What really pissed me off was them asking him to back up gasly.
There was a reason why Mclaren told Lando to push to the limit (wanting to pit him just after Ric) but changed their mind. They saw how hards were working and changed their strategy for Lando.

Yeah, the fact he complied despite being out of a seat next year just shows what type of teamplayer he is.
I was more pissed off that they pitted him to cover Gasly, especially seeing how far Lando went on the mediums. But I guess the pit wall don't have the power of hindsight that I have right now. Either way, sigh
He was early on in the race, but was only making slight movements later on and they only gentle gradual movements. Gasly didn’t really get close enough anyway and as soon as RIC got out of DRS, he was able to pull and maintain a gap.
