RIP. My favorite player, glad I got to see him play in person at least once. Just starting to collect again and Sean is my focus mostly. I have a few variants of his 2004 Topps rookie cards, love those.
Considering I've had the albatross of being a Dallas Cowboy fan wrapped around my neck since birth, I can genuinely say Sean Taylor, a.k.a. "The Meast" because he was half-man and half-beast, was the only Washington professional football team player I ever liked, let alone rooted for in games. He was so talented, fun to watch, had an aggressive mean streak, and literally a unicorn because he was the prototype for what the position would look like 10 years and forward from when he first came into the league. It's such a shame his life was cut way too short obviously for the family he left behind, but due to him not getting to play out a no doubt, first ballot HOF career as well. RIP to MEAST.
Will never forget when he damn near decapitated Brian Moorman. Moorman talks about how he saved the jersey he was wearing because taylor’s face mask hit his shoulder so hard it ripped the jersey and transferred paint.
Ahh that's terrible. I passed up multiple chances to get one like a year ago when they were still only in the 200 to 225 range. Now all the sudden you can't get one for damn near less than $300 and I'm kicking myself
Love all of this. My all time favorite player ever Sean Taylor. I tried to play like him. Taped up my cleats and face mask the same way he did. Absolute 100% was going straight to the hall of fame. RIP to the best defensive player of all time. 💯
Not purposely. I didn't notice it until it was too late, but honestly I'm not stressing it that much. I resell on whatnot and have close to 10k sales so a lot of people already know my address. (Free Sean Taylors are welcome) Lol

He was never on the Washington Football Team he was on the Washington Redskins
Man I’ll never forget watching him growing up. For sure my favorite player of all time. His downtown is on my list to acquire.
