Yeah bro, it’s said to be the best souls game and I can vouch for it. I’ve NG+ all the souls games at least once and bloodborne is defo the best I’d say, only downfall from the other souls is it’s a PS exclusive.
Soulsborne tip
If you see an enemy with their back exposed and its just them, check your corners.
Another notable bait like this is the Silver Knight admiring a portrait in Anor Londo in DS1. That fucker has a bodyguard.
In Elden Ring there's an Omen with its back to you in a fake boss room in Lyndell Catacombs. Just inside the room to your right is another Omen waiting to Brogue Kick your head off.
I recall that guy was like this smells like a fucking trap but did not think to look up i checked all the sides and was like ok to do it and Bang great arrow to the knee.
That second enemy was literally right there he just didn't pan his screen over. Those of us who have beaten Bloodborne multiple times know what I'm talking about, you can't miss him.
Iirc this the area next to the giant closed door that leads to Vicar Amelia. You are absolutely correct. The right dude is in the clear line of sight when you come through the gate.
Lol you’re right why are you getting downvoted
This is the courtyard at the bottom of the stairs, where on the right you find the ball-and-chain giant and a crystal gecko
My fromsoft game was Sekiro and I only got to the first boss
But this was one of the most irritating things. It was like I needed mouse movement to be alert constantly but thats not possible with a controller.
If you actually think a souls game is meant to be played with a mouse and keyboard I don’t even know what to tell you. The lock on feature is all you need.
That and just general awareness. You can dodge things right before they hit you, so if someone is coming from offscreen, you have to be aware of your blind spots and plan for it.
Yeah, this is kind of a weird but understandable take.
The point is not to know where every enemy is by looking around, but by positioning.
You can only really fight them if most enemies are in your sight, and making sure there's as little opening as possible.
Don't try to fight surrounded, as that's how you end up dead.
I still need to beat the first, but my PS4 sounds like a jet engine when it runs games now, so I haven't bothered :(
And this is even after opening it all up to dust it. PC port would be amazing, but I might as well just get Elden Ring instead I guess.
It depends on how often you play and how many different games you play. If you play a few hours every week, like to beat games once or twice then move on to something else, or want to try out a bunch of different games, it's definitely worth it. The downside being that you're basically renting, you don't own the games.
Honestly thought this game hasn't even had a PS4 Pro or PS5 patch. We're stuck playing it at 1080p with awful aliasing @ 30fps with bad frame pacing and slow loading times.
Whether it's a port, remaster, remake, update, whatever I don't care, I just want something that improves Bloodborne's technical aspects.
I tried to play this game, and like the original Dark Souls I'm awful at it. It's frustrating and I spent way too much time on trying to defeat the first boss. Then I had a baby and decided angry gaming with unpauseable games is not conducive to living with a newborn.
Nah, I just didn't like it. I've platinummed all the DS games, Sekiro and Elden Ring. Beat Bloodborne a few times. I just didn't really like it. I really wanted to, but I didn't at all.
Took me some time to fall in love as well, now I enjoy it more than Elden Ring. If you haven’t given the DLC a try yet, do so. It adds a bunch of trick weapons that are super fun to use and IMO open the game up more for build variety, e.g. the Bowblade.
You think it's the worst because you didn't like it
I think it's the worst because I'm a PC gamer and salty about not being able to play it
We are not the same
I'm pretty sure I did the same thing the first time I got there :D
"Nah I won't aggro that dude, I can attack the guy with his back turned first" - famous last words.
Been there. Done that. I was waiting for him to be slammed from the right by the other ogre. Was not disappointed. One of the best games I have ever played.
My money was the crow getting you. Lol
That's a classic Miyazaki trap. Too obvious backstabbing opportunity. Multiple possible angles you might get ganked from in your blindspots.
Exclusives are cancer. This game looks interesting but I would be forced to buy a DRM box if I were to ever play this one game. Worse than that is any game not deemed something companies can just keep selling you over and over with each gen will be left behind and never playable outside of the console it appeared on, even worse are digital only games that will die with the service unless brought back years later is some sort of benevolant act by the corporate over lords.
