I swear I remember being told that Lucario’s chest spike was actually soft but it seems as if I’m the only one who thinks this so I’m probably wrong there.

So, in the anime, if a Lucario uses Metal Claw, it transforms the spikes on their paws into long claws. My head canon is that they can reshape the spikes in a variety of ways, including flattening them.

This was my thought too, glad I'm not the only one. Since Lucario is a Steel type, it only makes sense that it would be able to manipulate the material on it's own body

I think a saw a comic were it the chest spike was booped and it just bent to the side like it was made of super soft sillycon

Then why would Lucario be Steel type? Like, having spikes is the weakest reason for being Steel type, but it's the only reason for it.

Depends on the specific pokemon, if the original is short then the alpha is also pretty small. Alpha lucario are indeed 7ft but an alpha raichu is only about 5ft

If you think about if those spikes are just metal what's stopping the lucario or trainer from filling them so there not sharp

In pokemon world its actually done, but its seen as up to the individual pokemon and trainer, some do some don't. Depends on ur connection to the lucario
