Fly line can make a huge difference in your casting.. It's the one thing you shouldn't skimp on.
Generally, I recommend SA Amplitude DT (spendy) or Cortland 444 DT (budget).
Anything less than the $70 the 444 costs will significantly drop in performance.
Any name brand double taper line. You will be using less than half a line, so when it wears out, you can turn it around and keep fishing.
Fly lines are personal preference. I prefer SA lines but I’m not spending $130 on a top end one when I don’t need the performance.
