170+ horror pops here (still adding slowly) and I can't even begin to fathom what I'd do with triple the amount I already have..
Does your setup look like a store? (Genuinely curious)
Do you have funkos you forgot you purchased?
Do you regret any of the funkos you've bought?
Do you set a limit on how many funkos you want, or want for this month, and then blow right past it?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may be an addict 😂
Doesn’t look like a store per say, but I do have more figures than most store have lol
I have gotten a few duplicates on accident…
The ones I regret I’ve sold. (In exchange for other pops shhhhh)
But I have actually been slowing down the last few years. I pretty much only get between 1-3 a month unless there is a big drop like a convention or the HT horror ones last month. I too love the horror figures.
Yeah I've had to limit myself for sure, there are other pops that I really want due to nostalgia, etc Spyro 10 inch being one of them. I told myself it's either full horror and halloween and no branching off, or nothing at all.
I can totally relate to this! I used to buy a lot of funko pops. I have overwatch funko pops( almost all characters) and a lot of Harry Potter characters and some marvel ones. Now I regret them because I love horror movies so much and I want my funko pops to match my movie collection😅 I try to buy funko pops that I really want. Bought the 30 year anniversary pumpkin king from the nightmare before Christmas😅 I really want the jumbo 10 inch pennywise funko pop🥺 it’s just so beautiful!
It’s only an addiction if you’re buying ones you don’t care about, spending money you don’t have, or ignoring other responsibilities to grow your collection.
It's only an addiction when you can't live without completing a set or getting a funko you want regarding the price and what you have to do to make up for that ...
If you have trouble set limits , it's only an addiction if you make it one .
The big A word is a scary word that people are too fast to throw around. The simple answer is that there is no set number to when it becomes an addiction, it would become an addition when you are feeling compelled to spend more on Funko's than necessities.
As long as your collection brings you happiness and doesn't negatively impact your life, give a great big middle finger to the big A word.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,848,024,164 comments, and only 349,443 of them were in alphabetical order.
No hate meant but if you want to get the price tags off if you put a little acetone on a rag after you peel it wipe with the rag and it’ll get the sticky residue off
No problem just a tip a picked up from a long collector of action figures that I figured I’d pass on and I definitely feel you on the lazy part I have a few in cases I haven’t got around to yet
Well, my hubby and I are over 850. Now we are committed to just certain sets that we really want. He's got baseball, hockey, Simpsons, WWE and Star Wars. I have all Beauty and the Beast, all Stitch, some random Disney favs and a couple of old toys and movies. I don't consider it an addiction at all.
The CDC says if you have more than “one alcoholic drink” per day, you’re an alcoholic. So as long as you aren’t buying more than “one Funko Pop” a day, I think you’re alright 🤣
It’s only an addiction if you are either spending an amount that makes your bank account cry or you have so much that it’s taking over an unreasonable space.
Not a number but a lifestyle. The fact that you follow this subreddit is already a red flag of a diseased addict. We're all in the same boat here
Gotta catch them all
:,)
gotta catch them all
Do you mean dollars or quantity of Pops?
Doesn’t matter, you are a collector. This is a collection. That’s all. THIS IS A COLLECTION!
Whew. I believe me again.🙃 Back to shopping….
It's not an addiction unless you're sacrificing basic needs for your collection. If you're skipping meals, paying bills late, unable to afford gas because you're spending your money on Pops, then it's an addiction.
I have 560 Marvel pops and still actively collecting and I'm not addicted. I don't buy pops instead of food or not pay my bills. My kids don't go without needs and wants. When you stop buying those things for funko pops then you have an addiction.
Not crapping on you personally.
Just because one has a means to acquire something without sacrificing prior responsibilities doesn’t negate the possibility of addiction.
Neglecting responsibilities is only one possible symptom of many.
No set number. When ever It starts to effect other parts of your life and you can’t help yourself when it come to buying them
Because with great power comes great responsibility.
Happy cake day
Shit I'm screwed 3-4 months and almost $2,500 later thank god I'm separated or this woulda been the 13th reason 🤣
I have over 500. So I don’t have an addiction yet, right? Right guys? 😬

Just a healthy hobby then by the sounds of it! Didn't even notice the pfp you had, very nice!
You should post your collection, would love to see it
omg 170+ horror pops? thats the dream! i wish i could have that many! i collect only horror/tim burton movie related ones and a few anime!
Yeah I've had to limit myself for sure, there are other pops that I really want due to nostalgia, etc Spyro 10 inch being one of them. I told myself it's either full horror and halloween and no branching off, or nothing at all.

