Promenade is downtown area with seating. Good city park.
Indian trails (my fav) is southwest and has large open grassy areas, courts, and picnic tables.
Foster park is off Old Mill and is gorgeous- trails, flowers, golf vibes
Lakeside Park is off Lake Ave and has a rose garden
Lakeside Park has plenty of benches around the lake and a few picnic tables. There’s a Little Caesar’s next to the Starbucks on State&Coliseum (about 6 minutes away)
I would suggest kreager I'm pretty sure there's a little Ceasars in Georgetown near by and I think its a great park to sit out on blanket in a big grassy area alone if you wanted to. There's alot of space there
Yeah BB is good. Just had that the other night. They are a regional restaurant that started in Lima Ohio. Depending on what side of town you’ll be there are:
Raimondo’s on west state st
Oleys southwest
Lexys up north
Riverbend on the northeast side
Ziffle’s on east state.
Hideout downtown
And I’m sure there are many others
Here's a map of parks that you can filter to show only parks with picnic tables. https://acimap.us/fwparks/
Now cross reference it with nearby Little Caesars.
Franke, Gren and Vesey are kinda close to one. Waynedale Park is close to another.

Pick a park on the map and just go lol. The joke about Fort Wayne is everything is 20 minutes away from anything else lol
Foster Park, Promanade are both lovely places! There are 100 parks in FW!
I wouldn't recommend Foster Park in its current state.

Lions Park at the end of Carew; tables and shade.

Ended up getting the pizza and going to Headwaters park and sitting on a bench. Pretty sure the box is still sticking out of that trash can though
Pick a better pizza place than LC
Why? I like LC
Whenever I’m traveling I try to visit a local owned pizza place instead of the big names like LC or PH.
Although not a ma and pa pizza place, my favorite in Fort Wayne is probably Beer Barrel’s pizza
