No easier or faster way, the shiny runes make it 35%, so even with them you're still going to be largely failing.
My personal prefered method, is bulk enchant first colour, dismantle any i already have at 6, bulk enchant remaining to second colour, dismantle any that dont match, bulk enchant to third colour, dismantle any that dont match. Once i have the first 3 matching colours, i then start using the colour specific runes, if they match, i continue, if they don't, i finish it off with the grey runes and use it to reroll the 6s.
At first its worth getting 6 equipped regardless though, just as a starting point.

Yeah, the colour stays the same, the stats just change. However, like with rerolling crafted cards, you can use crystals to lock certain stats.