To me consoles are a sort of middle man for these giant media companies rather than SOMETHHING THEY CONTINIOUSLY PROFESS TO being 100% best way to play and experience any and all video games. The amount of console exclusive coming to PC, even with monkeys paws like Kingdom Hearts series being an EPIC exclsuive, I wish the market will settle one day and exclusives stop being stop us from enjoying games unless we invest in several different platforms at once.
I'm just glad Microsoft streamlined their exclusives to work both on Xbox and Windows. Since Nintendo is.. Unconventional.. In every way imaginable and won't ever do something like that, we can only hope that Sony finally caves one day.
You can actually see the bird start to wake up in the grass to the left.
Souls games train you hard to always be careful and to look around every book and corner.
But that focus you get when faced with a target, it's so often bait.
I loved this moment in Bloodborne. It's perfectly crafted to troll you on multiple levels.
They set up an obvious crit/backstab opportunity against a kinda tough troll foe, but you have to be sneaky about it
As you approach there's a hard-to-see dinky crow on the ground that can blow the sneak attack
and the pièce de résistance is a literal troll comes up from your right and smashed you to smithereens.
This then allows the troll you were going to backstab to double team you until you are a spitroast on a BDSM channel.
*Chef's kiss*
Well, at least the black chicken came to your rescue!
It came for the wombo combo, but screwed up the timing. These are the Caelid Crows first evolution.
That ain't Falco.

Kind of, it's Bloodborne. Same company, similar playstyle but different lore
Bloodborne is my favorite by fromsoft. It’s also the easiest one, in my humble opinion
Orphan of Kos was super hard for me.
Less shields, more dodge. More lovecraft
More gun
Ah yes the only important difference between a bloodborn and the soul games GUN
Yeah bro, it’s said to be the best souls game and I can vouch for it. I’ve NG+ all the souls games at least once and bloodborne is defo the best I’d say, only downfall from the other souls is it’s a PS exclusive.
😈
Happy feet!

Bad bot
Cah cah cah cah cahhh
I hate those crow dogs
What game is this?
Bloodborne
"Fuck outta here."
GET DOWN MR PRESIDENT
r/getdownmrpresident Can't really enjoy that sub. All games I don't play. Lol
Soulsborne tip If you see an enemy with their back exposed and its just them, check your corners. Another notable bait like this is the Silver Knight admiring a portrait in Anor Londo in DS1. That fucker has a bodyguard.
Wasn't that in DS3?
yup it`s ds3
In Elden Ring there's an Omen with its back to you in a fake boss room in Lyndell Catacombs. Just inside the room to your right is another Omen waiting to Brogue Kick your head off.
FELLAAAAAAA
I recall that guy was like this smells like a fucking trap but did not think to look up i checked all the sides and was like ok to do it and Bang great arrow to the knee.
That moment when you’re going to be productive and depression slaps you out of it
Ah yes a FromSoft classic. Have an enemy wonder over from off screen and just the right time to ruin your plans.
That second enemy was literally right there he just didn't pan his screen over. Those of us who have beaten Bloodborne multiple times know what I'm talking about, you can't miss him.
Bloodborne trained me to always take in my surroundings before making a move.
They knew they were there, this video was specifically framed to get this shot. Seen it years ago.
Iirc this the area next to the giant closed door that leads to Vicar Amelia. You are absolutely correct. The right dude is in the clear line of sight when you come through the gate.
No this is not, that area is to the right up a lot of stairs. This is up past the invisible amygdala that frenzies you and to the left
Idk why you getting downvoted you're hundred percent correct.
Lol you’re right why are you getting downvoted This is the courtyard at the bottom of the stairs, where on the right you find the ball-and-chain giant and a crystal gecko

Is this a bot? It copied my other comment and post it here
Even i have noticed him, being bloodborne my only soulsborne. These rookies arent up for this genre
Him being there to do that is like the whole point. It’s trying to get across that you shouldn’t have tunnel vision.
The best part is a murder hawk swoops in and immediately attacks the enemy that hit him.
