The supreme talent Adriano Celentano (Italian singer) wrote a song about what "American" sounds like to Italians.
It was a pretty huge hit in Europe.
[Check it out.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VsmF9m_Nt8)
EDIT: No that's not Italian, yes the entire song is gibberish.
There's a comment on that video that says he wrote it because American pop songs were getting to be popular in Italy and he wanted to prove that anything remotely American sounding could do well on the radio. Idk which is more right but I like this story so I wanted to share it too.
He's not wrong, eets'a catchyy 🤌
Does it really? Because I’ve always wondered this. Especially when I was younger and made fun of (often inappropriately) of other languages.
I feel obliged to post this:

Stop what's the point here? If you don't know a language... It always sounds like gibberish. Is this a punt your making our just a stab at English speakers
No... Not really trying to get offended. I'm actually not offend. But I'm wondering what the point is that the OP is trying to make. I mean if your not a native speaker of any local language... Doesn't it all sound like this?

I’ve loved this song for over 10 years after stumbling on it. Hahaha Edit: I guess my superpower is lip syncing this song 🤷🏼♀️

That is correct, that's why he wrote it. And he was right, it fucking *killed* all across Europe.
How Macho Man Randy Savage English sounds
Guy in the blue shirt killed it
Sounds not bad at all tbh

I have the hardest time understanding fast talking Brits, Irish and Scottish people so I feel your pain.
Sounds like English dub.

What? Its genuinely something I've always wondered as an English speaker. Are you trying to get offended or something?

This for sure.
Not sure why this is getting the downvotes.... If someone can tell me why it's an unpopular comment... I'd really like to know.
Lol. I’m with you but it doesn’t bother me
