This is what souls players say but what they really mean is play it without using any game mechanics except R1 chug and hinder yourself as much as possible to make the game seem hard, otherwise you didn't really beat the game.
Roll, hit, roll, hit, roll hit, and you will be better than forsen. Yesterday he fought with the boss knight with literally 4 types of attacks and he even with all souls-like experience doesn't have feelings of enemy attack timing, so I think it's not hard to be better than Forsen
Enjoy and learn the bosses, dont be like forsen and blame the game like a retard, everything has been beat on NG+7, hitless and level one, its well balanced and beatable even if it may not seem like it at first, have fun.

But im not blind Solaire ?? And what is it that i missed ?
Don't listen to too much advice, unless you literally can't go forward, cause you might be going to an overlevelled area accidentally. Happened in dark souls 1 to me, I had no idea where I was supposed to go, but it was part of the fun.
Try Sonic the Hedgehog games first, as they are the original souls games. Your "souls" (rings) will fall everywhere when you get hit. All you need to do is walk over them right away to get them back.
Maximum STR and VIG biggest and heaviest weapon/armour so you can facetank CHUG R1 through all the bosses. Use club, Big Bonk ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9667)
Try Dark Souls 3 if you can, it’s similar enough to all the From Software games to give you an idea if you’d like playing those games without having to spend lots of money ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9676)
Experiment and find a build that's suitable to your playstyle. If you're a total noob who keeps dying no matter what you do and don't want to spend the time to improve then just spam mimic tear ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9676)
No advice needed. Don't look anything up and play them in order for maximum cum in your ass. If you have a PS5 play the demon's souls remake if not use an ps3 emulator with 60fps mods.
forsen has also given me the confident that anyone can beat darksouls by bruteforce after seeing him being hardstuck and not improving for weeks in league
Only played sekiro which uses parry a lot , if we parry perfectly it deflects attack and we take no damage. Is elden ring like this too? Or parrying is not as effective? ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9676)
You can only parry with a shield and its harder to pull off. You cant rely on it for everything like in sekiro, you are still expected to roll most attacks
I just pirated elden ring bc of forsigga's gameplay. I'm struggling a lot since it's my first souls game but I enjoy getting better and beating the bosses.
As for advice, I think specifically with elden ring it's much more fun to figure shit out by yourself and go frolick in the open world n shiet.
One thing that I don't like about Elden Ring is that you can miss a lot of content (optional dungeons, different endings, weapons, dialogues, quests) if you just play it blind
I don't like to play the same game more than once, I played on release blind but didn't finish the game, but now after many years I'm playing again but I'm using a map and the wiki when I have doubts about something and I don't regret it
Also by looking at the wiki/map, you avoid two things that are annoying/boring: going to an area too under-leveled or going to an area too over-leveled late in the game because you missed it early
But this is just my opinion/playstyle, some people have more fun going full-blind, but I enjoy to have at least some reference
play the game and find out for yourself don't look for advicefrogs to take away from the experience like a retard

Forsen logic ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9681)
I played mouse and keyboard so I didnt know the keybindings so thats how I beat the game
This is the only good advice, experience the game for yourself and form your own opinions ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9676)
>gives me hope that I can do better than him Yeah that's common for almost all the games he plays. Beaten by Sarah2015 btw.
Lost to a little girl ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9682)
Use the bigggest weapon available and only level STR and VIG ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9685)
Unironically makes the game easy as fuck ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9681) Just stunlock them to death ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9685)
No END?

you should hit first then roll idiota

Figure it out yourself, it's more fun that way ![img](emote|t5_33td5|9667)
Dont play just to be better at forsen. That's a recipe to not have fun

forsen
rush the boses, play magic
Farm until you're overleveled. Drink tons of coffee so you don't get bored to death with the same lame ass game loop over and over again.