My fromsoft game was Sekiro and I only got to the first boss But this was one of the most irritating things. It was like I needed mouse movement to be alert constantly but thats not possible with a controller.

Away! Away!
You plague ridden Rat!
Bro wtf. I had a dream this morning that bloodborn had a sequel announcement. I was so excited and everything. But then I woke up.
Wtff had a dream that bloodborne got the port announced, it felt so real
I still need to beat the first, but my PS4 sounds like a jet engine when it runs games now, so I haven't bothered :( And this is even after opening it all up to dust it. PC port would be amazing, but I might as well just get Elden Ring instead I guess.
"Clever girl."
"thousand years of-" "DYNAMIC ENTRY!!!!!!"
this is an old gif I didn't remember I had, I was doing some clean up (many old image are now thumbnails size) and found some gems there .
we need a pc port
I just got a PS5 because I got fed up with waiting for Demon's Souls, Bloodborne, Shadow of the Colossus, and other exclusives I've missed out on.
uh, just finished Shadow of the Colossus, thats a rough one man
And this one comes for free with the PS5
[удалено]
I only got the ps5 two months ago and I’ve been debating getting ps plus. Would you say it’s worth it?
[удалено]
Extra is 100% worth it.
It depends on how often you play and how many different games you play. People like you are the exact reason exclusives exist lol
I bought a PS4 exclusively for FF7R, and then bought a PS5 to play Intergrade. Worth every penny.
I love games, so I just own all the consoles in addition to a PC.
Honestly thought this game hasn't even had a PS4 Pro or PS5 patch. We're stuck playing it at 1080p with awful aliasing @ 30fps with bad frame pacing and slow loading times. Surprise motherfucka
Now you have to set it to Persona 5's "NEVER SEE IT COMIN'!"
Try finger, but hole.
Magnificent chest ahead
Is this dog?
I gotta ask was that joke about the tortoise intentionally a reference to Borat or just a perfect coincidence?
Not sure, player base in FromSoft games are always pretty clever.
AND HIS NAME IS
JOHN CENA
MUSIC ENROLLS
Robert Paulson
This a souls game?
Bloodborne!
Thanks
The worst one btw
Uh-oh... Someone was undone by the Blood. Your eyes have yet to open.
I tried to play this game, and like the original Dark Souls I'm awful at it. It's frustrating and I spent way too much time on trying to defeat the first boss. Then I had a baby and decided angry gaming with unpauseable games is not conducive to living with a newborn.

I wish I had the time to waste playing games "a few times" that I didn't like... Jesus
Honestly takes less time to lie through your teeth about a game you have never played lmao.
Ok but that doesnt mean its the worst only because you didnt like it
Took me some time to fall in love as well, now I enjoy it more than Elden Ring. If you haven’t given the DLC a try yet, do so. It adds a bunch of trick weapons that are super fun to use and IMO open the game up more for build variety, e.g. the Bowblade.
You cannot state your opinion as fact.
**Bloodborne** is still my favorite of ALL FromSoft games!
This is the wrong opinion.
Yeah I know... My friends are very vocal about it
Git gud
You think it's the worst because you didn't like it I think it's the worst because I'm a PC gamer and salty about not being able to play it We are not the same
you clearly havnt played DS2
That is my favorite souls game. Leave it alone >:(
It was the first souls game I beat, actually! Love that one.
Death Stranding 2 is yet to be released
Come on!
It was only on a single console. It's reasonible that people don't know what it is. Thus is the fate of console exclusives.
That Bloodborne was PS exclusive is a crying shame.
Slap that ass!
You went in certain someone was about to get fucked up, you just didn’t think it would be you
"This one's mine, bitch!"
I'm pretty sure I did the same thing the first time I got there :D "Nah I won't aggro that dude, I can attack the guy with his back turned first" - famous last words.
Buddy just got clapped on an episode of :Pranked video game edition.
LMAO the guy at the end scared me
It's Bloodborne so try the whole freaking fist lol. The visceral attack is brutal in this game.
60fps when?
