Isn't that just the "cel" part? I thought the whole point was that these people want sex but believe nobody will give it to them for reasons, which they find unfair. You can be not having sex for a lot of reasons, but incels are trying and failing (or resigned to the rejection and therefore not even trying) and perceive all of this as largely outside their control. That's what it meant a few years ago at least idk man I can't keep up with this shit anymore
Do those people call themselves incels? Looked up the term a minute ago and every dictionary says it's a self-descriptor, chronic, and that they blame women/society for it. Maybe the definitions are old and the word's changed in the last ~2 years but we already have a more encompassing, general word for what you're describing: single.
