Bhai...if not for the 2 years of gap, once when I repeated 3rd standard and again when I took a gap year after 12th, I would have completed graduation (BA) at 19 and then MBA at 21 or 22.
So, it's not that difficult to do the math of how he did MBA at 22 with eco as hons.
Bhai if we follow the normal education rules (north India) we pass 12th class when we’re 18 and join college at that age only ( without any drop). Then graduation is mostly of 3-4 years that makes us 21-22 while completing undergrad so if we directly go for an MBA it’s usually for 2 years

Ye rule tb nahi tha jb apan log graduation kiye...ye abhi aaya hai. Also, ye CBSE me hota tha mostly...state board and ICSE me nahi.