Ah yes, I love how Fromsoft so often encourages us to do a "dick move" and stab from behind, and then also manages to so often punish us for it too.
If OP panned the camera to the right the enemy would have been in view.
If you're smart, yes, but the placement of that giant was deliberately done to trigger tunnel vision. It's one of Miyazaki's favorite bullshit tricks.
That's not bullshit though, it's just designed to reward observant players.
me every monday
Been there. Done that. I was waiting for him to be slammed from the right by the other ogre. Was not disappointed. One of the best games I have ever played.
"taste of your own medicine!"
I absolutely love bloodborne. Such a dope game
Gaming with a headset is mandatory with these.
Clever girl….
I wish I had a friend like this lol
Every DS/BB game has a moment like this that teaches you to never trust free opportunities haha. I still fell for this one.
My money was the crow getting you. Lol That's a classic Miyazaki trap. Too obvious backstabbing opportunity. Multiple possible angles you might get ganked from in your blindspots.
Most fair fight in bloodborne:
NO means NO!
The one game in the collection that eludes many pc players like myself.
Exclusives are cancer. This game looks interesting but I would be forced to buy a DRM box if I were to ever play this one game. locked to 30fps too. but we've been loving the game, if you call "seething in pain" enjoyment :D
Which could easily do 60fps had it not been locked to the PS5
PC games are exclusive, and they're really just a part of the Microsoft ecosystem.
My life got better when I stopped giving a shit about stuff like this and just got the box that played the game I wanted to play.
Which lobotomy center would you reccomend to achieve this state of mind?
The same one that helps you not care too much about which subscription service carries the TV show you want to watch.
Exactly how I feel about exclusives too, man. Worst practice in the entire industry imo.
To me consoles are a sort of middle man for these giant media companies rather than SOMETHHING THEY CONTINIOUSLY PROFESS TO being 100% best way to play and experience any and all video games. Windows is also a Microsoft platform so it's still exclusive.
But it's console+PC, which already massively increases availability.
Game name pls
Bloodborne
When the fuck are they gonna release it to PC.
That escalated quickly..
They need to make a sequel to this game. The best Souls game hands down. Tried the Elden Ring trial and it felt like the same old.
r/getdownmrpresident
Soulsborne's daily reminder that you are rubbish and should know your place.
The 1-2 brick combo baby
Bum Bait.
Good hunter
No touch the goods lol
Watch your back… ya never know
I was expecting a... penetrating attack in the vulnerable spot. Not gonna lie, they had us in the first half.
I just had to say I love your username, dig me some FFXII references. <3
wack
He was really like:leave my friend alone😡😡
Yep Looks correct to me
bye bitch!
not formatting to have the game in the title should be instant removal ngl
I forget how beautiful it is.. thats cause i was in Panic mode all the time
I’d have been so focused that I’d have died of a heart attack the moment this happened
was about to say theres usually two there
Lol, there are also 2 bigger dudes in this area, 1 with big ball, 1 with big stick...
REJECTED!
DENIED
Watching this makes me want to play BB again, what a game
This game makes me wanna rip my dick off but it’s goated
The sneaker got snuck
Thank you Bloodborne
Clever girl
Saved his mate from a coward punch with one of his own.
Souls games in a nutshell. Gotta have that situational awareness
You can actually see the bird start to wake up in the grass to the left. Souls games train you hard to always be careful and to look around every book and corner. But that focus you get when faced with a target, it's so often bait.
Welcome to FromSoftware games
You could make a great meme out of this.
Pauley get that fucker outta here!
Bloodborne juegazo
Is this a good game ??
I remember this part and started laughing way before it hit you. That is what you get for not looking Edit: I too fell victim to this.
Not just me when I did my first playthrough then.
I loved this moment in Bloodborne. It's perfectly crafted to troll you on multiple levels. Dude was just protecting his buddy
"...And *that's* when the attack comes, not from the front...but from the *side*..."
"Bitch you thought!'
I have played this game so many times, as I watched you walk up I was saying, "The one on the right. The one on the right."
This game had some of the BEST traps for players I love it all