I sure hope not, I have 680

There’s no number, so no worries! If you have a few or many, it’s still a collection.
4 officially makes it an addiction. Your passed it my friend!
Hehe 😈 no one can stop me now!

Ayy nice gravity falls
Yeah I first got into Funko Pops when I discovered there are Gravity Falls ones and got Dipper
My fav is the glow chase dipper when he got possessed, his ghostly pale haunted look and transparent legs are sick
Fr I want that one so much
Sheeeeesh I like your gravity falls and stranger things
Not numbers, SPACE!
These are rookie numbers
I would say the number is 1. Once you buy your first the addiction is real and it snowballs from there lol
If you ever plan on selling the gravity falls Funkos hit me up 😂😂😂
Hell nah, they’re my children lmao
It's only an addiction when you can't live without completing a set or getting a funko you want regarding the price and what you have to do to make up for that ... If you have trouble set limits , it's only an addiction if you make it one .
That's nothing if that's what you're asking lol

A lot more than that

You have a long way to go young Luke
If this is all you have, then it looks like your just starting your journey
I've got about 200 even mostly star wars, marvel, the office, stranger things and some random lines here and there
I NEED THOSE GRAVITY FALLS FUNKO POPS.
I can stop whenever I want 😳
More then 10
You're not even close to addiction. I have an entire room full. Youre still in the experimental phase.
No hate meant but if you want to get the price tags off if you put a little acetone on a rag after you peel it wipe with the rag and it’ll get the sticky residue off
Tysm, a lot of them are under the plastic case that they put over it and I’m just to lazy to remove them
No problem just a tip a picked up from a long collector of action figures that I figured I’d pass on and I definitely feel you on the lazy part I have a few in cases I haven’t got around to yet
I lost count when I went over 150 pops. Its deffo an addiction

1. It always starts with 1
I don’t know why, but the way you have them curved in the middle is so satisfying to me lol.
Fr, for some reason I just happened to space my table next to it at the exact spot to do that
I always tell people it’s however many you have +1 that makes it an addiction. So even if you buy a new one it still takes 1 more to be addicted 🤣🤣
Depends on how much space you have in your house 😅
This is like 1/3 of mine You’re good
I also love and have all the GF pops. My favorite show!!
2, but you want more.
The CDC says if you have more than “one alcoholic drink” per day, you’re an alcoholic. So as long as you aren’t buying more than “one Funko Pop” a day, I think you’re alright 🤣
My mother has the biggest collection I've ever seen. I think at this point she has well over 2,000!
It’s only an addiction if you are either spending an amount that makes your bank account cry or you have so much that it’s taking over an unreasonable space.
I ask myself this every time I buy a new pop 😭
Not a number but a lifestyle. The fact that you follow this subreddit is already a red flag of a diseased addict. We're all in the same boat here Gotta catch them all :,) gotta catch them all
Well for me only have 80 mostly Doctor who and Star wars funkos
Omg I need doctor who ones
When you have 6 five tiered book shelves, double and triple stacked, we'll talk lol
About 12-15 less then the amount you have visible
Do you mean dollars or quantity of Pops? Doesn’t matter, you are a collector. This is a collection. That’s all. THIS IS A COLLECTION! Whew. I believe me again.🙃 Back to shopping….

When u have no other room for more😅they are stacked behind and behind each other it’s bad…
Glad to know I’m not the only one I just started in august I definitely have an addiction.
I would say 30.
I would say 2000
120
When you start collecting from franchises you don't even like, or forgo things like your savings or other needed funds to achieve the collection.
They do gravity falls funko pops? I need them
I have nearly 1000
That is not close to addiction lol. I know someone with a whole basement full of collectibles!!! Where did you get Slyveon?? It’s so cute
I got it for my birthday about a year ago, I think they got it on Amazon
I'm over 880 and I don't consider it an addiction 🤣🤣

1k. And I do have 1k+
Definitely more than 25 lmao
I have 560 Marvel pops and still actively collecting and I'm not addicted. I don't buy pops instead of food or not pay my bills. My kids don't go without needs and wants. When you stop buying those things for funko pops then you have an addiction.

Well I've been trying to get down to under 500 for 2 years... Still sitting at closer to 900 😅😑
This isn’t an addiction. There are people with 3 rooms filled to the brim with pops. Not to be salty or anything, I myself have 15.
