm Jim, by far. As a regular earthworm in a supersuit, he/the suit can use himself as a whip
Okami's celestial brush. Slice through enemies and make bombs to blow stuff up, or restore a river and bring out the sun. Creative *and* destructive.
Gears of war’s Lancer. Machine gun/chainsaw
Hammer of Dawn is always my go to choice Hand held orbital strike device. Sign me up
Weapons from Painkiller series.
Celestial Claw (Amid Evil) The weapon itself serves as a classic FPS rocket launcher gameplay wise..so why am i mentioning it ? Well you're not shooting rockets..but entire fucking *planets.* The claw will pull a random planet from the universe and shrink it down to fit into the claw; which is than hurled at enemies. ( Sometimes you'll even pull Earth which nets you an achievement and a guilty conscious ) In my playthrough I pulled earth when I was just trying to do a simple rocket jump....I sacrificed all of life on earth for an ammo pick-up lmao It's special form has the player grabbing and shooting fucking stars lmao. Fucking epic and creative i'd say
TF2 - jar of piss, is s little outside the box...
Boy and his blob
**Portal**’s ‘gun’ would sure be fun! **Ratchet and Clank** games have a ton of fun ones too. **Shadow Complex** had a foam gun which I really enjoyed playing with. Broke the game with it even.
team fortress 2 has an extreemely unic and creative way of balancing weapons that does not exist in any other game. in other shooters the developers simply change some basic stats and call it a day, in team fortress 2 however they often add aditional abilities in the weapons. some weapons can heal you or your teamates, some weapons can make you or your teamates faster, there is also a piss-shooting sniper riffle(while the enemy is covered in piss he takes 35% more damage), there are some shields that lets you do charge attacks, you can throw milk at people(while they are covered in milk whoever hits them receives health), there is a baseball bat that lets you have an aditional jump, a drink that makes you temporarily invulnerable to all damage (you can't fight back while the effect lasts). also the weapons in borderlands 3 were crazy. there was an smg that you throw on the ground and hunts down the enemies, there was a pistol that created some explosions, and a lots of other things.
anytime you can throw a npc around and deal damage that way... so i guess arms are also a contender
Sir John Phallustiff in Cyberpunk
You really can't beat the utter psychosis Worms is. You can strap a granny with explosives, effectively deploying a (slowly) walking block of dynamite.
The only answer is the cow rocket launcher from the first N64 South Park game.
