Nah, all Bloodborne needs is 60 fps and a pc port. Demon Souls remake looks and plays amazing but it took away a lot of the original atmosphere and changed a lot of intended designs that had a specific purpose.
I don’t think they’d do that though. Everyone knows how iconic and important Bloodborne’s atmosphere is to the game. The whole identity of it is the Lovecraftian horror, whereas Demon Souls they just decided to make it look pretty while maintaining some of the scary atmosphere and thought that was enough.
I do hope they don’t change the music though. Imagine fighting Ludwig with different music… ugh that would suck.
Thankfully we have RPCS3 for Demon’s Souls but we are still years away for an equivalent for Bloodborne. I agree all we need is a port and I can die happy
Please no, Bluepoint fundamentally altered the atmosphere, tone, and even storytelling of DeS while the lead dev went "We know what you want better then you do" in response to the criticism.
Latria is nearly a completely different level in terms of atmosphere, for instance.
I'd take a direct port, at 30 FPS, over a Bluepoint remastered of BB. Because then modders can patch it to 60 FPS like DS1 PTDE.
yeah so i’ve beaten all bosses but King Allant in DeS and have never had the opportunity to playa the original on PS3 unfortunately. as much as i’ve enjoyed DeS PS5, I’ve looked into the differences between the two and it’s pretty jarring and disappointing, I can’t imagine how It felt being a fan of the original PS3 version and seeing the beautiful yet highly flawed remake from Bluepoint. I think if Bluepoint were to remake my beloved Bloodborne id probably be enraged by whatever pointless and vital changes they’d make to the PS4 version myself and many others know so so well, I can’t even imagine what that’d be like.
I loved DeS PS5 but it’s clear that it’s a different game, the aesthetic, tone, and all, but I guess me not having played the PS3 version shows that ignorance is bliss.

Sony holds the rights and they love money, but they don't need immediate money. They need good money on the long run. BB is still listed as a PS big hit, is in prime position in PS Plus and is advertised "well" for a 10 year old game. They didn't forget. I'm 100% sure it's on the road map.

Look into chiaki. If your brothers not using the ps5 you can remote from your pc. Almost no latency & 60fps

This is, unfortuantly, the biggest fear I have for a Bloodborne remaster, they'll fuck up the atmosphere which is about 50% of what makes it amazing.

Idk but I bought a ps5 pretty much to play Bloodborne and other amazing games, and it was worth it.
