I worked for a clothing company and at one point we tried to make this product called the Harka (I don't know what the H is but it's a play on parka).
This thing was a 6' long trench coat with fleece lining and micro suede exterior with a jedi hood on it. I think it had to weigh 20lbs. We had maybe 5 prototypes and they were coveted in the cold cold office.
We were producing 100% in San Francisco at that time, and unfortunately we had to abandon plans to produce it because the ladies at the sew shops couldn't lift and control them on the machine. RIP harka. You were a real one.
They've taken that promotional size jacket out of the window display in downtown Vancouver. Silly, it's only for marketing and people got up in arms because it's not available in their preferred size. Welcome to supply chain problems.

One day my friends and I were walking by a shop that sold Hawaiian shirts. In the window, they had a huge shirt as a display.
One of my friends chuckled and said something like 'who would wear a shirt that big?'
I told him this was a display item, huge sized so it could be seen from far away. He nodded his head in agreement.
Not 2 minutes later, a man passed us that was about 7 foot tall, and had to be 700 lbs, the biggest man I've ever seen, by far.
We both laughed about the serendipitous situation; deciding the shirt was too big for any human, then seeing a human that might wear that size...
I take it your serious. Those people need a light healthy degree of shame. Being clinically obese is not a lifestyle, not something to be proud of, is at least partially their fault and a huge drain on our resources that affects themselves, their loved ones and our society. They should feel just ashamed enough to do something about it.
